A little disappointed because I figured I needed some haku leis for the upcoming senior night game against Fullerton but I had to go elsewhere to purchase my haku leis. however as i walked in, i was glad to see that they had ID tags and reusable bags, which i can use since the zipper of the bag doesn’t close very good. I have to go in and see which bags will work for me because I do have a tendency to bring my own beverages to places that has self-service soda fountain drink stations, which is very good and i have to say that I am going to be in that store to choose which bag will work for me. either the smallest one or the largest one, depending on how big the can size sodas are. i need to also look forward into getting a ID tags so that my bag does not get stolen from me again and if they find it, they know who it belongs to so that way it will make it easier for me to reclaim my items that were stolen and i can have a piece of mind and I will be able to breathe a lot easier. I will be back to get these items as a wish list for Christmas or for a future shopping trip and hope that they do offer local discounts for the residents who reside in Hawaii and it will help to save money too.

It’s easy to miss this store unless you are looking for the Makai Market food court. Tucked away in the corner, is the Islands’Best offering gifts and souvenirs. The store carries local jewelry, knick knacks, keychains, bags, hats, magnets and accesories. Of course, not everything is made in Hawaii(mostly made in Vietnam or China). The products they carry are mostly inferior quality, but the staff are friendly and helpful.

Everything in this store is pretty much Hawaiian kine island souvenirs for tourists and stuff. It’s right by one of the entrances to the Makai Market Shopping Center. As I was cruising around the mall, I figured I check this place out just for the heck of it. I so did not fit in because I was not obviously a tourists but it was all good with me. Some of the items that they have here are pretty nice. They have some nice handcrafted gifts such as wood displays, novelty Hawaiian wood decorations, calendars, accessories, keychains, stickers, decals, clothing, household decorations, Hawaiian quilts, refrigerator magnets, and many more. The staff and customer service is aight. The shop itself is pretty small. I didn’t really bother checking the prices since I am not shopping here. But since it is Ala Moana one can always and almost assume that prices are automatically going to be jacket up to it’s max. The shop is easy to spot because it’s so conveniently close to the entrance and in between the Coffee Bean and Diary Queen/Orange Julius. Unilocal 365 Challenge #272/365
