Island Libations

What can I say? Cyn is simply the best at what she does. I was a guest at my cousin’s wedding this past weekend, and Cyn went above and beyond to meet the needs of all the guests. She got creative with some drinks as we ran out, and also had to taste test a couple to ensure the drinks were quality.
She was going non stop throughout the night to ensure guests were having a great time. I highly recommend her for your wedding or events. Island Libations, a non stop party with Cyn!

Just signed my contract with Cyn. My event is not till 2016 but so far she has been a pleasure to work with, mostly just email correspondence. I’ll email her my questions and I always get a speedy response. If she is busy and can’t get back to me, she will let me know when I can expect a response. So far, I’m happy with her service. I’ll post a follow up when the time comes!

Cynthia was frickin outstanding for our wedding. She was so nice, attentive, awesomely kind and such a kindred spirit. She was amazingly aware of when people needed drinks. She was fun and had a great sense of humor, which was good because my friends are a bunch of twisted buttmunches.
Thao and I didn’t have the luxury of being able to spend any time with her before the wedding since we were from out of town. However, she went above and beyond via email and was more considerate than expected. She is definitely concerned more about making people feel comfortable and happy than trying to optimize her profit. She was extremely honest when she could’ve nickel and dimed us here and there. She is the epitome of the person you want to have in the service industry.

Cyn was amazing to work with and during the planning stage she really went above and beyond for us. I planned our wedding from the mainland, and Cyn made the whole process go smoothly. Upon my arrival to Hawaii, she met us at our family’s house for a signature cocktail tasting. She recommended some of the best budget wine I’ve ever tasted, which truly saved us a ton of money at the wedding. In fact we liked it so much, her recommendations now stock the wine racks at our house. She also went shopping with us, and once again recommended a specific brand of inexpensive vodka. My family are huge vodka martini drinkers, and quite honestly vodka snobs. We took her advice and upon going home did a blind taste test… no one could tell the different between the high end brands and the one we bought for the wedding. Once again, a HUGE amount of money saved. And just like the wine, my family now only uses this brand, such a money saver.
The only downside is Cyn had to leave the evening of our wedding for her parent’s anniversary. I was aware of this prior and completely understood. However the staff that worked the event didn’t do a great job, there was a lot of confusion regarding the types of signature drinks we had, how to make them etc. Also the proper glassware was not used. I reached out to Cyn after the wedding, and she was more than apologetic, even offering her services for an upcoming event at no charge. I think my wedding was unique, as she was not there to supervise her staff. I have no doubts if she was, everything would have gone off without a hitch. Despite this we definitely would still recommend island libations to anyone with an event coming up!

My husband and I are so blessed to have found Cynthia while researching vendors for our wedding day. When first inquiring about her services, Cynthia hosted us at her house where we enjoyed a complimentary tasting. We tried various wines at different price points as well as several mixed cocktails that Cynthia whipped up. My husband and I had our own secret cocktail drink that all our friends and family absolutely love, so Cynthia was more than happy to offer this as an option for our guests as well. She was very ACCOMODATING in working with our budget and LISTENED to exactly what we did and didn’t want. Cynthia blew our minds away with and VALUE, QUALITY, & VARIETY of drink options within our budget.
After booking Cynthia, we met her to purchase beer, wine, and liquor together based on our headcount. A HUGE HELP was that she stored all of our alcoholic beverages and we didn’t have to worry about transporting it to our venue.
Leading up to our wedding day, Cynthia was always PROMPT and EFFICIENT in responding to my emails/​phone calls. I greatly appreciate this.
On the day of our wedding Cynthia executed «ALL THE LITTLE DETAILS» I envisioned to go with our rustic, romantic, barn themed wedding. She used wooden wine crates, personalized menus, and color matching napkins to coordinate well with our overall décor. I know that Cynthia and her team worked their butts off to make everything run as smoothly and efficiently as possible. They gave nothing but the best service to our guests and us as bride and groom. Her business is definitely unique, valuable, and highly recommended for your special event needs.
Cynthia is a KIND-​HEARTED woman who cares about her clients and is very PERSONABLE. We felt more than just a vendor-​bride & groom relationship. We now consider her to be a friend and definitely someone we would hire again in a heartbeat!

This rating is long overdue! Cynthia is amazing and so much fun to work with! We met and planned from a distance (California to Hawaii) and everything was perfect! Cynthia was easy to reach and readily available throughout the planning process. Our guests loved the special attention and raved about the signature drinks. Cynthia was the perfect bartender for our wedding. I had a full bar and she had everything that is needed to turn plain old alcohol into dazzling creations. Everyone had a great time. All you do is provide the alcohol and Cynthia and her husband do the rest. Since my husband and I did the food ourselves it was such a relief to have a competent bartender handling the drinks side of things and handling it so well! Highly recommend this service for your wedding and event.

Tremendous service: Cynthia was amazing through the entire process. She picked up all of the alcohol from our home in Manoa and drove it up to our wedding venue on the North Shore. We forgot an extra case and she happily made a second trip and picked it up. The bar service during the receptions were absolutely perfect — no hitch or hiccups. The bartenders were kind, very talented, and fast! I would highly recommend Island Libations to anyone who is interested in a great, afforable bar service for a large event such as a wedding! Personalized Service, Professional, Classy and Energetic are only a few of the words that come to mind when I look back to the services that Island Libations provided for my daughter’s wedding. My daughter lives on Oahu, I do not so essentially I was planning a destination wedding which meant lots of research in finding vendors that I could afford but who were not going to slack off in providing exceptional service. Cynthia went so far above and beyond to provide helpful information and recommendations prior to the wedding. She listened to our likes/​dislikes regarding wine and champagnes and presented us with superb recommendations that were below our budget = PERSONALIZED SERVICE !!! One of the first things I found to be very helpful was how Island Libations provided their own tables, white table cloths and even their own umbrella if necessary. These items really add up when every vendor hands you a list of the items necessary for them to provide services that you are paying for = PROFESSIONAL!!! Our guests were Greeted with an amazing Welcome drink that was created just for us = CLASSY !! Standing close by with Champagne, Cynthia and her husband made sure that mine and my husband’s glasses were always full and ready for the next Toast = ENERGETIC !!!

It seems like there really isn’t a lot of companies that do what Island Libations does, but if you need a bartender for your event — Cynthia really made the day! We used her for our wedding in the Moili Gardens at Kualoa Ranch. Cyn setup the bar, made the cocktails ahead of time and served our guests with a smile the entire evening. We were so pleased with her service and so were our friends and family. Highly recommended for your event.
