Island Futons specializes in futon sofa beds and futon mattresses as well as other solid wood bedroom furniture.

We carry Futon Sofabeds, Futon Mattresses, Futon Covers, Platform Bed Frames, Bunk Beds and Pune’e/ Daybeds.

All of our wood frames are made from responsibly grown plantation wood products and have the best 5 and 10 year warranties available for futon frames. All of the cotton batting used in our futon mattresses is American grown.

History

Established in 2011.

Island Futons & Furnishings opened in Kalihi on Nimitz Hwy. near Watanabe Floral.

Transformed from a former chicken slaughter house historically known in Kalihi, Island Futons now has a beautiful and spacious showroom for customers to shop in.

Island Futons & Furnishings opened its doors to fill the gap of a specialty futon store on the isand of O’ahu. Offering a wide selection of high-​quality frame and mattress styles, we try to stock something for everyone.

Aloha,

I’m Rachael, the owner of Island Futons.

I opened the store in 2011 with the goal of helping people find affordable furniture that helps them maximize space, since many of us in Hawaii have limited living space.

The store is set up so you can browse without being hassled and we are always there to help you with questions about prices and our different products. As a small business we care a lot about great customer service and we strive to go above and beyond to help you find what you need.

When we started out I was the only sales person and my husband, Mark, would deliver after his day job. These days I am lucky to have my brother, Dylan, help me a couple of days per week in the showroom. Jesse, our awesome and courteous delivery person, has been with us since 2012. I am proud to say that everyone at Island Futons is friendly and caring of the work they do and appreciative of every customer we have.
