Prepare for all the head you can get on Kapiolani Blvd. Let me clarify: order draft beer and prepare to get a lot of head. Let me clarify: the bartender pour draft beer like a rookie! This place is terrible. I went here on a Saturday night at 9pm and there were only 2 people in the bar. The bartender wouldn’t even come serve us at a table, we sat there and waited and waited(at least 10 minutes) then had to get up to go order our drinks at the bar. Got 2 draft beers with several inches of head on top(rookie pour, like that famous picture of Hillary Clinton trying to act«down with the people» and she’s handing over a beer that’s 1 inch of beer and 5 inches of head *insert Monica Lewinsky/Bill Clinton joke*) and sour attitude from the bartender like he was upset that there were customers in the place and he couldn’t hang out with his 2 friends at the bare hi he never stopped talking to the whole time. Also the sign said«Happy Hour 6−10» and we were charged full price for our beers. I questioned the bartender and he sneered, «Monday to Friday only» and rolled his eyes. If there’s days it is valid, the sign should be specific. I felt like he upcharged us to be able to pocket the money for himself because he obviously was not making any that night because nobody was in there. This business is in trouble, because they can’t continue to operate this way.

The food was ok but the service and attitude of the servers were horrible, we can see why there were hardly any customers. The servers found it more important to talk with other co workers and friends instead of checking to see if the customers wanted anything. We had to go up to them to ask if we could have more food, drinks and the bill. We won’t be going there again.

4AM! This place is OPENUNTIL4AM and still serving pizza into the wee hours of the night! My friends and I were out on a typical Friday night — bar hopping, dancing and drinking until we got tired and had those late night cravings for delicious food. I busted out my trusty Unilocal app and found out this place was open! I used to be a frequent patron of V-Lounge, but sadly haven’t made my way here after that closed and re-opened as Inferno’s until that fateful night. Parking is rather difficult. We were lucky to find street parking close by, but don’t park at Ala Moana! They will TOW your car — as we witnessed on our walk to Inferno’s. We ordered«That pizza with the egg» as the menu called it — sopressata, cheese and egg. That was my usual order at V-Lounge so I decided to stick with what I know. The wait wasn’t too long, and this pizza came out in a timely manner, fresh and hot! Our servers were pretty cool, too. However, the pizza didn’t throw me back into delicious nostalgia like I had hoped. The pizza just didn’t compare — however, it did feed my pizza craving. Don’t forget to ask for that hot sauce. One pizza could easily serve 2 people, but you should order more if you had more people or were super hungry. We wandered in around 12:30AM, but the place didn’t really start perking up until around 1:30AM. I suppose that’s when the«drunchies» kick in, lol. On other notes: bathrooms are clean, the music is BUMPIN’, and their bar is stocked. Would I come here again? If I had late night pizza cravings past midnight… maybe…? Who knows.

Wanted check out this pizza place. 1st Off the Dude at the counter had a very bad attitude. I had purchase $ 20 groupon vouchers but I still had to spend $ 6 extra for one size(small) thin crust, pepperoni, light sauce with very little chesse pizza. My daughter could of ate the whole pizza herself. 2nd, the lights were’t working properly in the dinning area. Sorry, I definitely would not go back to this establishment again. Very horrible experience and awlful customer service. I would not recommend this place at all. Unsatisfied Customer

Too bad the former owners were not in charge here anymore. The pizza was wayyyyyyyy better with more choices. To top it off the attitude of the workers suck, completely rude!!! I’m standing at the bar trying to make an order and the lady cashier totally ignores me to take some other guys orders at the bar. Am I just standing there just because. LAST time there for sure.

Food is awesome! My friends and I just left Café Maru, and came here to get pizza. I was expecting the norm but wow. I’m obsessed with cheese pizza and Kyle didn’t let me down with my order. Amazing food and amazing service. Everyone here is so nice! Definitely recommend.

Don’t rely on Inferno’s website for the hours! It says 5:00 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday. I went there yesterday, Wednesday, at 6:30 p.m. and it was closed! The low rating is not on the food, but on the poor management.

I wanted to go to infernos to get take out, after calling about 7 times with no answer I drove to the restaurant and found that the doors were locked and no one was there.

Against previous reviews we wanted to try Infernos for dinner hoping to find a great artisanal pizza spot. Errrr… previous reviews were pretty much confirmed. We had the«all the stuff plus egg» pizza, jalapeño poppers, two well drinks and a Corona which came to $ 69! Even before the bill came out I thought the pizza was ok. Poppers were good, service was actually pretty good hence the one star. But it really isn’t worth the trip. There are other pizza places cheaper and just as good if not better quality in the area. There are also better hang out spots and bars.

Brick oven pizza is usually great. This one is OK. Crust is pretty good. Toppings pretty typical. Good size, can even share one. $ 15 bucks seems a bit high. Street food is supposed to be cheap and good.

The District night club is connected to Infernos pizza through like a secret alley way– really cool and mysterious! And it’s funny to watch the alcohol line pileup at the Districts’ bartender bar through the trick mirror on the other side when you could easily pass through the alley to Inferno’s bartender and get your alcohol where there’s no lines!

This place is known for their thin crust and tasty pizza. It relocated from Ward Warehouse. This is a bar pub environment with a live DJ on Saturday night. Bar apps we tried were cheese and bacon on fries. It was an ok experience. I would order the pizza for take out if I ever crave it.

I have to admit, I was quite shocked to see that Infernos had a 2.5 star overall rating. I’ve eaten at their food truck when they first started doing business and a bunch of times afterwards, I’ve always thought their pizzas were great. After eating at the Kona street location I have to say something seems to have been lost in transition. The plzzas seem kind of bland and lacked the«made with loving care» touch that the trucks had. The pizzas we ordered were the pepperoni/sausage/mushroom, and the truffle plzza. Both were OK but like I mentioned, wasn’t as good as what I’ve had from their trucks. The service was good considering it was the bartender that was doing everything… pouring drinks, taking orders, delivering pizza to the tables, and busing as well. The place was pretty crowded, too so props to that guy(working Saturday evening.) I’m hoping it was just an off night so I’ll surely return and keep my hopes up. I’ve already lost what was my favorite pizza here(V-Lounge) so I’m hoping I also didn’t lose what I thought was another really good pie.

I get it. People miss V-Lounge, and I don’t blame them. I don’t even know how many prima pizzas I’ve ordered during their run. But just because you miss them doesn’t mean you have to be biased against Inferno’s! A couple of friends and I went to Inferno’s last night to grab a bite to eat before a show at The Republik, and we left very happy. Now, I like to think that the three of us are pretty savvy Unilocalers, but we honestly went into it without having looked up reviews before hand. Gasp! Why tempt fate, right? Haha. But in all honesty I’m glad we went in with completely open minds because just looking at the reviews people have left you would think that Inferno’s is a place to stay away from. And that’s not the case at all! Let me start by addressing the service. A lot of reviewers have blasted the service they’ve received, and although I’m not trying to contradict them, basing things off my own personal experience at Inferno’s I have no idea what they’re talking about. Since I got to Inferno’s about 15 minutes before my friends showed up, my first stop inside was the bar. The bartender(and who I’d later find out also doubled as our server) was very friendly, personable, and attentive to my drink orders. No issues at all. And after my friends came and we re-situated to a booth, which by the way seem to be fixed up(for the most part) from the horrendous state they were in during the V-Lounge days, we were quickly checked on and had all our questions answered. After looking over the menu, we decided on satisfying our prima nostalgia by sharing a truffle pizza, which came topped with fresh mozzarella, onions, mushrooms, garlic, and drizzled with truffle oil. Now maybe it was because of the good company I was with, but I swear it took only a few minutes for our pizza to be ready, and when it got to our table it was perfectly cooked. There was just the right amount of crisp, crunchiness to the pizza, and the toppings had a great marriage of flavors that made each bite enjoyable. And although it wasn’t exactly the same as the prima we all knew and loved, it was a more than fair substitute. Also, there is also the option to add additional toppings to any pizza to make it just the way you want. Maybe the next time I’ll ask for an egg and prosciutto on the truffle pizza, so it gets to be an almost identical rebuild of the prima. Noms. Speaking frankly, the shocking number of bad reviews is concerning, and it’s almost too prevalent to be chalked up to just coincidence or a few bad nights. However, speaking for myself and for my friends, we had ZEROPROBLEMS with Inferno’s and I know I would be more than willing to come back again to get my pizza fix. So if you’re on the fence about Inferno’s, my recommendation would be to give them a try yourself and come to your own conclusions. I know in hindsight I would’ve regretted it immensely had I let the bad reviews scare me away.

Minus stars is really what I’d like to rate this place! Why? Well for one my party of 3 felt absolutely neglected upon walking in. I kept telling my friend that the place looked closed, but she was hopeful that she’d be able to redeem her Groupon for 2 pizzas. So we came in and I found the familiar V Lounge setup… minus the once friendly staff. Since no one greeted or acknowledged us, I plopped us down in the brightly lit lounge area thinking that they’d notice a new party. Well 5 minutes later my friend went to track down the waiter. At first I felt bad for him because he was managing the bar and front of the house solo but then I realized that this guy really needs to practice his server skills… perhaps he should play Diner Dash a few times to learn how to properly prioritize guests/tasks. I know my expectations of service are higher than most since my first job was in a restaurant-but I also am quite confident that I’m by no means asking for the sun/moon/or stars. The server told my friend that he’d be right over. We never saw him attempt to come our way. Instead he delivered some pizzas to other tables, took some beer orders, cleaned some tables, etc. So then I had the bright idea of moving to the table he had just cleaned so that he’d notice us. Uh-no dice. Finally had to flag him down. He apologized saying that he had been swamped when we walked in. We told him we wanted to use a Groupon to which he said that they would only allow us to redeem it via phone(my friend had printed hers out). And then when I asked about the pizzas-we found out that the guava pork was excluded from the Groupon deal… so he asked if we needed more time. Sure, we said-not realizing that it would mean that he wouldn’t come back. So after what seemed like 10 minutes-I told him that we were ready to order. He said okay but proceeded to close out a tab at the bar, refill a pitcher(which btw is $ 24…do I not get out enough or is this somewhat high?), etc. We were getting ready to leave when he came by and asked us what we’d like to order. I told him that due to the bad service we had decided to leave. Without skipping a beat he said ok. No apology. No interest in how he could have made our experience better. No way I’m coming back here. If I ever support Infernos again(big if)…it will be via their farmer’s market stalls. I think they bit off more than they could chew. Groupon isn’t a disease-it is a way for patrons to test out businesses. Why our paper print out was refused boggles my mind as it was in good condition and the barcode was easily scannable. Don’t they just scan the bar codes on your phone? Anyhow-it was around 9PM and we ended up dining at the mall. I’m somewhat angry that V Lounge was replaced by Inferno. Now where will I go for egg atop my pizza? *sad face*

I just bought a hot deals voucher for this location. I was very pleased with the service that I got. However, when I went to use the restroom they had no toilet paper in the men’s restroom. I was like did they replace the toilet paper? The pizza I had was very good though and if you like pizza, then this pizza place is for you and there are most people that do like places that open late after midnight. Go when it is not too busy from 9pm-midnight. Guaranteed you can get a table.

Years ago one super fun late night I ended up at V Lounge and had the most mind blown pepperoni pizza ever. I never used Unilocal then. Ever since I got on Unilocal,I realized there was something better at V Lounge — the Prima. The day I finally got a chance to go, they were closed and now become inferno pizza. Despite the horrible reviews on food & service, I still kept this place bookmarked just so I can try since technically u can pay extra to create your own Prima. Luckily a groupon came out. I immediately rallied a bunch of friends to try it out. First id like to say this rating leaned heavily towards service. I rarely rate places on service unless if it was really bad. I mean good food can make me really happy and forgiving. We came on a slow night and there were 2 tables side by side available. Perfect for us(8 people) to all sit together we presented our 2 groupons. The waiter at first was hesitant to take both and insisted that it’s one per table. He ended up redeeming both and allowing us to use 2 on separate tables side by side. We ordered 2 All Meat, Truffle, Truffle with Egg & Prosciutto, Sausage Pepperoni and Mushrooms, Pepperoni only pizzas. Fast forward 30 minutes, we waited this long and still no pizza. Finally 1 pizza showed along with the kitchen staff Kyle. He walked right to our table, threw his hands acting intimidating and said«you CAN’T use 2 groupons.» My friend explained that we are on 2 separate tables and can be split, on top of that the waiter already redeeming the groupons. Pizza Nazi then said rudely«then you should sit in two SEPARATE tables»(pointing at entire 2 opposite corners of the restaurant) «I’m going to undo the redeeming» and stormed away. The waiter came apologizing and asked to write one of the groupons name down if we come back we can mention the name. At this point, there was no «if I come back in the near future», thanks to the unnecessary bullying attitude thrown upon us. Unnecessary. Me: «I’m not coming back. I just want my groupon back so I can return it.» Waiter: «I don’t know how.» Me: «Well you redeemed it and you refused to let us use it. So you should figure out how to void it or Kyle should» He walked away and never came back with an answer. 2 hours later all pizzas finally arrived. They all looked the same, even though the description sounded like they should be different. The pizzas were a little over salted(probably because they hated us) and for the size(12″), definitely did not worth the full price(thank god for 1 other groupon ha). Eventually the waiter still couldn’t figure out what to do and was being yelled at by Pizza Nazi. He ended up crediting $ 19(groupon value) off of the check. So, summarize. Inferno — smelly and old like V-Lounge but long lost its mind blowing pizzas and amazing service. Won’t be back.

I never got the chance to try the V-Lounge pizza before it changed, but I hear good things about it. I decided to take a chance and try Inferno’s pizza despite its 2.5 rating. I largely took this gamble because I saw both a guava smoked pork pizza and a truffle pizza on the menu. I almost didn’t go here because I called it 3 – 4 times and nobody picked up so I assumed it was closed. Since I was parked at Ala Moana already, I decided I’d walk over and see what their posted hours were so that I could come back and try it some other time. To my surprise when I got there, the bar was actually open and there was even a family in there eating a pizza. I immediately saw why nobody was answering my phone calls. Both of the servers there were sitting at the counter playing some console video game. Hockey or something, who knows. I don’t usually factor in service when judging a place in order to give a rating. There has to be something exceptionally wrong for it to be of note, and this was definitely one of those times. When other customers walked in the servers would just look over, see if they needed to do anything and then go right back to the game. Anyways, I ordered both of the above mentioned pizzas to go, and honestly they were pretty decent. I do think there are better pizzas around though. Overall, Inferno’s turned out to be a fairly bad experience. The pizza was average, but«I’ve experienced better».

I’m pretty disappointed that v-lounge closed down and that they changed owners. Infernos pizza turned out to be mediocre and i was definitely unimpressed. The dough was thicker and chewier(in comparison to V-lounge’s pizza), and they super skimp on ingredients, as their meat lovers pizza had just little bits of meat spread across the top. We also got the truffle pizza which was decent, but you can’t really go wrong with truffle oil anyway. I’m so glad we bought the Groupon cuz if i actually paid full price for these pizzas, I’d be pissed. The meat lovers pizza was I think $ 18, and truffle pizza was $ 19(or vice versa). We got the $ 30 groupon which allowed us to choose from 2 pizzas and a pitcher of beer(coors light or Heineken were our choices). And if you order extra toppings on the pizzas then you pay for the toppings on top of the Groupon. I guess for $ 30, two pizzas and a pitcher of beer isn’t bad, but I probably would never return and pay full price for this place. One plus about this place is that it doesn’t smell as grungy as V-lounge, as it looks like they have SLIGHTLY upgraded their furniture and interior. But their chairs along the walls still look the same and have major rips through them. I guess the good thing about this place is that they’re open until 4 am so i could see why it’d be a popular spot to hit up especially after a night of drinking.

Okay so I, like everyone else was sad to find out that this is no longer v-lounge and that the pizza has changed. It is always disappointing to come to a place that you specifically come to for your fix. It was late last night and I wanted my prima pizza fix. Come to find out that it has been taken over by Inferno’s pizza. Now, Inferno’s I’ve heard of several times before and that it is quite good. However, replacing an old favorite puts them in a bad spot. With all that being said… I ordered the Truffle pizza which is similar to the old prima pizza, just missing a few ingredients. Unfortunately they don’t have pancetta but they do have prosciutto and raw egg! I asked for them to be added to my pizza and bada boom! It might not be exactly like the old prima but it satisfied me more than I thought it would. Although I will dearly miss and always long for my prima baby, I think I can settle for this! She go! However, like many… no more of the hot sauce :( A big plus to the change is that there is much more seating and seems more comfortable for some reason. Service was excellent as well! Will def be coming back for more.

Inferno’s @The Lounge 1344 Kona Street 808−375−1200÷808−953−0007 started 2 weeks ago. GF and I came here for V Lounge great Pizza, surprised to see the bar name had been changed. Pizza was good but I still liked the V Lounge Pizza the best. We had Margherita and Truffle Pizza. I rate 4.5 Star. PS. receipt was still Venus Night Club.
