I haven’t been in a long time and back in the day it was good. However, I spoke with someone about it and she had said it went WAY down hill. With all the negative reviews I guess I might go somewhere else for Indian food.

i went there just recently for an early evening dinner, the food was reasonably nice considering the number of indian vegetarian serving restaurants. The plain roti was really nice, and the vegetables were good as well. The restaurant is old and not kept up, the food is alright to have when you have not much options here.

I thought it was just me, but… no. The food is TOTALLY overpriced. $ 14.95 for veggie biryani? huh? The service was ok. The food(to me– was ok)…to my Bangladeshi husband? God no!!! I think they used Rice A Roni for the pulao. And I’m not sure what the«naan» was. We just moved here from SoCal and we can’t find good Indian food here!!! Argh!

This was the worst Indian restaurant I have ever been to– I have no idea how they’ve stayed in business this long! The food was mediocre and extremely overpriced. Service was rather unfriendly, and the lassi we ordered tasted like they had previously used the blender for something garlicky and didn’t bother to wash it out! The kulfi was too deep frozen to eat. As for the previous comment re. microwaving– I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised! Go to Café Maharani instead!

Slow service and bad food makes me wonder how this place can stay in business.

Good, simple Indian food here, especially the daal and the vegetarian items. Don’t eat here if you are hungry; eat here if you plan to be hungry in the next 45 minutes, because that is how long they take to prepare your food. The service is less than stellar, but the food is worth it.
