Description

Specialties

Sharing the sights, sounds, and experiences of metropolitan Honolulu via bicycles.

History

Established in 2013.

Holoholo Bicycles was established in response to the growing number of visitors to Chinatown in Honolulu. By showcasing a side of the city not commonly seen, considering that most city sightseeing is done from the back of a bus on the «Red Line», there is a lot more to see in places vehicles can’t travel.

Our operation has a fleet of 30 Trek Allant 7’s; these are 7-speed commuter-style bicycles that are comfortable and easy to ride. Each Allant rental is accompanied with a basket not to mention that the bicycle lock and helmet are included.

Currently we are the only bicycle rental company located in Chinatown that offers guided tours and a top of a line product. One more thing, we are located adjacent to Manifest, a very popular café by day and cocktail bar by night, and has been a great place to get refreshed. Together, they have created a new destination on Hotel Street sought out by the adventuring kind.

Meet the Business Owner

Brandon R.

Business Owner

My experience in Chinatown extends to when I first became fascinated with old school bartenders at Murphy’s, a famous irish bar & grill located in Chinatown. Since then I had moved from one job to the next till the next job I moved to was the one I created for myself.

I opened my first company, Manifest, in 2009. No formal training, just the desire to do what previous employers had done before. I later moved into an artist loft located and increased my hours spent in Chinatown significantly. It has since put me on top of a bicycle and it was then I began to see the city differently.

I’m honored to have this opportunity hope to offer more and exciting things to come.
