Hawaii Students Housing

I lived here last year and although building management was slow and unorganized we were always told that the owner was putting a hold on everything. As I’m sure that at times it may have been true at other times I’m sure we were given the short of the stick. I have had many great memories in that house but I did live on the top floor which made living a bit more accesible. We hardly encountered bugs never once did our fire alarm go off but the building does have its problems, mostly with the owner. He was a nice enough man when you spoke to him but when it came to making the house more livable, he couldn’t be bothered. I have been a witness to the passing in and out of the downstairs to use the restroom, only to be told on like we were in kindergarten. The sinks were not always in visitor friendly condition, but hey they weren’t always expecting visitors. For his staff to walk through and not only complain to the owner but take pictures of the sink was unbelievable! Although the women were in their later years of life they told on us as if we needed to be carefully monitored, I’m pretty sure we’re all in college and living on our own, we don’t need babysitters. I’m not saying we were the best tenants (yes I am ;) we had occasional parties, never getting too out of hand. Yet we always got the police called on us, there were 18 people living in this area if we all sat on the porch there was sure to be a policeman. I would recommend living here just because of the wonderful people I got to live with but your not always that luck, but as for the owner always having something to complain about… look elsewhere.
