Specialties

HPU is a well-rounded academic institution with more than 50 undergraduate degree programs and 14 graduate programs. Academic strengths include international business, nursing, marine science and diplomacy and military studies to name a few.

HPU boasts nearly 600 full-time and part-time faculty members with outstanding academic and business credentials. Faculty range from top-level executives at Fortune 500 companies to state government leaders who enliven the learning experience with real-world knowledge. HPU’s student-centered approach and low student-faculty ratio of 15:1 naturally results in personal attention and one-on-one guidance. Even with nearly 7,000 students, the average class size is less than 20 students. This means students enjoy all of the technological and academic resources expected at a large university, delivered within the atmosphere of a small school.
