Hawaii Car Transport

The shipper shipped my car to the wrong island, instead of Honolulu on Oahu to Kahului on Maui. When I tried to discuss it with them they insisted that I was lying and that I told them to ship it to Kahului, a place I didn’t even know existed. I requested to speak to the manager, was told she’ll call me back but she never did. What is really disappointing to me is that they kept implying that I was lying to them. It cost me additional $ 470 and a lot of phone calls to get the car to Honolulu.

When shopping for a company to ship my car, I read many of the previous reviews here. I was nervous to use Hawaii Car Transport because of the reviews. Their price was $ 1K cheaper than another company! I called someone who I knew shipped her car, and she actually used this company twice without a glitch. I decided to trust someone I personally knew over the reviews. I’m so glad I did. Everything went smoothly. It was easy to drop off the car, and it was easy to pick up the car on the date I was told it would arrive.
Like others, I couldn’t use the online tracker. HOWEVER, one simple phone call to them provided me the information I needed. No big deal.
Rob A. was wonderful to work with. He constantly followed up on my initial request for information, and he walked me through the steps. As a first-​time auto shipper, Rob A. helped to make the process a lot less worrisome.

This is my 3^rd time shipping my car to and from Hawaii but the first time using Hawaii Transport which actually is based out of New York. I used Pasha Hawaii the other times and def worth the extra money. I WILL NEVER USE HAWAII TRANSPORT AGAIN AND WILL BE INFORMING ALL MILITARY BRANCHES NOT TO USE THEM! I received my car today 9÷29÷15 and was told I would have it by 9÷16÷25. I wasnt able to track my car and got every excuse in the book to its where abouts. Today the driver backed my vehicle off the trailer erratically and parked it. I asked very politely to make friendly conversation while he got my paperwork together where he intercepted my vehicle at to put with my records through this process. The driver instantly was defensive and got within inches of my face and was very aggressive and threatening and said «my yard». I said «where is that» he got closer and yelled «Palm Coast» «look on a map». I have witnesses and that’s when they took video of his behavior. He was very threatening to the point where I felt scared for my life and I started to call the police if he didn’t get out of my face. He then got on the phone with someone and was speaking in his Russian or Bosnian foreign language to them. While talking to this person on the phone he got back in my car and took my keys out of my car and hung up the phone and said to me «if you don’t sign in 5 minutes, I’m taking your car to storage.» I was never given paperwork or the opportunity to sign until that point. I had no problem signing for my car. HE THEN TOOK A PIC OF MY DRIVERS LICENSE WITH HIS PERSONAL PHONE when he already had my info. He also refused to tell me his name and show company identification. He seemed under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

We recently shipped our car to Hawaii and the experience was absolutely horrible. They never contact us for an update of the shipping status. On the receipt there is an estimated date for pickup and that is about the only date they give us. More than one time we had to call for an update and call again on that day to find out that the car was not ready.
This never-​care-​to-​update attitude is really affecting us financially. We have to rent a car while waiting for our car to get here. Because we always found out until the last moment that the car wasn’t ready, there is no way for us to book a car ahead to save a buck. They completely screwed our budget. They have been changing the date from the 11^th, 15^th, 18^th, 22^nd, and 23^rd (and we’re still waiting!) But what do they care? The only thing they said is that things happened and there is nothing they can do. Unless you have extra money to burn and you don’t care, I would recommend you to stay away from this company.
Update: We finally got our car. They didn’t even notify us like they said they would. The exterior of the car looked fine but the tires were not. 3 tires had very to extremely low pressure and 1 had extremely high pressure. I don’t believe this could happen unless somebody intentionally screwed up the tires. Again, AVOID this company if you can.

I was very impressed by Hawaii Car Transport’s customer service. Every time I emailed them I received a response (either phone call or email) on the same business day. They were patient and courteous with all of my questions. I have worked with other vehicle moving companies before, and was not so lucky. My vehicle was picked up within the week I requested, and was delivered in 2.5 weeks, which is very fast considering it went from NY to Hawaii. My only negative comment is they did not offer any military discounts, but their prices were competitive with other companies.

I was nervous about using this company based on the reviews but decided to take a chance since they had the most reasonable price to ship my car to North Carolina.
Dropped off my car July 28^th and I received my car one day before the estimated date of Aug 21^st.
Overall the service was better than expected based on previous reviews. My car didn’t have any damages and I appreciated the fact that my car was delivered early.
The only cons would be that the online tracker does not work and you’ll have to actually call to check on your car since they did not email me back.

It seems reading the reviews on here that HCT is hit or miss. Also people seem to ding them for not meeting their estimated delivery dates. Yes, they are a broker, they facilitate the port to port, or the port to door transport. Delivery estimates are estimates. Once the vehicle hits port, it’s at the mercy of the inspectors and agriculture. HCT changed a lot (for the better) from when I got my original quote, and when I finally received my vehicle. I was dealing with the HCT office out of Los Angles. At first the website was basic with a lot of broken links. After doing some research I found out that for my situation (port to door — Honolulu to Alabama), it didn’t matter who I chose — Matson, Pasha, or HCT, it’s all the same process. Your vehicle will be received at the same port as everyone else, travels on one of the same two boats everyone uses, and they will use a trucking company that all three companies bid on and use. That being said I went with HCT because they had the lowest quote $ 2075, which I didn’t pay a penny more. Matson direct was $ 2500, and Pasha was $ 2760.
Dropping my car of at the Matson port was easy. Filed the paperwork and got the car accepted in under an hour. Matson provided me with a shipping document and a control number for tracking the vessel.
Yes, HCT tracking service still seems to be broke, but that didn’t bother me much. Unlike other reviews, every time I contacted HCT via email, I had phone call response from them within the hour, sometimes minutes after I clicked send. It got to the point where I told them it was fine to respond via email. Always friendly, and always answered my questions. They updated me every step of the way and informed me that the online tracking was still having issues. By the time I made it stateside, their website had been revamped. No more broken links, and much more shipping information than before. Helpful links like lien holder letter examples, and comprehensive vehicle shipping checklists.
I dropped off my car on 13 July 15, and received it today 7 Aug 15. The trucking company called me four hours prior to arrival. Yes, it would have been nice to get a day or two heads up, but not enough for me to really gripe about it. Also, the truck couldn’t make it down my street, so the had to reposition to a church parking lot about a ¼ mile down the road. He did call to inform me of the change and did send me a pin drop of where he was. The car was in great shape, with just under a ¼ tank, and only one extra mile on the odometer. Of course the car was a little dirty from traveling from the west coast, but it was in the same condition as I had given it to them.
Overall, great communication, fair price, and fast delivery. It really seems that HCT was trying to change the image they had here on Unilocal.A lot of people said that unfortunately, after HCT got their money, that was the last they heard from them. Definitely not the case with me.

I recently used this service to ship my car from Honolulu, HI to Deville, LA. It was highly recommended by a friend. Unfortunately, I did not get experience she did!
I had dropped my car off to the port on June 1^st for the ship out date of June 6. I was then told that I would receive my truck at the latest June 27^th.
On June 26, I received a call saying that my truck wouldn’t arrive till July 8 because of a port change. I was then asked if I would be reimbursed for a car rental seeing as how I was expecting it 11 days sooner than the 8^th and I started work on July 1. The answer was NO.
July 8^th came. I called and they said that the driver will call 3 hours before drop off and the last drop off is 9pm. 6pm came and I called they said my truck had already been dropped off. I freaked out because I’ve been home all day waiting and no truck was delivered to me! They said they are going to investigate the situation and call me back within 30 minutes. 1.5 hours later I received no call back, so I called and they told me that there was miscommunication and the truck delivering my truck broke down on the way to deliver it to me and it will take a while to fix. And that I should expect my car by the 20^th instead. That’s 23 days after the original eta of my truck! Another 12 days I had to wait, more money on a rental!
On the 19^th, we finally got our truck! Come to find out from the driver, he picked up our truck in CALIFORNIA near the port! It was his first pick up before delivering 4 more vehicles to Florida. That meant, on the 8^th, my truck was nowhere near me to have made it by that date.
This company has given me so many runarounds! And when I’ve constantly asked about the ²⁴⁄₇ online tracking, everyone told me they would call me back with that information. No one ever had! Also, I had spent nearly $ 2000 of my own money to rent cars during the 23 days extra I had to wait for my car, no reimbursement, no refund, nothing. And I had already spent $ 2250 to ship it to me! I am completely unsatisfied with this company!

I just want to leave my experience for someone that is considering using this broker. My advice is DO NOT go with them. They have the worst customer service. If you want to ship your car anywhere just go directly with the shipping company.
I picked this company because of the reviews were good at the time. It was easy and everything.
I shipped my car from LA to Kahului on July 8^th. The company Hawaii Car Transport went with Matson. Matson has been wonderful and have been in contact with me during my whole process and were willing to reimburse money, but since I didn’t pay them directly they wouldn’t reimburse me anything. They say that they will reimburse Hawaii Car Transport some money so they could do the same with me, unfortunately Hawaii Car Transport refuse to accommodate anything with me. They said that it was in the Contract and couldn’t be held accountable for any delays. I didn’t really read the contract (which I’m at fault) but in my opinion if Matson is willing to reimburse you money you should reimburse the customer the same percentage they reimburse them.
My car was schedule to arrive to Kahului on July 21^st. There were two shipping errors and my car kept getting delayed. Now my car won’t get here until August 3^rd.
The worst thing is that from what I’ve been looking Hawaii Car Transport doesn’t care about reviews because they don’t offer responses to reviews or anything. I just hope people don’t use them. They might be cheaper but if anything happens they WILL NOT help you AT ALL!

I recently shipped my vehicle from Honolulu to Houston using Hawaii Car Transport. I’m gonna make this a pretty detailed review, and hopefully this helps someone who finds themselves just as lost and confused as I was while researching shipment options. :)
I guess I should just come out and say that my car arrived at my door in Texas in perfect condition. I washed it the day before delivering it to the port, and to my surprise it was still 90% clean. Just a little dirt from it’s trip on an open-​air truck from Los Angeles.
Even though I received my car in good condition and good time, there were a few issues I had with HCT. For one, their «²⁴⁄₇ online vehicle tracker» is fake. I’m totally convinced it’s not even real. They just advertise it so that you feel comfortable handing your car over to them. Only problem there is that you never actually hand your car over to them, just your money. I believe they COULD keep track of the vehicles, but they don’t. I put in more than one request to track my car’s whereabouts but never got a response.
Another gripe I have with HCT is the way they pretend to be a Hawaii based company. The listed hours of 7:00a — 5:00p Hawaii Standard Time are FALSE. They are based in NY. If they really are in their offices in NY from 7 – 5, that means someone in Hawaii would need to call them between the hours of 2:00am — 12:00pm, which isn’t a very big window for the average sleeper. If you really need to speak with someone after you’ve paid for your shipment, my advice would be to lie and say you are calling regarding a quote. As others have mentioned, they respond extremely quickly to online quote requests, but are suddenly hard to get into contact with once you’ve forked over the cash.
My original quote online was for $ 1875. This included shipping the vehicle to LA, and then having a truck drive it from LA to TX. I’m happy to report that this is the exact amount that I was charged. Not a cent more.
Something that you need to understand is that HCT is merely a broker. You’ll never see these people physically. They don’t have offices at the port where you’ll drop off/​pick up your car. HCT will also not be the trucking company which shows up to either pick up or drop off your vehicle. Basically, they are the people who will set up your reservations for you. They will use either Matson or Horizon, so feel free to skip the middle man and contact either company directly. The reason I didn’t do that is because I didn’t know how to contact a trucking company to pick my car up from the port, and wanted them to do that for me.
My car happened to be shipped using Matson. I was given instructions to drop my car off on Monday, June 22^nd so that it could make the ship scheduled to leave that Saturday, June 27^th. My experience with Matson was great. You’ll start by taking your paperwork to the office which is off to the left of the parking area to check in. Next you drive your car into the vehicle inspection area and check in with the folks in that office area. You’ll sign your car away and eventually will get called back outside to watch as someone inspects your vehicle for existing scratches and dents. This is to make sure you don’t blame them for blemishes they didn’t cause. You’ll get a copy of everything you signed as well as a copy of the vehicle inspection. After that, you’re free to go!
The trucking company that hauled my car over from Los Angeles was Davis Transport, and they were great as well. The driver called me the day before drop off to make sure I was available. This was on Sunday, July 11^th. Basically, it only took about 2 weeks after the actual shipment for my car to be delivered to me in Texas. This happens to be right on point with the approximate transit times listed on the HCT website, so just know that it IS possible for them to meet those estimates regardless of some of the horrible experiences that others had. One thing that happened with my driver is that he refused to turn into my neighborhood because he said the trees might scratch the cars up top. I really appreciated the fact that he was so concerned about not damaging any of the vehicles he was towing. He ended up pulling over on the highway a bit down the road, and then drove my car to my house. We dropped him back off to his truck, I signed a paper saying I received my car in good condition, and I was once again free to go! I tipped the driver $ 20. I don’t know if that’s a lot or a little. The only info I could find online was that it’s not required of course, but definitely appropriate if you feel they went the extra mile for you, which he did. He seemed appreciative which made me happy.

These people are very hard to get on the phone, first of all, unless you are wanting a quote, then they are right there for you. I called 4 – 6 times inquiring about the shipping dates and arrival dates of my car from Maui to Oakland. I was repeated told different stories and was repeated assured my car would arrive in 14 – 16 days. I questioned the person because when I had called several weeks before, I was told shipping was 21 days… he replied to me that things had changed and they were revising the schedules, arriving a week earlier now. I called to get a confirmation on changing my dates because I was assured of an arrival date. Last Friday, I dropped my car off at the port in Maui only to learn that my car would be arriving 21 days later, not 14 days later. Now I have no where to live for that extra week as I am moving out of my apartment and the lease is up on the 31^st of this month. I also have no car to get around as well. These people are NOT to be trusted; they lie and are not prompt in getting back to you for questions to be answered. Pay the extra $ 25.00 to Matson for a reliable shipper and honest people. Thank goodness I did not make a flight reservation, but now I have to pay to have a place to sleep for an extra week and a car rental during that week… Hawaii Car Transport is a scam!!! If I could give you NO stars rating, I would!!!
I just wish I’d have read some of the other very similar complaints before I let my car go with Hawaii Car Transport!!!
Hawaii Car Transport are you willing to put me up in a hotel for this week?

I was hoping this would have been a 5 star rating, in fact, they could still make up for their very poor customer service. We shipped our brand new Jeep from Seattle to Honolulu. Our scheduled pick up was for yesterday ⁷⁄₁₃ but only after inquiring about where to go did we learn that the jeep was not arriving until ⁷⁄₂₂. What makes this situation much worse is that we arranged everything from our home in Honolulu weeks before we flew to WA. When we were in Seattle for a family reunion and bought our jeep on our very first day of arrival. The people at Hawaii Car Transport were nice and professional during our booking and before they had our money and we even commented on how quick and smoothly the process was going. We were told that if we wanted the jeep on the ⁷⁄₅ ship we needed to deliver it to the port by ⁷⁄₂ before 3pm. If we didn’t meet this time/​date the jeep our be delayed until the next ship date ⁷⁄₁₁. We knew the importance of having the jeep arrive by the 13^th in HNL so we were committed to make the required times. In fact, we had to inconvenience and disrupt our reunion, make another trip to the port, pay for 3 day car rentals all to meet the date/​time requirements. We meticulously planned it out, incurring costs of easily $ 200 extra just on Seattle. Now, today, as I believe I am to pick up my jeep and very excited to do so, I am rudely and unprofessionally told that «there were delays» by their rep Andrea. No apology and compensation. She didn’t even seem to care when I pointed out their poor customer service. I guess they all already know how poor their service is with all the negative comments. We really wanted to give a good review. We truly did believe in their word and their service. Yes, problems happen, no company is perfect, but a good company will rise to a higher level and make it right. Even though they massively dropped the ball they had the opportunity to compensate for their shortcoming. At least credit us the cost of our rental car on both sides that we were charged because of your time and ship requirements.
To the management and the owners of Hawaii Car Transport — I will remove all negative yet truly stated social media posts and comments if you make this right. Option is yours!

These guys were incredibly helpful throughout the process. I got a call the same day I put in for my quote online, and the quoted price was accurate 4 months later when the shipment happened.
During the lead up to the trip everything was very hectic and I obviously wanted to make sure I had what I needed, so I called and they were able to answer my questions, no problem.
The car came over right on time and I had several days to pick it up before they would have had to charge me for storage. I don’t know if I am shipping a car back when we go back to the mainland, but if I do, I will be using these guys. Awesome service.

FRAUD! SCAM ALERT!
They promised me if my car was to the port by the 18^th it would ship on the 20^th. I arrived, as scheduled the 18^th and the people at the port said the cutoff was the 17^th. After several days of calling and sending e-​mails with no response, I finally got a hold of someone who said «it wasn’t their fault». First she said they weren’t notified of the port change until a week and a half before and then she said the day before. She claims that the port it was shipping from closed, and they had to use a different one, however, the booking e-​mail I got that had the address on it 2 weeks prior to shipping and the one I delivered it to were the same, so clearly it couldn’t have been a location issue. She later said that the dates on the e-​mail said «tentative» and I explained to her that tentative meant that it could be delayed in arriving not them giving me the wrong date to have it there on time to ship. Either way, not once did they call me or let me know or respond to my messages. They didn’t even call me to apologize when they knew there was an issue, but you know they charged me on the date I delivered it! She promised me a manager would call me back today when I spoke to her at 1:30pm because she was on the phone; however it is 8:50 and I received no return call.
Now due to 4^th of July holiday, I can’t get my car until July 7 instead of June 26^th as the promised. Meanwhile they have already charged me more than a week before my car shipped and I’m stuck paying for 13 extra days in rental car fees.
DO NOT USE THEM! THEY LIE AND TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT MAKE GOOD ON THEIR PROMISES OR MAKE THEIR MISTAKES RIGHT!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE IN THE MILITARY — they have the worst customer service I have experienced in my entire life, to include 14 years of active duty service. In addition, their communication skills are horrible — they rarely return emails, phone calls, or voicemails. Lastly, they are borderline unprofessional and illegal and may charge your credit card without authorization as they did mine.
Vinny was the first employee of this company I had issues with, who started the coordination of my car shipment from Hawaii to California. After confirmation of my payment method, he became completely unreachable, refusing to return my calls and voicemails. These calls were to close the loop on several important items, such as extended temporary storage at Oakland Port and vehicle transport from Oakland to my new home. Initially, he assured me this coordination would not be a problem and that they do things like this all the time to «support» their military customers. Unfortunately, it was a problem and I later found that he made no such arrangements. In his initial dialogue with me, Vinny also offered a transport company service from Oakland Port to my new home. However, when attempting to coordinate for this service, he was again unreachable and the one time I did reach him and reminded him of this service option he offered and my desires to pay for the service, he told me he «did not do that» and transferred me to his customer service office where I met Krysten Flanagan, the second employee (and worst) I worked with at Hawaii Car Transport.
At first, I thought Krysten would make up for Vinny & his company’s performance given her prompt communication & what appeared to be professional-​like coordination at the time. She, like Vinny, proved to be cut from the same cloth, but worse in so many more ways. To start, Krysten assured me that no payment would be drawn from my account for the transport of my car from Oakland to my new home until she contacted me for my credit card information — FALSE! To my surprise days after I sent my initial request via email to transport my car and get the process moving, I found a $ 370.00 charge to my credit card by her car transport company, Road Runner Auto. She also assured me that she would coordinate with Pasha (Oakland Port) and the car transport company (supposedly hired to move my vehicle from Oakland to my new home) to move my car into temporary storage at no cost to me and by a no later than date of 18 JUN 15 — ALSO FALSE. Up to the 18^th of June, no coordination had been made by Krysten and/​or her company to do anything of the sort, which I found out by Pasha’s Oakland Office calling me to ask why my car had not been picked up on 18 JUN 15. What was I doing up to the 18^th of JUN you may ask yourself? Sending numerous unanswered emails, making countless phone calls, and leaving voicemails with Krysten, «Customer Service», Hawaii Car Transport, trying to figure out what was going on with her, her company, and my car. After Pasha contacted me on the 18 JUN 15, I finally get a hold of Krysten on the phone who acted as though everything was normal, ignoring the glaring issues of a clear lack of communication and coordination to date, and attempting to assure me that everything is «good to go» with my car despite my informing her that everything was not «good to go» and my car was still in Oakland under the control of Pasha — a clear mistake and lack of services rendered by her and her company. At this point I simply asked her to complete two tasks — send me an email stating you acknowledge that I am no longer using your company’s services & refund my $ 370.00 in full so I can take care of my car myself — I am still waiting for that email confirmation to date.
With all these issues why not ask to speak to a manager you might ask? I tried — on 18 JUN 15 through Jessica A. from «Customer Service», Hawaii Car Transport, I requested to speak to a manager who could influence this situation and hold their employees accountable for their actions or lack thereof on 18 JUN 15. What happened you may ask? She connected me to her voicemail and I never once heard back from her or anyone from the management at Hawaii Car Transport to date.
My recommendation to those shipping a car from Hawaii — DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! Save yourself money & heartache, remove this middle-​man and pitiful excuse for a business, and contact Pasha shipping company directly (they actually saved me money after I fired Hawaii Car Transport). IF you’ve already contracted with Hawaii Car Transport, watch your bank accounts and what I’ve highlighted above, sorry for your troubles, & good luck! IF you are a manager/​owner of this company, I would love to speak to you about this experience/​review. I hope as managers and owners that you all will fix these issues in the future — your customers deserve better!

Ralph, the Marketing Director for Hawaii Car Transport reached out to me not long after I posted my Unilocal review about the issues I encountered. Ralph expressed his concern for my issue and even asked to hear more about my concerns. Ralph took care of the issue I had during my booking, but more importantly made me feel like my issue was important. I have not received my car yet which should come in this week. I will update my review if when I receive my car, it is anything less than a good experience.

We had multiple items stolen out of our glove box. But according to the contract they are not responsible for items not bolted down :(
We also had multiple dents and scratches to the exterior. When my husband picked up our Volvo he did not notice, as it’s generally my car. According to the contract if you don’t see the damage at the moment of pick up they are not responsible.
Upon entering the vehicle my husband noticed all the interior seats had been folded down and there were multiple indentations and scratches on the leather, as though something heavy had been placed in the vehicle during transport.
The tracking feature on their website does not work.
They do not guarantee the arrival date.
Once they have your vehicle and money they do not return e-​mails, and if you call to ask questions they are very short and rude with you.
I would recommend you look elsewhere for shipping your vehicle.

Shipped my car with HCT from Cali to Honolulu. Car sustained damage. Long story short:
HCT will only cover damages up to $ 1000.
Will not cover damage to wheels/​rims/​tires/​undercarriage.
THERE ARE OTHER CARRIERS THAT PROVIDE TOTAL DAMAGE COVERAGE FOR THE SAME PRICE.
I do give their claims department credit for being very responsive. That person is an excellent employee.
Conclusion:
If you have a $ 1000 car, by all means ship with them and have a nice day!

***BEWARE***
I shipped my car from Honolulu to Las Vegas over 3 weeks ago. For 3 days they’ve been telling me that the truck driver has my car and will call me with info for when he’ll drop the car off with me. I took it upon myself to contact the ocean freight company. Horizon informed me that the car has been in their lot, ready for pickup for a week and is still there. HCT NEVER PICKED MY CAR UP FROM THE PORT! It’s still in California!
I’ve never seen such terrible customer service in my life. They will not provide any information as to who has the car, who is responsible for transporting it or give any contact information. They keep telling me that they’ll call me back with information, but of course, that never happens.
DO NOT USE HAWAII CAR TRANSPORT!
3 Days after my original delivery date they finally decided to call me. They’ve informed me that it’s going to take them an additional 5 days to get my car from LA to Las Vegas (a 5 hour drive). I even talked with the driver that eventually dropped my car off. He said he had picked it up that same morning.
After my original post on Unilocal,I get a message saying that they want to have the customer relations manager contact me. This takes 2 days for him (Ralph) to email me. I explain the situation and tell him that I still don’t have my car. He never replies.
My new delivery date comes and goes. No call from the driver, no call from HCT. They are the absolute worst. Ralph has yet to reply to my email. Great management.
The following day, I get a call from a truck driver, telling me he has my car. The drop off goes smoothly (note that HCT has nothing to do with this portion of the service).
There is 1 scratch on the very top of the car, but it’s minor. There were also cat paw prints all over the hood, roof and trunk.
Hawaii Car Transport customer service or their manager has done NOTHING to try to make this better.
If there were a zero star rating, they’d get it. I’ve contacted the BBB and will be posting a complaint with them as well. Look at their complaints here:
Contact Madsen, Horizon or Pasha shipping directly and skip the HCT middle man. For you Hawaii locals, this is not a local business. Their customer service rep told me she lives and works in New York.
I repeat DO NOT use Hawaii Car Transport.

Long story short.
My car got dents on the trunk and body+oil stains on the roof during the transportation.
Hawaii Car Transport said they are not responsible all of sudden.
HCT gave me a number for some other company called «Ebro» to blame because they are the one really got my car transported.
and Hawaii Car Transport will be just a mediator and won’t do anything from now on.
WHAT? Okay…
I contacted insurance number that HCT provided, no one picks up.
HERE IS THE FUN PART!!!
Ebro’s driver calls me and said «„„„HE ONLY MAKES 2000 DOLLARS“““» and I should give him some discount on the damage. he said HE DOES NOT HAVE INSURANCE.

I called Nikki from customer service about this non-​sense, and she hangs up on me.
DO NOT TRANSPORT YOUR CAR FROM HERE!
IT IS A REAL NIGHTMARE.
I will recommend this place for my enemies.
