Typical pub fare. Wish the beer selection was better, although the server did make the extra effort to check for IPA’s, and found one! Great service for a nice dive bar.

I come here about once a quarter and amazed never reviewed it before now. What’s to say, hands down best all around breakfast on Oahu if you are looking for a honest to God Midwest greasy spoon diner sort of breakfast; I can’t speak to their other meals. I could be snarky and just start off with«They serve actual fried breakfast potatoes, not rice, what else do you need?» because let’s face it, this state has zero clue how to do breakfast starches. ranges from rice(God no) to pre-frozen potatoes reheated. In the grand scheme of things not the best potatoes I have had in my life but the last eight years of my life def second best(and only second to my ex’s home cooked ones). Other than the corn beef hash is proper(out a canned, fried), the eggs cooked in butter as they should be, toast is warm, and the irish coffee’s stiff; what’s not to love? As a bonus service is excellent and friendly(the waitress remembers my order every time I come and only come four times a year), parking easy(though not free), seating usually quick(don’t come on New Years day), and TBH never been disappointed, even my mainland friends when they visit love this place. Really the only reason I don’t come here more is it’s a heart attack waiting to happen :)

It’s a dive bar, it’s below the chart house and across from the Marina. The beers are cheap and the pizza and nachos are excellent. What more do you want? Tons of locals hang here during the 3pm-7pm happy hour… they’re extremely friendly and outgoing. If you’re looking for a fun, cheap, low key place for a few drinks and some decent pizza, this is it.

Ordered a pizza to go. Normally great pizza. Got home to the nastiest crap ever. Thick hard stale crust. No tomato sauce at all. Hardly any olives or meat and salad sliced tomatoes thrown in the box not even on top the pizza. I called the girl and asked what the hell. She said they might have a new cook employee. Waste of my money. Never go back or recommend that place again.

This is our new favorite place when staying at the Ilikai. The food is good. The drinks are great, and the customer service is exemplary. This isn’t the fanciest place but it feels like the friendly neighborhood pub. In fact, the waitresses remembered us from the day before. How cool is that?

Great pizza and super friendly patrons and staff. Even as a tourist(lone traveler?), I felt welcome here. This is definitely a «bar with good food». Wouldn’t call it family or kid friendly, but what downstairs bar is?(Did you ever see a child in Cheers?). Didn’t have more than pizza and beer, but came in twice during my visit and was super pleased both times.

Seriously one of the most bizarre restaurant experiences ever. We are flight crew for a major airline, someone suggested we go here for the Christmas meal special they were serving. So all NINE of us go to enjoy a good christmas meal. The waitress makes sure everyone orders the special because the«chef is incredible». When the meals arrive mine was number 3 served. The first thing I notice is there is maybe one ounce of Ham, the rest was a bunch of small pieces of FAT. Everyones else’s plate had nice long big strips of Ham. Now for the Twilight Zone part. I tell the waitress could she maybe bring a piece or two of the ham like everyone else was served. She took my plate went to the kitchen and then came back and said the Chef said«NO». The entire table was in shock. The waitress then spent the rest of the meal saying how she has no power and it wasn’t her fault(which really it wasn’t, but she could of insisted the cook give up a small piece of ham or maybe get the manager involved). She stated several times that she hoped we don’t hold the incident against her. On a side note the sides were all pretty good. When the bill came there was an extra meal on it(UNREAL, should of been one less). After several attempts to get the waitress(I think she thought we were going to stiff her at this point) to address our bill mistake, she went to the bar tender and came back and acted like she was doing us a favor and having it removed, WHAT? I was nothing but super polite, and never lost my temper or made a smart aleck remark. Even if the Chef would of thrown one small piece of ham it would of been fine, but to say«NO». It escapes how a Chef could be so thoughtless and have zero pride in his trade. Mind boggling. BTW we gave the Waitress a great trip anyways, after all it was Christmas. The photo is 90% of what I received as a Ham portion, it is all FAT… Needless to say I will NOT be back and make sure the several thousand flight crews whose layover hotel is right down the street are made aware of the customer service this place provides…

My 6 year would give this 100 stars best burger ever She had it tasted so good but doesn’t know why. My nine year old loved lemonade and gave the burger 4.5 stars. I had the turkey jalapeño sandwich was awesome and my wife had the barbecue pizza which was also great. Great place and our waitress Linda was very good Band started to play as we were leaving wish I could have stayed but the kiddos were delirious from the traveling

It’s not the smell of the marina that’s unappealing here, it’s the smell of wet, unclean carpet(or whatever that is). The beer sucks, the food sucks. The staff are friendly and mean well enough but you reeeeally have to be desperate for a drink to settle for this place. Delete.

I’m not sure where to begin here. This place is an odd little trip back in time with a cast of characters who work and frequent there. Totally non touristy feel, solid food and good drinks. Not overly pricey like other joints in Waiks. The ambience is divey, but definitely not gross. Think East Coast Greek Diner meets your grandmas beach house. Our server was older, and a pro. I honestly love an old server. They can read you like a book and show you all your hearts desires. Points added for all her service. She kept it real with us, saying me and my brunch date could share an eggs Bennie and order of toast and be good on food. She recommended sourdough toast(get it!!) to eat with the guava jelly. Then, she brought us 2 big free slices of coconut cake. Yup– she took good care of us. Great sense of humor, too. The crab eggs Bennie is a weekend special. The hollandaose sauce is fit for a king. I think if I ever go for a non breakfast meal, I might ask for a hollandaise milkshake. The English muffin was big and buttery to hold the real crab meat and perfectly cooked egg. The chef has skills cuz it was a 10 is you consider flavor and technique. I’ll be back…

All start off by saying great music on a Thursday night. Great food and service. But the kitchen is SLOW. Like slow. I waited 30 minutes for quesadillas. My friends were finished eating their hamburgers before I got my food. I feel really sorry for the wait staff here. Need to get food out faster. Recommendation stick to the burgers and pizzas they seam to get those out quicker.

I was a little hesitant about eating here since the reason we walked in was because the restaurant had a lady advertising the spot on the corner from our hotel. Ambiance — dive Service — attentive & given in a timely manner. Food — fresh & pleasing to the taste buds. My eggs were nice and fluffy, not undercook & not overcooked, just right. The sausage(I usually prefer links) wasn’t greasy or too spicy they tasted similar to links you’d typically get at your local diner. Potatoes were pretty bomb & a good serving size. Drinks — I had a guava mimosa that was prefect, refreshing and had the perfect mix of both the juice and champagne. Overall, this was a good experience. To be honest, it was actually a relief to dine at a restaurant in Hawaii that is your traditional breakfast joint without all the loco moco craze!

I love this place. People are diversified and interesting. Drinks are strong, and the band ‘Simplicity’ plays every Thursday night from 6 to 10pm.

Since my first few overly favorable experiences at this restaurant, I have had nothing but disappointments. The first time I thought was a fluke, but I realized that this place is just not worth coming to. Service is more or less awful. The wait staff never seem to have dedicated tables, which often lead to confusion and long wait times. Some of the staff is downright rude. The food is just not good. Sandwiches are small and taste fine. Pizzas taste like the frozen variety. On my last visit, the pizza took almost 45 minutes to come out and was hard as a rock with molten cheese. At the cost of the pizza, it was just extra salt in the wound. Also on my last visit, the entire place literally smelled like a toilet. I’m so confused how a place could fall so far.

My mom and I loved going here every morning for breakfast and at night for very delicious pizza! We do not like cheese on our pizza and at this place, you don’t even need cheese though I’m sure their cheese is great! Fresh toppings and a delicious crunchy crust and great hospitality from the servers! You can get half eggs Benedict too! We found it last time we visited 4 years ago and it’s just as yummy now! Great prices!

I stumbled upon this hole-in-the-ground little pub while hangry and wasn’t expecting much. Most of the people are there for daylight alcoholic beverages and sports on the TV so I was immediately out of my element. The menu is pretty extensive with lots of sandwiches, pizzas and burger choices so I went with the BBQ burger. They don’t have a frier so I got potato chips instead of fries. The taste was so-so. I could see how service here can be hit or miss if you’re there to eat because the servers are mostly focused on serving drinks.

Service was OK and the free tables were dirty with crumbs and stains(we needed to eat something real quick) so we were a little surprised that the food was actually really good! I had the turkey dip sandwich with a side salad and my guy had the Italian beef sandwich. Everything tasted great. My salad was fresh and tasty and the sandwiches were toasted and delicious. Place is pretty unassuming but the food’s worth the stop!

Ahoy! After a day of fishing the Pacific we decide to head to the Chart House! Mothers Day was celebrated in the morning, so we all agree, nothing fancy, please! We arrive in the late afternoon around 4pm-ish and the lone sandwich sign indicates that Chart House would be open at 5pm! One hour of waiting?! No way, Jose! So, we decide to head elsewhere for some drinks and food, but a second later we notice what looks like a tiny bar on the corner of the building! It boldly states«Pizza & Beer!» and«Happy Hour 4pm-7pm daily!» Arrrgh! After perusing the menu on the sea-salt weathered wall… We walk down into the damp basement and enter a place called… HARBORPUB&PIZZA! We are immediately greeted! The bar area is packed with what I assume are the regulars and a few lush tourists! Fortunately, a few tables are open! This pub is deceptive from the outside — looking smallish, but as you enter it opens up! Not square, but more like a pirate ship galley! Ding! Makes perfect sense since we’re on the harbor! Clever! We grab a circular booth, but then we’re advised«that booth» was taken! Scallywag! Hah? We were told… Anywhere, but not«that booth»! Umm okay, so we walk 10-steps Ewa to another booth which is exactly like the other. No hurt feelings, Mommy! We’re pirates! I quickly browse a few Unilocal reviews from RL friends & fellow pirates, Fran C., Krysten I., and Sheetal R. Arrrgh… We are handed the menus and immediately notice the awesome HH drink prices! Draft Light Beer to Primo at $ 2.50HH, others from $ 4.75 to Guinness $ 5.50HH! BUT the BEST deal is the Pabst Blue at only $ 1.50! Okay, my DNA is 100% Pirate, but for an hour or so, I decide I’m a skinny jeans Hipster and order the Pabst! You can also order by half pitchers and full pitchers, or bottled Beer, too! Great HH Beer Deals! Well Drinks and Wine run about $ 3+ and what catches my eye is the Mai Tai for $ 3.75HH! Definitely on my next visit will be a Mai Tai or two, Bucko! The Pizzas here seem to be all the rage! Ask Pirate Fran! My fisherman friend goes with Fran’s suggestion of the Taco Pizza! His«one-eyed» wife goes with the Nachos and Salad! Pirate with a Salad? Arrrgh! I was tempted with a Pizza, but I’ve had my share the past few weeks, so I instead decide to go with the Cheeseburger… The Cheeseburger was made with Angus Beef and I chose American Cheese. It came with Lettuce, Tomatoes, Maui Onions, a quarter of a Pickle, and three handfuls of local Potato Chips! Meee verdict? It was okay, but nothing screaming! The actual burger was smallish — another setback, but hey, I paid under $ 9 for this entrée! Aye, I inhaled it! Yet, I couldn’t stop thinking about the Pizzas here! Next time! Aye, I definitely recommend… HARBORPUB&PIZZA! This place is the ultimate dark & sticky dive bar! TBH for you dive bar purists… NO sticky! Whatever! I love it! Just the whole vibe about this place… On the Harbor, on the fringe of Waikiki, and with a ton of «fishy» characters! A place someone like«The Dos Equis Most Interesting Man in the World» might be hiding! Maybe Jack Sparrow! Maybe Irish Anne Bonny! Maybe Johnny Depp! Maybe? Aye, Maybe! Arrrgh! A wonderful place for Pirates, Wannabe Hemingway, and the like… And meee caught a fish as big as MOBYDICK! Thar She Blows! OVERALLGRADE: 4.1-STARS!(SOLID! The only real ding-a-ling is the parking situation…) UnilocalREVIEW452⁄500

Always nice service here in a mainstay of Ala Wai boat harbor since 1980 or so. Typical bar fare, burgers(always a good choice), sandwiches and such at reasonable prices. Though tourists do manage to stop in, the prices do not reflect the tourist gouge like many establishments around Waikiki. Fave of mine is the Jack Burger. If looking for something lighter, try the chili or the ½ Sandwich | ½ Soup or Salad option. Corn chowder here is quite good. If your thirst needs some quenching, time your visit to Happy Hour(starting at 3) where you will indeed find the best Happy Hour in the vicinity. 5 on HH. Cheers!

Did you check out the bar at the Modern and peeked into Club Addiction and decided it wasn’t really your scene? Über dropped you off there for $ 6 and don’t feel like calling another Über to take you back to Waikiki? No worries– walk across the street and you’ll find Harbor Pub! Wear whatever you want, drop the snooty club-ish attitude and enjoy yourself. They have a full bar– from beer to Buttery Nipple shots, order whatever you want! Have great conversations with your friends, since it’s not super loud with crazy background music. I haven’t tried the food but I hear their pizzas are good! If you drove yourself, you can park at the Modern garage lot for $ 7 for 10 hours. Pretty good deal!

I had a very bad experience in this bar. I found lots of big bugs while I was eating my pizza. I immediately left the place.
