If negative stars were an option I’d fully do it. I’m a fan of Herbich. This review is for his TERRIBLE office staff. One elderly lady in particular, kind of thin in a sickly way. Lots of work done on her face. Cannot recall her name but from the Honolulu office. She gave me THE WORST TIME ever. I needed help with documents after I had my visit with Herbich. She had nasty and snide remarks for me and was unwilling to help me get the paper work filled out that she was obligated to. This was at least 2 years ago, I know its silly I took forever to write this comment, but clearly I will never forget.

Dr. Herbich is amazing. I just love him. He’s so talented. His boob jobs will change your life. I recommend him to all of my family and friends.

Dr Herbich is a great doctor and i would recommend him to anyone. He may not be the most chatty or personable, but he knows what he’s doing and is committed to helping his patients.
I’ve seen him for years and have complete confidence in him.
He is also very reasonable and doesn’t over charge me or try to talk me into doing more or buying products.

By far one of the best doctors in Honolulu. Beautiful facilities, Amazing staff, fast friendly & affordable services, easy parking. Dr Herbich is a treasure, I have been seeing him for 20 years & travel from California for his services.

Patient of Dr Greg Herbich for 18 years. Great doc and professional staff. Located in the heart if town with free validated parking. My whole family sees him and most if my friends too. He does great work and I trust him. He is kind, funny, and very compassionate to his patients. 18 years should be a clear indication of how good he is. I will continue to be a loyal patient.
Just saw doc yesterday got a peel and couple other things. Very very happy with the results! Thank you Dr Herbich and Alicia you are the bomb. After all I’ve been through these past couple months I’m glad something good came out if this. I’m very happy and we even talked about what I can do about my issue and suggested other people I should see. I will definitely take on his suggestions and see the surgeons he told me to.

Amazing Dr and staff! They are very welcoming. I went in for a tattoo removal and after only 2 sessions my large ugly black tattoo is 60% lighter and 0 scars. I’m truly pleased and so excited. Mari who works there is also very sweet and talks with you the whole time to let your mind get off the pain. Prices are also very very reasonable

I went to see Dr Herbich several times & I cannot say enough fabulous things about this Dr.
He is kind, very smart, & funny. His education is quite extensive & impressive. Living on Maui for many years I have seen a lot of Dr’s. come & go it is sometimes hard to find someone that you feel comfortable with & I am so glad I was able to find him!
Dr. Herbich has done a few procedures on me but the one that stuck out to me the most was a mole that I had on my stomach, he looked at it & with one look he said lets take it off now! Unknowingly it was precancerous, many other Dr’s. brushed it off as just a regular mole, this mole could of led to a very bad situation if left undetected.
I liked the fact that there was no hesitation which left me with a confidence in him.
I found that Dr Herbich is very thorough when doing any procedures including cosmetic. Having lived on Maui for so long you really get to know who really loves what they do which then overflows to the client/​patient relationship.
Having trust in a Dr. is so important.
I highly recommend Dr. Herbich he really knows & loves his job!

Great Doc!
Staff is friendly and inviting, even if they’re busy. The office is modern and comfortable, and easily accessible. Im not sure if theres a parking garage or not, there are always empty meters fairly close.
Ive never sat in waiting room longer than 5 minutes before being called, and they don’t stick you in a room and ask you to wait for the Doctor forever either. Its pretty straight forward and efficient.
I like the Doctor, I think he’s very nice. He does a GREAT job and his prices are actually very competitive.

I would give this guy a negative star if it existed.
I had a laser treatment done on my body and I was very worried about it because talking to Dr herbich was not very comforting. He did not offer any insight of the trwatment, the way it was going to go down or the treatment I needed after the procedure. He just said yeah come in and I can do it.
When I came in he had me in the room alone until he came in and just started injecting needles in me to numb the pain. Then all of a sudden he says, «are you ready». He was not sure exactly where to perform the treatment he just starting going for it. He then did a whole spot around the actual area needed and then he just goes to town on me.
His machine was not working properly and he ended up hurting me and when I said ouch he said sorry its the machine.
When the procedure was over the doctor (her…bich) left the room and I was left with a horrible pain and it looked like a disaster. The area was totally bruised and bloody and gnarly. He didnt patch it up, he just told his assistant to put some vaseline on it.
I was so embarrassed to even leave his office cause this was on my face. When I came out to his loby everyone in the waiting room was looking at me like I was some freak. I was sore for 3 weeks, couldnt go to work and was not given proper instructions on how to take care of the area treated.
Then months later when it all healed up I relized that it was scared. I called her… bich up and complained about my scare and telling him that he only made it worse. Then he asked what color the scar was and I replied red. He said to come back in so he could use another laser to remove the red scar… I said no freakin way man! I am not coming near you or your lasers.
Also when I came in for that first consulting, I saw this poor girl with a really bruised up face after she had some shots done for who knows what and she seemed completely scared and looked panicked. She was also embarrassed to leave his office and face the lobby cause her face was totally deformed.
Ill be honest here folks, at first glance you see a nice web site and a prestigious address and you think yeah this looks good. DONT BE FOOLED! This guy is a scary ass doctor who doesnt care about any bodybut his reputation of being a «plastic surgeon». He hits on his patients and talks to these girls like they are a piece of meet wanting to give them breast implants and then date them after cause he thinks he is cool.
Stay away for what ever reason. Do your research and seek real doctors on island or off and get the right treatment done at the right place. You are the one who has to live with the result after not him. He just cashes in and makes bank, he doesn’t care about his patients unless you are a hot blond getting breast implants and want to go on a date with him.

I went here 8 years ago when Unilocal was not around yet. He was the only plastic surgeon who accepted my request to do eye brow tattoo removal and therefor I am forever grateful to him. I did tattoo for eyebrow looong time ago in my twenties and regretted. That time thick eyebrow was in and when I got older the tattoo change the color. It becoming greenish bluish. To make thing worst, it’s also bleed inside the skin. So 2006 I found him and did eyebrow tattoo removal. He is a very smart guy. He is kind of quiet. He asked me question and also answer my question and concern. I had 4 sessions with him and he actually told me to do 2 more. I should listen to him tho to do 2 more time but that time my money was only enough to do 4 session and I was happy with the result. My thick stupid big blue eye brow become smaller dan lighter. Now I can easily draw them with eyebrow pencil. The bleeds also gone. Thank you Dr. Herbich. Although you might not remember me, I’ll always be remember you as the guy who fix my eyebrow tattoo.

Always with a warm welcome feeling soon as you walk in the door ! Great staff; I’ve done 5 sessions of my tatt removal and it was painless … Well possible made by the numbing shot they give u prior … Than it’s all painless after that ! …

I Went to doctor Herbich, for injection Radiesse on nose.

I understand in plastic surgery not everyone is always satisfied. It’s usually your body reacting to the surgery, not the dr per say. Herbich does great work and I’ve referred dozens of girls to him and each of them were satisfied. I had a gf who had 3 implant problems before and she had some more issues. But again, this is her issue with rejecting the implants, not the quality of work of the dr. I asked many questions out of concern and my questions were always answered, in fact he gave his professional suggestions and I listened and am glad that I did. Surgery is uncomfortable, botox is uncomfortable, laser removal is uncomfortable. If you’re not up for it, don’t complain about it. It’s like when I get tattoos. If I sat on the table and complained the whole time, my tattoo artist would go crazy. He has to keep a steady hand and work fast, so there is no «gentle» way to get it done. He even recommended I put retinol on my breasts after I had my daughter to minimize the stretch marks from breast feeding. I have no stretch marks, if you can see, I am a bikini model and thanks to herbich have the most perfect breasts. On a daily basis I am asked if they are real because you really can’t tell the difference. Amazing work, worth every dollar!

If you’re interested in tattoo removal you should see Dr. Herbich. I’ve been seeing him for the past year and had a total of four treatments so far. I’m not sure how many more I will need but I’ve definitely seen great results so far. My dads coworker recommended that I see Dr. Herbich and I read the reviews on Unilocal before making an appointment. I have to admit I was a little nervous after what other people wrote about him but I’ve had a completely different experience with him. He hits the tattoo with the laser twice in one session but he is careful not to overdo it and cause scarring. He doesn’t promise results he can’t give you and he doesn’t let you come back for another appointment too soon because you need to wait six to eight weeks for the best results from each treatment. His prices are incredibly reasonable and I feel like he does his best to have the client get the most for their money. Dr. Herbich is very gentle and friendly while performing the procedure. His staff is also nice and his office is a really comfortable environment.
As for the procedure itself, he numbs the area which is obviously not totally pain free, but it’s tolerable, especially considering you’ve already experienced needles going into your skin in the exact same area. The lasering however IS completely pain free. The area is completely numb and you cannot feel a thing. After the numbing wares off, it feels like a burn… because it is… but after a few days, it begins to heal. It can become a little itchy by the end of the week.

I am a longtime past patient of Dr. Herbich’s and he has always done a great job for me. I’ve had laser procedures done for tattoo removal and hair removal as well as salicylic acid peels and I am very happy with the results of everything he has done. Recently my mom went to see him for a bothersome lesion on the top of her head that was not healing. She had previously been to 2 other derms who prescribed her treatments that were ineffective. Dr. Herbich went straight to the root of the problem and excised the area because the wound had been festering. My mom reports that everything is healing well and Dr. Herbich was very careful to trim the least amount of hair possible. I’m very grateful for this as my mom has been suffering with this problem for over 1−½ years. He may not be the most talkative or outgoing doctor but he knows what he is doing and that’s all that matters.

If there was a ZERO STAR option, I would choose that.
Herbich runs ads on the Maui radio for free consults, so I schedule. Building looks like apartments in Wailuku, no signs outside. I walk in and start sneezing, apologizing for being allergic to dust. I can hear the receptionist calling the cleaning lady in (he-​he). Filled out paperwork, the gal before me gets to go in 15 min late. The gal after me busts in, saying she’s in a hurry for her «one cc» of botox, gotta have it NOW. Herbich tells her I am first. She asks me if she can go in FIRST (I am already 30 min past my appointment time). I said no (kids waiting for mommy). Herbich brings me back, no eye contact, and goes to the other room to see the botox chick FIRST.
I picked up my paperwork and left. He wasted 40 min of my life.
BUT I didn’t leave because he was unprofessional in treating me. His «office» is scary — dust EVERYWHERE and ancient look to it. Busted up table in the waiting area, just gross feel to the whole «business». $ 500 could remodel his «office» to make it look appealing. His «operatory» is basically a back room, full of half-​used viles and dusty boxes of breast implants on the floor. I NEVER saw anything like that, even in a third world country. Oh, by the way, I am a healthcare provider, too. There was no SINK in his op, and I didn’t see him wash his hands. BEWARE! STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY!
PS. while I waited in the front, the receptionist and the nurse kept talking about the «other» jobs they applied for. And, the botox chick picked up the schedule list from the receptionist’s desk. After I called her out on HIPPA privacy protection she’s violating, she said she works there. Whatever.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Herbich since 2007. I feel that Dr. Herbich might be on some sort of pain medication. He seems to be zone-​ing out when I’m talking to him. Overall I never had to do any sort of major treatment with him but just refills for my acne medication. I feel he is better than (Dr. McKinlay next door)

My wait time was a bit long, but Dr. Herbich is a busy guy, so no big deal.
I came to Dr. Herbich to get a tattoo removed, a pretty big one too. He looked it over carefully and asked me if I would like to be sedated for the procedure. He gave me a shot and I felt good and relaxed afterwards. His nurse injected lidocaine in several places around the tattoo to take the edge off.
Dr. Herbich began the laser removal and it was virtually painless. It was great! He was lighthanded, careful, didn’t rush, and we chatted the whole time.
I don’t understand all these other ratings and why they are so bad. He may not be the most chipper guy on the planet, but I happen to like his no nonsense personality. He’s not mean or anything. He was very gentle with me and I trust his work.

I really like coming here for my monthly shots on my face. I’d must admit it was pretty painful and I always tear when I get them but it really works. My acne disappears the next day.
After the shots he always offers to help me do other treatments such as scar removal but he doesn’t tell me how much it is or how it works. He just walks out of the room before I could respond. He is no where to be found (maybe he went in his office or with another patient) so I just sit in the room wondering if he is going to come back or should I just let myself out? I just usually let my self out and make a following appointment. even thought he didn’t tell me to do so.
He is a really cool guy that’s been all over the world so if you need tips when your traveling you should definitely ask him. Other reviewers says he is not a people person but you just have to talk about the right topics. If you ask a lot of questions he would also be more than happy to answer them. He is really smart and got his medical degree when he was only 25 years old.
The wait is usually pretty quick unlike some other doctors offices I’ve visited where I had to wait an hour after my appointment time to see the doctor. The most I’ve ever waited at Dr. Herbich office is 5 minutes after my appointment time. I would recommend him over most of the dermatologist I have been to.
