In my opinion Mr. Greg Ryan has excellent knowledge of the law, supreme intelligence, upstanding character, superb communication skills and a perfect temperament; which all make him an excellent attorney. I only wish I found him almost six years ago at the start of my divorce. Mr. Ryan took over the mess of my contentious divorce and saved me at least another three years of litigation with his accurate and realistic forecast and council. Mr. Ryan is a brilliant litigator. I had an attorney prior to Mr. Ryan who took me to court over two dozen times and filed many useless exhibits. Mr. Ryan does the opposite; he has incredible focus on the issues as dictated by the law. I recommend Mr. Ryan to anyone who is going through an unfortunate situation. Mr. Ryan made my situation and the process better, not worse.

I met Emma for a trial THE NEXT DAY!!! She wrote an organized and clear response to the summons that really expressed the points I needed to convey, which I might have not been able to do with eloquence given the extreme time constraint that this case was somehow able to come before a judge on. I am so grateful for Emma!!! Wow! She called herself «a pushy Jewish lady» and that’s exactly what I needed to defend me. She did a great job and the parties were able to reach an agreement. Emma operates from a place of goodness and it was immediately obvious that she cared and it was about more than just the money. She helped a lot if people as this outcome affects a lot of people. Obviously, I hoped to never need the services of a divorce lawyer in Hawai’i. But, when it became necessary, I was lucky that a friend referred me to Greg Ryan. From my first meeting with Mr. Ryan and Ms. Emma Littman Baker (who would subsequently handle the details of my case), I knew I had found the legal allies that I would need to successfully navigate through the divorce. Ms. Baker was professional but empathetic throughout the drawn-​out process. She is knowledgeable about military divorce law and worked hard to ensure I received my legal entitlements. Ms. Baker was prompt to return calls or e-​mails, as well as thorough in the writing and editing of the divorce decree. When communication between my ex-​husband became strained and dysfunctional, Ms. Baker served as a fair go-​between to finish the details of the divorce. As evidence of her professionalism, Ms. Baker also helped to draft and file qualifying orders that DFAS needed, even though the actual divorce was finalized and she was under no obligation to help me with me case. I know that I could not have survived the agony of a divorce without the legal guidance and support of Ms. Baker and her fantastic team. Emma Littman Baker handled my divorce case that was a nightmare for me. She made it completely bearable and was impressive in resolving all issues. She caught errors in my ex-husband’s forms I did not even notice!!! This made a huge difference in the settlement! I hired Emma Littman Baker out of Greg Ryan’s office for my divorce case. The case lasted over 2.5 years, and I jokingly say that she was the only reason I kept my sanity throughout the entire process. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and handling of every little situation was worth every single penny I had to pay over those few years while my divorce dragged on in the courts and my x husband refused to make things right for his adulterous behavior. In a place where you do not want to be alone, Family Court, Donna has been by my side every step of the way. I truly believe that she cares about the outcome of my case, and for that I am eternally grateful.

If I could use just one word to sum up my experience with Greg Ryan as my attorney it would be AWESOME. Trying to deal with my ex made me more than a little nuts. Mr Greg Ryan is a very personable, warm, welcoming attorney that truly LISTENS to your concerns.
He is very humble and attentive to your concerns, addresses them in very easy to understand terms, gave us much insight into the pros and cons of our situation where my husband is facing problems with his ex.
He even generously counseled me for my concerns with MY ex regarding retirement funds and instructed me as to what steps to take when I’ll need his services in the future!
