Flowers For You

I forgot it was my Aunts Birthday and needed flowers right away. Got a hold of James from Flowers by You and he was so nice to text me a pic of an already made arrangement similar to one I really liked on their Unilocal pics. He was excited to text me and was more excited when I liked it.
He was even able to walk the flowers over to my aunt since he was nearby. This flower shop is now a lifer for me and will always turn to them for anything because of their over the top service.
My panicked experience in locating a flower shop turned into a great experience.

Jan was referred to me by several friends. I finally used her for a grand opening arrangement that I sent to a customer and it looked good! She got it delivered to Kailua on with just 3 days notice. I will use her for all of my arrangements moving forward. Very professional, great work, friendly service, and at a reasonable price.

Great family owned business that has been around for a long time! I just got flower from them this past valentines and they did not disappoint! I will be back again!

Jan has been bringing happiness to the tenants of the Amfac and now Topa Financial Center for 25+ years. Her designs are beautiful and she always offers only the best quality flowers and gifts.
They don’t really deliver outside of Honolulu but they are your best bet for a surprise delivery to your sweetheart working in Downtown. Don’t worry, they DO NOT charge for expedited or guaranteed delivery. In fact, they are not affiliated with an online or telephone floral service. When you call, you will either talk to Jan or her elderly Mother, who doesn’t speak good English. It’s basically just Jan running the business herself. In fact, Jan or her personal friends do the deliveries themselves!
Flowers for You is pricey! Don’t expect Home Depot or University Avenue florist prices! Jan uses premium flowers and vases and although the prices are higher, you’ll be getting great quality flowers arranged by someone with 30+ years of floral experience and will be supporting a single grandmother’s small business. To me, that’s worth the extra $ 5 – 10.

OMG, Flowers for you SAVED THE DAY! I was so busy on Valentine’s Day I had to get something last minute. They stayed open late just for me. The arrangement was amazing and the gf was stoked. Their service is great and the price very reasonable. Even though downtown is busy, there is usually street parking where you can run in and pickup your flowers, which is what I did. Took me 5 min, in and out. Thank you!!!

HELL NO! Went in this morning and asked them if they sell single stem roses, the old lady replied YES! I said ok can u guys deliver Upstairs to my wife and ill pay whatever cost.
She tells «YOU MAKE IT HARD» not even looking at me. You can be more cordial. So I said «Never Mind, what’s this place called flowers by you».
Never will I be stepping in this business again. They dont know how to treat a customer and trust me word will travel. Lucky you get one star from me brcause tou obviously deserve No Stars.

100% unreliable, i ordered flowers for my wife’s birthday at 8:00 am, paid extra for guaranteed expedited delivery before noon but the flowers never arrived even after at 5:00 PM. I called to check on the status at 2:00 PM, they told me that the flowers were on route but they never made to my wife’s office by 5:00. They completely lied to my my face! When I called at 5:00, I was told that the agent was going to try to call the florist the next day to check on the status and get to get delivered the next day… like if they would magically change my wife’s birthday by one day! WTF! The worst part, they offered me a 20% discount for being late… Yeah like that’s going to make up for it…
Stay away from this place, there are plenty of other online websites for flowers at the same cost! Bad business practice and horrible costumer service!

Sitting here studying I was thinking about this past week and the flowers I ordered and sent out to my special someone this past week. I’ve been ordering flowers from this flower shop for over three years now and not once have they disappoint me. I’ve never even seen the flowers or even know what the shop looks like. But it was the closest shop I could find on google near the area of Honolulu, where my love works. Which was hard to do from Iraq at the time I found this great flower shop. I’ve been satisfied ever since. And since they made the special effort of texting me a picture this time of what they sent out I’m taking out the effort to write about them.
Personally, in short it works out kind of like this, I think of my love, I call up the flower shop, the very helpful Jen with an asian accent usually answers, forgive me if that’s not how to spell her name but Jen already knows me by phone only. She even asks me sending flowers to «her» again, lol. Continuing I either tell her what I need sent or ask her what’s nice today and if she can place some meaningful orchids or roses or all roses depending on the occasion which are for the most part spontaneous. At times I’m asked what I’d like to spend or Jen offers what I can get on a deal for how much I’ve spent. She let’s me know what she can put together for me. The deal is closed and the flowers go out. I’ll anxiously call back to find out if they were delivered. She’ll confirm and a moment is born in my relationship.
I’d like to express my gratitude for the outstanding service. I’m not rating spending here because they’re gifted moments I’m buying and I believe I’ve received my money’s worth.
On a funny joking note I offered to work their part time so that I can deliver anytime to my love. They laughed! :)
