History

Established in 2007.

Exquisite Hawaiian Weddings is the vision of it’s owner Jana Heetland to bring a fresh identity and modern seduction to both local and destination clients from all over the world. We want to show the world that Hawaii is a both a picture of timeless, classic elegance as well as an innovator in the world of weddings and other types of events. By constanly searching the globe for the latest ideas and exciting ways of producing and executing our events, we appeal to even the most savvy world traveler. We began as strictly a planning and coordinating company and after the first few years realized the need for a more contemporary vibe and visionary to bring what was going on in the rest of the world to our little islands in the event world. So now we have branched out have started our own in — house flower and design team. By combining these two very important facets of the business together we work closely with each client in order to do whatever it takes to bring your vision to life

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Jana Heetland began her role in the event planning industry as an in house banquet coordinator for some of California’s most successful restaurant establishments. She then set out to take on more than just the restaurant business and moved into a position as a wedding coordinator for a well known wedding and event planning firm in Newport Beach, CA. During her time there Jana honed her planning skills by hosting and coordinating events on large private yachts with with elite clientele. She has worked with such firms at Quiksilver, Hurley, Deloitte and Touché, Charles Schwab, and many more.

She moved from California to Hawaii in 2006 and started what is known today as Exquisite Hawaiian Weddings and her newer entity Exquisite Design Hawaii. She found her passion for design and in being the person who actually creates the beautiful décor for her events approx. 3 years ago and had since then been both coordinator and designer for all of her events.
