Hydro Flasks are great, but a PERSONALIZED one of a kind Hydro Flask is AMAZING! From the basement depths of Waterfront Tower (who knew there were office spaces down there?) works a creative genius known as Doc Rock. He helped me transform what existed only in my mind, into an awesome personalized gift for a dear friend. And we had a lot of fun while doing it! HIGHLY recommended! (He does more than just Flasks too!)

Doc was wonderful! I had a brushed stainless steal knife that I wanted engraved for my boyfriend and he picked the perfect size lettering and flawlessly didn’t make a scratch on the metal. Also it was pretty cool when I was picking it up I noticed he has a 3D printer and was creating a custom GoPro mount! Truly amazing and professional!

Doc has a little room in a big building! Didnt know i had to make an appointment, but he squeezed me in right away. Really nice and funny guy. He doesnt have a book of pics so he goes off of your ideas or he can come up with something youd like. When I go back to HI id definitely go to him to get something etched!

First off, Doc is the man. He is very helpful and accommodating in making sure you are happy with the design you’ve selected, and making any tweaks to it as needed. For $ 25 you can personalize your hydro flask with any design you like. Images need to be in Vector Art (.EPS) although he can convert an image if it’s large enough. This makes for a great souvenir or gift. Highly recommended. He can also laser engrave just about anything, as we saw by the various items in his workspace. Thanks Doc!

Doc helped me pick out a font and add a design, while walking me through the process. I’ve got nothing but praise for the work that he does.
I had a Hydroflask engraved here as a gift, and the end result was brilliant.
Unfortunately, now I’m thinking of getting one for myself so I can have it engraved here too.
I’ll certainly be back if I need something engraved in the future.

The best gift ideas are the personalized ones. I had a lot of hydroflasks gifted to me for Christmas and I wanted to keep them all because I love the mint colors. Since more people at work have the same color I decided to look around to see if I can get some stickers or what to make it prettier and personalize it. Looked around Unilocal for places that sell stickers or did engraving and came upon Etched Aloha. I wanted to do something special for my sister’s birthday and figured this would be an awesome idea, might as well get her gifts and my hydroflasks personalized. I emailed the address listed and got an appointment with Doc the very next day.
He was so awesome in creating something I thought of and making it 10 times better. I’m so motivated to drink more water to show off his creation. Service was awesome and you can pick his brain about Starwars too:) Great service and awesome products. It was so awesome I’m getting the rest of my flasks Etched Aloha:)

I don’t even know where to begin to rave about the work that Etched did on the hydro flasks that I requested to have done for my girls basketball team! The craftsmanship was beyond amazing and both Karen and Shawn were so easy to work with.
I’m from the mainland and they assured me that my order wouldn’t be a problem at all. They are great at communicating and answered all my questions that I had. They kept me updated through the whole process and got the bottles done in a timely manner! Not to mention the price was fair too. My team absolutely loved the work!

I want to thank Karen and Doc for the great etching on a cheese tray. Doc spent quite a bit of time from an actual picture and made it so it would come out on the glass just right. The love, passion, and natural curiosity and creativity of «Doc Rock» will make you want to engrave EVERYTHING. If you were one of those people who fell in love with label makers, spending time at Etched will inspire you in a million different ways. From the classics (phone cases and metal drink flasks) to wood veneer notebook covers to koa bowls, almost anything goes. Names, logos, illustrations, it’s fun to imagine the possibilities.
He also generously supported my company’s holiday service project, helping us engrave donated flasks for homeless children in Waianae. A good man who supports a good cause!

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. 10 even! I had a rush job because we were sitting on the design fence for entirely too long! But Doc was awesome — and managed to come through for us, which enabled my manager to pass out the gifts at the holiday party. Yay us! And of course the quality was amazing — we were very pleased!
Both Doc and his dad were just beautiful people — super busy, but not too busy to be kind. There is a lot of aloha at Etched Aloha — check them out and see!

Needed a stethoscope and a hydroflask engraved becuase both of my old ones grew legs and walked away at work :-(
I decided that I needed to put my name on em, but I didn’t want it done with a sharpie, so I went to etched aloha. They did an awesome job for both! Saw «doc» and he was very kind and helpful. Got my full name on the bottle, and the stethoscope got my initials on one side of the neck and a first initial and last name on the other side of the neck.
Highly recommended, 10/​10, I will come back again for future engraving needs :-D

Doc is the man! He created a beautiful, clean engraved design/​logo on Veneer Wood for my company. (Note: many other engraving companies turned us down before, because they had never engraved on Veneer Wood before and were not even willing to try) Once we found Etched Aloha, we knew we could rely on him to get the job done. Not only did he engrave but he always cut, glued the veneer together and applied an oil finish on every single piece! It was nice to work with someone who truly is a craftsman and artist and not afraid to create something new! Also, when it comes to last minute orders, Doc never hesitated to get it done and always made our crazy deadlines. Great Quality, Outstanding Customer Services! We will continue to do business with his company!

These guys are top notch! I needed some last minute water flask etched and they came through with flying colors!
