June is the best! Came in for the first time with a picture of what I was looking for. She was really attentive and did a thorough consultation with me. Every step of the process she made sure to let me know what she was doing. Being a first time client at this salon, keeping me informed made me feel a lot more comfortable. The end result was exactly what I was looking for. Would definitely recommend.

I had the BEST experience with JUNE as my stylist. She is very tuned in to her customer to assure their utmost comfort. She greeted me right away, & offered me a refreshment, while assessing my hair color. She took great care in selecting my color, & worked quickly putting in the foils for my blonde highlights, which turned out beautiful. As mentioned by others, the shampoo station is amazing — very relaxing — & June did a fabulous shampoo & head massage. Ahhh… :-) She then styled my hair super cute, taking the time to teach me how to use a round brush. Mahalo, June!

Had a just a haircut with Kiara who was awesome :). Great cut and very relaxing atmosphere. I’m not a talker while having my hair styled, and thankfully, Kiara picked up on that and let me enjoy the peaceful atmosphere while she worked her magic. Will be back :)

Needed a haircut so decided to see what Unilocal recommended. It shows that this place was open so decided to give them a try. Got there and there was an employee inside but door was locked. They did nothing but sit in chair, not even attempted to open door and say at least sorry we are closed and our hours are incorrect if that is the case. Nothing to Envy here!!!

Gina is the best colorist ever! She made an A-​line cut blue-​purple-​light purple bayalage. Everyone complements my hair.

Sky is the best! She is hands down a professional and you will look good when you leave the salon. The true test is that you will look good several weeks later. Book early because word is out that she is an expert!

Before Envy I had more than a foot long of hair that was unruly and colored so horribly. I wanted something new so I booked an appointment with the fantastic Ms. June and she turned my hair from a horrible mess to a sleek A-​line bob. I’m in love with the cut and the color!

June was so sweet and she did a great job cutting my long hair to a long bob. Definitely would recommend her! The salon’s washing station is great as well!

Gina, Wooowow! She is AMAZING, TALENTED hair stylist! Can’t believe it! Every time I visit Hawaii, she change me to sexy, beautiful, and confident woman. I have so many compliments from people when I come back home to Chicago. Even grocery markets, cashiers gave me compliments, How Awesome!!! A total stranger on the street walking and saw me said, «Om goodness, you look great!1» My friends so envy my hair style, said «I look sooooo cute and soooo pretty!!»

I have been going to Kiara at Envy Hair Salon for years. I love her styles, color, and customer service. Her prices are reasonable for Honolulu, and she can always squeeze you in. I have recommended at least 5 friends, and they all loved her just as much!

I just made my appointment with Gina. Making appointments with her are so easy using her phone/​mobile app that she has. Just open the app and schedule. It will add it to your calendar and even send you a confirmation reminder a couple of days before your appointment. Gina is such a fabulous stylist and I am so lucky and happy to be her client. From touching up your roots, full and partial highlights, to a unbelievable cut and style, she does it all! The best thing is that Gina is such a warm, kind and caring person. What more could you ask for? I would recommend her highly to anyone looking for a new stylist!

No words can explain how amazing Sky is! My wife and I will only see her!!! Thank you sky for always making me feel amazing! If you need or want a touch up, cut, color… Whatever it may be, sky should be your #1 choice! She becomes more than just your hair stylist… She becomes a friend you trust with your hair! Not only she loves what she is doing, knows what she is doing, but she catches up all the new styles by taking world famous stylists’ seminars and classes! Sure, she is busy and flies every where. But, if you contact her, she will do her best to arrange her time with you. That is how I did! She is loving, caring and fun hair professional you want to have.
Sky and I are known for more than 7 years. Then, I moved to CA. I’ve searched so many places and still looking for the right hair salons in the Bay area. Sadly, I have no luck to find the right hair stylist like Sky. Oh, I miss her so bad. Next time I visit to Hawaii, I have to go to see her directly from the airport.
Lots of people came and asked me where did I done my hair while I was Hawaii.

I come to envy now after following stylist extraordinaire, SKY, from the W salon. I have been seeing her for about 5 years now and can honestly say she is the absolute best. I have crazy curly frizzy Hawaiian hair, and she does my straight perms. Sky knows how to cut your hair with the shape of your face and uses the best products on the market. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to have a quality straight perm or to get an amazing cut. she does it all. I’ve had bad experiences in the past at other places, but I completely trust her and that is saying a lot. Thank you, Sky, for being absolutely amazing.

I was in a desperate situation. I had a last minute cosplay shoot in a couple days but my hair had gotten so long! There was no way I could fit all that into my wig.
I called my usual stylist but she was completely unavailable. So of course I jumped on my handy dandy Unilocal app to begin my search for a salon.
A number of great salons came up, I decided to call Envy Hair Salon because of the good reviews and I saw a few of my friends went here as well. Lucky for me they had an appointment available! SCORE!
When I arrived to the salon, the staff was nothing but wonderful. Even my hairstylist was super friendly. And I’m sure my stylist tried really hard to give me the look I wanted, but she really didn’t =/​
I showed her a picture of the style and color ombré I wanted. Unfortunately she said they did not carry that particular color. Meh, no big deal. I was fine without the color. But I still wanted an ombré look.
I also wanted layers and to have the V effect in the back. However, because I left with my hair curled I really couldn’t tell how the layers and cut was. But the next day after washing my hair, there wasn’t much layers and it was almost going straight across on the bottom. Also the color done to my hair looks more like highlights.
Sometimes I like to part my hair differently and flip my hair to the side and style it that way. You know change it up a bit. However after getting my hair done, now if I flip my hair to the side I have a large dark color patch (which is my natural hair color) and then the color she put in my hair starts awkwardly in the middle =_​_​_​=

Can I just take the time to say how AMAZING Sky is?! I have been through so much hair trauma after going blonde and was in need of a major hair miracle! I went to Sky for a color and cut. I showed Sky a video of the exact cut and color I wanted and we started right away! Sky gave me the most beautiful cut and color and my hair is exactly what I envisioned.
Now, I would really like to explain how amazing it was to see Sky do my hair. The way she colored my hair was in no way like any other hair stylist I’ve ever seen. Sky is so detailed and precise with each and every strand of hair, she spends so much time and effort making sure that each strand of hair is in it’s perfect place. Instead of seeing someone just zoom through my hair, make small talk and take my credit card, Sky and I had such a nice talk about life and on top of that I left the salon looking and feeling great. Sky just has this genuine, bright and welcoming personality and I could not be happier with my outcome of my hair, I’ve already recommended her to a few friends!
If you are looking for a new stylist, I highly recommend Sky, she definitely knows what she’s doing!

Nearby road construction on Kapiolani and on Kona Street do not affect entrances to parking lot; just makes area congested. Not sure how long this will last.
This salon is otherwise very easily accessed and very conveniently located, near Ala Moana Center.

LOVE this place! But I would have to say anywhere stylist Sky is I’d love! She is the highlight of my day anytime I get to see her and have her beautify me! I always walk out feeling gorgeous! She’s really that good! She goes through a lot of recurring training to keep up on her education with cutting hair, styles and products. She’s so nice and is very intelligent with how to work with different hair types and she takes in to account all angels and if you style it certain ways or put up your hair. She considers the cemetery of your face and most important of all she Listens to You! What you want!
She’s super down to earth, so friendly and I over the years have grown to LOVE her! She’s an amazing stylist but better yet she’s a great person!
The salon is very clean and comfortable to be in. It’s not overwhelming with people and all the other stylists are nice and professional and great you when you come in!
