Gina planned my destination wedding beautifully. There were a lot of challenges in coordinating our wedding which was on holiday and it was also during the week that President Obama and many other dignitaries were to be present in Honolulu. I highly recommend her to any bride-​to-​be. She’s truly a professional and I really enjoyed working with her. Couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator.

Gina is amazing! We hired her for day-​of coordination and the wedding was wonderful. Everything went smoothly and I did not have to worry about a thing on my wedding day. No details were forgotten. She is very organized but also not pushy at all. She has a very calm demeanor which put me at ease during the stress of wedding planning and on the day of. She also stated intil all our guests left and helped us pack up our guest book and cards. I highly recommend her for wedding coordination! Thank you Gina!

I am sooo GRATEFUL that we hired Divine Weddings & Events and had the absolute pleasure to work with Gina & her team. My new husband and I did a destination wedding in Oahu and just like most people thought we could handle it all. I’m super organized and we are very involved in the wedding industry since we are wedding hairstylist for Salon 25 Brides, so we thought we were pretty prepared. To anyone getting married, especially anyone doing a destination wedding I highly highly highly reccommend Gina and her team!
In a nutshell Gina saved the day many times… so many times that I didn’t even know there were any challenges on my wedding day till months later, she was on point and just got things done beautifully! I do have to say I don’t usually write reviews but she really went above and beyond for us. For example, my white dance floor I ordered with Accel Party rentals decided to never show up (nightmare). Gina handled the situation like a pro and with LESS than 2 hours before our wedding she got Pacific Party rentals to come out and install a gorgeous white dance floor for us! We LOVE you Gina!!!

Gina is amazing! We planned our wedding from DC and she was super nice, helpful, and had great ideas! We got Day of coordination and she handled it! The Day of she called to tell me there was chance of rain, the caterer we chose showed up 3 hours late and the sound guy we hired brought the wrong equipment — she took care of everything without missing a beat. I didn’t even know that anything went wrong until after the ceremony! She keeps cool in chaos and was in control of everything! Everyone had a great time. Our wedding was a great success and we owe it all to her.

Gina was recommended to us by a friend living in Hawaii and she exceeded all expectations! She was extremely organized and, even though we were planning our wedding from NYC, she was always just an email/​text away. She made the planning process so easy, and her full coordination services are super reasonable! We ran out of alcohol mid-​reception in the middle of nowhere, and Gina left to get us more alcohol so no one noticed. I can’t say enough great things about her! If you’re planning a wedding on Oahu, no need to look any further, Gina is your dream planner!

As as American and an Australian getting married, Hawaii was the perfect choice. Since we were planning from far away, we used Gina’s full coordination service. She recommended all the vendors and did all the coordination. Every vendor was absolutely fantastic — the celebrant, the musician, the hair/​makeup, the photographer, and people are still talking about how delicious the cake was a month later! We chose the Westin Moana Surfrider lawn and terrace and I can’t imagine a better location. We had just over 60 guests and it was perfect. I highly recommend Gina’s services — you will be thrilled on your big day!

this review is long over due! Gina coordinated my wedding in October 2013.
First of all she was the only one that called me back. All the other companies I inquired with just sent me an email. The same email they send to everyone else that’s interested.
Gina went above and beyond of what I ever expected a wedding coordinator to do. I have to admit I wasnt the easiest bride. I am very indecisive and I changed my mind a lot. I changed the number of guest attending my wedding 4 times. Which meant that Gina had to reorder and get new invoices for invitations, linens, chairs, and table arrangements. She did this 4X. and didn’t complain or show any irritation at all.
My wedding was amazing. The only thing I worried about was my husband and his line drinking too much before the ceremony. :) But other then that Gina took care of everything. Everything flowed so smoothly. My wedding was awesome! And I thank Gina for it all. She was the best choice I made for my wedding. once I had her she helped me with every other choice I made.
You will not regret making Gina your coordinator.

Gina is everything you want in a wedding coordinator and more. I hired her for the day-​of, and she started working with me about a month and a half ahead of time. At that point, she was able to take over coordination with all of my vendors and put together a detailed timeline of the day.
Because of Gina, I was able to relax and enjoy my wedding day. No one bothered me with logistics or any other issues. Gina’s policy is that she doesn’t escalate problems to her brides on their wedding day unless they need to know. For example, on my wedding day, Gina couldn’t find the pins for my money dance. I didn’t even find out about this until the next day. Instead of asking me where I put them, she asked my sister, who was my wedding fashion designer and seamstress. My sister didn’t know where I put the pins either, but she was able to supply her own pins from her sewing kit, and the money dance went on without a hitch.

We utilized Gina for our «day of» coordination services. Even though her job was to mainly get us through the day organized and keeping us all on track, she was very helpful in the weeks prior to our wedding helping us with our timeline and recommending vendors. She really eased my mind and made the day stress-​free. Our officiant and wedding party also made comments that they really liked her direction, etc. it wasn’t pushy but she was there when we needed her. I would definitely recommend her to anyone (especially if you were like me and planning from the mainland).

Gina at Divine Weddings and Events did an incredible job planning and implementing almost every aspect of our wedding! From the flowers, to the design, to the day of coordination, everything was perfect! Gina was so helpful and insightful when it came to all things wedding. She was able to make me feel at ease during the whole planning process (which is hard to do) and the day of our wedding went so smoothly and was truly the most amazing day of our lives! We still get compliments to this day on the décor, the food, the cake, our photos, etc… all set up by Gina.
We ended up working with Gina and her sister Leigh for all of our wedding needs. Our cake and other desserts were done by Leigh’s business «Tiers of Joy» (the cakes are to die for and are beautiful as well!) and the sister’s also did our catering with their business «D’lish Catering» (we did heavy pupu’s and everything was delicious and our guests were full).
I have and will continue to recommend Gina and Leigh to anyone I meet that is getting married! If you are looking for a true one-​stop wedding shop or even just bits and pieces to make your wedding come together, then there is no better person than Gina and Divine Weddings and Events!
I just hope she’s still around for my 25^th anniversary!!! :)
