Diamond Nails

I loved this place! The staff is so friends and attentive! They’re a little more expensive than in used to in California but that to be expected here. I’m not sure of my lady’s name but she did an amazing and quick job on both my pedicure and gel mani! The true test will be if they last! I can’t wait to come back!

Made an appt for 12:30. Showed up at 12:25. By 1:00 we had still not been taken back… this is after seeing a couple people WITHOUT appts (one of whom was obviously a close personal friend of the technician who took her back) taken back. As we were walking out they offered to take us back. No. I called ahead to make an appt so I didn’t have to wait 30 minutes. Appointments are supposed to take priority, that’s why people make them.

Loann is just soo creative. But the best thing is she always listens to what I want and creates something that matches my personality. Which is part bling, part conservative, part wild and very pink! Look at what she did for my New Years deco!

I absolutely hate this place! I have been there 3 times like an idiot. Only because it is so close to my home and having just moved here and not yet knowing my way around. 1^st time horrible manicure got shellac and design. The polish was not cleaned up right around the cuticles and the design was smeared. The lady was so nice and apologetic I figured that maybe she was having an off day.
2^nd time got a lip wax and they put some cooling cream after and it burned my lip so bad. I ended up with a rash (bad place for a rash).
3^rd and last time got a pedi\mani short on time and again so close to home. It was a guy this time. The whole process felt completely rushed as if he couldn’t be bothered. I picked out a color of polish for fingernails (shellac) which he painted. Now time for the toes he asked what color? I told him to match my nails. Then come to find out no color to match. He said «you should have told me first that you wanted them to match». Oh, so it’s my fault! You know what your right, I should of learned my lesson the first time.

I’ve been here three times and highly recommend Kristen and Loann. Each was professional, knowledgeable, kind, and did great work! I usually get a mani/​pedi, which is very reasonably priced. My nails always came out looking perfect, and the paint job tends to last almost a month! With the holiday season coming up, I wanted to do nail art, and Loann delivered! The half snowflake added the perfect touch to the light pink base. I’m a very happy customer and highly recommend Kristen and Loann.

I can always count on Diamond Nails. This is my go to spot. The prices are average here but the service is not. I may not be a regular, coming in once every 2 – 3 weeks, but they do treat me like one. I enjoy the atmosphere here. I’ve tried many other nail salons that have not met up to my standard. All they’re missing here is a bathroom! I love the service given here! I’ve been serviced by almost every employee here and they have yet to fail me.

Loved them all! Got a Mani/​pedi and eyebrows done. They’re so awesome and nice! I recommend them to anyone!

The location is soo convenient for me, however I will never return to this salon! A few months ago, I was on my way home and decided to get a lip wax since this place is literally 2 min away from my house. Just made this account but felt obliged to share my experience.
I believe it was some kind of holiday, so I called to see if they had time for a lip wax. They said sure come right in. On arrival, I signed in and saw that a few other people were waiting to get other services done. Looked pretty busy and I waited about 20 min before I got called. One of the older ladies, maybe the owner (?) called my name out loudly asking YOU WANT LIP WAX? Can you say embarrassing much?
Anyway, she takes me to a seat in the back and prepped my lip. Standard procedure. Blows the wax on the stick and puts it on, then come the strips and pulling. When she was done, I could feel something was wrong. I usually don’t get red or swollen at all and I’d say I have a high pain tolerance. My lip STUNG so bad, but I thought maybe it was just because I was long overdue for that wax. I’m not sure if she even showed me a mirror, but I remember giving a good tip (as I always do), UGH I wish I didn’t.
I returned to my car and looked in the mirror to see a chuck of skin missing above my lip. That’s why it hurt so bad. It was noticeable, and red so I was livid to know that she didn’t say anything about it. Like a 1 inch by ½ inch burn.
I’m not one to cause a scene or make a big deal out of it so I just dealt with it on my own. For the next few days, I couldn’t put makeup on it and put neosporin on it. It looked weird to put a bandaid there so I just let it breathe. It eventually scabbed up and peeled away after I paid close attention to it & remembered to keep applying neosporin.
Long story short, don’t get waxed here. If you do take the chance, I hope you’re prepared with lots of neosporin. I will give you a tip to use the cream instead of the original ointment so it doesn’t make the burn shiny and even more noticeable. :)

Went to this shop today after trying 2 other shops in the area. Very clean shop. .customer service was outstanding! I was a walk in and was serviced within 5 minutes. I would definitely suggest making an appointment if you’re able to. The eyebrow waxing was wonderful as well. I’m not going to suggest any specific person because it seems you can’t go wrong with anyone who services you! !

The only reason I come to Diamond Nails is because it is close to my house. If not for that, I wouldn’t bother. I have come here three times, and each time, I have not been impressed with the work that was done.
The last time I came here, I was 37 weeks pregnant, and in serious need of a pedicure. I was so looking forward to some pampering for my swollen, achy feet. When I got there, they asked if I had a preference on who did my nails, and since I didn’t know anyone I just said someone good! Apparently, someone good translates to the lady who looks like she was on her very first day working as a nail tech. She literally was looking to the woman to her left every few minutes, and the woman to her left was guiding her in how to massage, what to apply etc. She filed my toenails down, but I wanted them even shorter. She said something to the other woman and the other woman said, «Oh, she’s afraid to cut with the clippers.» Ummm… perhaps you are in the wrong industry, then? So the woman to her left came and cut my nails in like 10 seconds. I also wanted a design, and this lady appeared to not do designs as she was swapped out with a gentleman who regarded me as if I was someone who interrupted his break. While this may be true, it’s not my fault that I’m paying for a service to get my nails done and the nail techs on the floor aren’t properly trained. The design was OK. I left feeling disappointed.
I came again today thinking it had been awhile since I got my toes done and again would love the chance to sit back and relax. Water was nice, massage could’ve been hotter. The design was not cute. I wanted polka dots (my friend had polka dots next to me and hers were dainty and cute), and when the guy was done, it looked like someone had gone with a blotter on my nails. Big blobs. I didn’t realize what was going on until he was already done, and at that point, my friend needed to leave and we rode together. After these experiences, I will not be back to this facility. There are way too many other nail salons in competition to waste time or money at a place that does mediocre work and comes off as indifferent to their clientele.

So I always go to Kristen when I need to get a fill on my nails as well as nail art. Before my trip she did my nails. I was so disappointed because she rushed on my service bc another client was waiting for a period of time and the client was waiting for another technician, so she did a bad job. I also notice that i had green on my right thumb and she said it was ok to put an arcrylic nail on. I left for my trip and wanted my nails to look good but my thumb kept giving me issues bc there was a pocket space and it turned into fungus, so i never will go back. Sorry, but kristen is very sweet. Customer Service shud be #1 tho, especially u are a repeat customer! JS

The worst place I have ever gone to get my nails done. Waited 45 minutes, and the manicurist were hung over and talked about it proudly. I got acrylic nails, and l understand they are not the highest quality but to have them break off in less than 12 hrs? That is ridiculous. Even though i went back the next day and then their customer service was much better. Amd still my nails were terrible. A week later amd their all broken off. I’m never going back there.

First visit. At 5pm there were about seven manicurists and each had a customer. For two of us getting a regular manicure, we waited about 10 mins. The lady at the front was very nice. One of the two dudes there took care of my nails and did a great job. Great massage, too! My mom-​in-​law had her last manicure back in August of last year, so her nails were pretty long (and tough to clip from what I heard). She decided on a French manicure and it came out great, which was done by the other dude. I wish I took a before and after photo of her nails! I’ll be back to try the spa pedicure someday. :-)

Loann is the best! She loves doing nail art and she always make me laugh and every time I’m here. She’s super friendly and they take walk ins. And they help you right away when you make an appointment. I always recommend them to my friends, and I definitely re come d them for you!

I love coming here, well used to at least. I always come here to do my eye brows with Kristen. And Lani always did my nails but she moved to s farther location. Lately coming here I been receiving bad service but still tried to forget about it. My last service was a week ago and for the first time I did gel nails. I always get acrylics because I like the longer look n I figure that’s what gel was. The guy didn’t really explain what he was doing and though I was crazy by the questions I was asking him. I just didn’t know work and didn’t know it was only my natural nails. I had to pick from the colors so I figure it was gonna be out on. So I know next time to be more specific but he should’ve helped me out. It’s only been a week and it’s already peeling and I paid $ 35 for it. I guess it is time to find a new nail shop but eye brows I will probably stay.

I love Diamond Nails. Loann is the best! I always get a pedicure and gel manicure. They have many different gel polish choices and many of them have coordinating regular polish to match on your toes.

Been coming to them for more than 12 years. Totally love this place. The staff is really nice. My nails and eyebrows always look good.

I love it here! It’s not a typical salon experience where you sit silently while the aunties talk in a language you don’t understand. My nail artist Kay was so friendly and we actually had a great conversation, which made the waiting without touching my phone totally do-​able. The salon is clean and air conditioned. I wish the water for the pedicure tubs was a little hotter, but I am definitely coming back.

I’m actually writing this review over a month after visiting this salon. Why? …Because my experience was so terrible I’m still thinking about it!!!
First of all the staff was very rude and didn’t seem to care at all about my experience or that of my family. I mentioned that this was the first time I was able to drag my husband with me to get his first ever pedicure. I wanted it to be a great experience for him but instead they made us feel uncomfortable.
The staff made us feel like we were being rushed through crappy services, all while taking forever. Don’t know how that’s even possible but somehow it was.
My daughter is 5 and picked two nail colors for her pedi. We’ve don’t this many, many times and have always had the manicurist color every other nail the opposite color. I was so shocked to see that they had colored one foot with one color and the other foot with the second color. It just looked weird.
I had a gel acrylic fill and not only was it the worst job I’ve ever seen but it was $ 46!!! For a gel fill?! Wtf?! That was ridiculous.
This place is a joke with unskilled and rude employees and outrageous prices. I will NEVER go there again.
