I went there to estimate for my scratches on my bumper. The owner look at it, tell me he could remove with out any charge. Now, that’s honesty which is hard to find auto industry. From now on I bring my car here and recommend this place they’re very honest and do great work.

I have a 2015 Toyota Sienna, within three months of purchasing it someone hit us. Two weeks after getting our Sienna back from being fixed we were hit again, both times we took our Sienna to Dent Doctors. We received nothing but professional and high quality care, everyone was on point when it came to dealing with insurance agencies.
As you can imagine, by the second accident we were frustrated and short tempered, but everyone at Dent Doctors took it in stride and treated us with efficiency and understanding. As for the quality of the work, I would say it was as perfect as when we first drove it off the lot. With all the knowledge and years of experience combined, I would recommend that anyone needing work visit them first. For those of you that are military, ask about the military discount.

I was stuck deciding what to do when my 2015 Toyota 4Runner got smashed in a hit and run. The whole process was stressful and time consuming. I went to quite a few shops before DDH and wasn’t comfortable with any working on my brand new truck.
DDH exceeded my expectations 110%!
From my initial phone call to picking my
truck up after It was all souped up!
I drove around for a month with a front end that look like it just got out off the mma ring.
The whole front end needed to be replaced even the hood. I planned to pay out of pocket to avoid insurance claim. But it was quite costly, so went through insurance instead. When I finally dropped my truck off they found hidden damage internally and had to request a supplement to cover cost. DDH also requested for a new hood because it was such a new car. Janine kept me well updated on the status and when extra parts came in.
Then I got the phone call that my 4Runner was all done! When I went to pick up my truck I was more excited then when I first bought it.
Though my whole experience it was genuine service from the whole crew at DDH. You know they really care about every customer and not just running a business. I definitely recommend Dent Doctors Hawaii!

Dent doctors is the BEST!!! I got into an accident and the whole front of my car got damaged pretty bad. Janine was super helpful and very sweet and helped the process go so smoothly! I thought this shop specialized in mainly dents but boy did they prove me wrong. They did an awesome job on the repairs and also did it in a very timely manner. My car looks brand new again :) Thank you dent doctors! I’ll definitely be coming back here in the future! :)

Called them for a quote and they told me $ 800 but instead I went to ProDentHawaii who charged me only $ 265 plus they came to me to fix the dent

I want to thank Dent Doctors for their excellent work repairing a dent on my Toyota Tacoma tailgate. The service from my initial phone contact to receiving my vehicle back was outsatanding. Their price was fair, infact lower than another company with similar services.
Don’t count Dent Doctors out because of several negative reviews. I experienced great setvice and will return if I need PDR.

Yes the negative reviews are fairly accurate. The owner is rather pretentious and they seem more interested in getting the most money out of you. They are way to eager to push conventional body work on you if they feel that it will make them more money. If you want good PDR work look elsewhere, if you want good conventional body work look elsewhere as well. There are better conventional auto body shops out there and better PDR professionals that do a better job and charge less. If you want to be hustled by carnies then this is your go to place.

Gerry did an outstanding job working a dent out on my 2014 4Runner that looked like needed body work and paint. It was worth the $ 350. I will use Dent Doctors in the future if needed.

There are many places to fix dents, scratches, paint and body work. Assuming that the business is not a scam, they will fix your vehicle.
The difference between these many businesses is customer service, price (if you are paying out of pocket), and quality of workmanship/​professionalism.
This business lacks all three. Their service is rotten, their price is exorbitant, and they take the longest time fixing any problem.
I had to take my vehicle to another business and have them fix further what this business failed to accomplish. 0 stars if possible please

Went in for an estimate on a small scratch — not even 2 inches long, no dent, just paint scratched off, but was told that they’d need to remove the bumper (removing & replacing the bumper was cheaper than painting according to them) and replace it with a new one. But for the deeper scratch on the tail, was told they could paint over it. The scratches were superficial and should have been easy to just paint over. The estimate was over $ 1000 dollars for the work — with the «Christmas discount», cause she needed to do some shopping. (She literally told me this is a discount because she wanted to go Christmas shopping)
Now while I was there, another guy came in with his dog, and they only charged him $ 100 for bodywork. (seems he’s a regular)
Though I will say they did follow up, when I left with a thank you for the quote… still working on getting the Christmas money I assume.

This place is a joke. We called this place before we came in to do an estimate for our car. The lady has no customer service. She is sooooo sarcastic. Nothing but sarcastic. The guy that did the estimate is very helpful. Answered all our question. I just hope that lady should work on her customer service

These guys are AWESOME!!!
Let me just say that we have been coming to these guys for all of our minor cosmetic repairs for years! It’s one thing when the shop does a great job… because these guys are par-​none! But it means a lot when the crew treats you like family.
I have a soft spot in my heart to family owned joints, ya see! :-)
Everyone at Dent Doctors is great! There prices are rather reasonable for their Paintless Dent Removal services. Their more complicated jobs do come with a bit of a heftier pricetag, but that’s to be expected. Quality doesn’t always come cheap.

Dent Doctors did a great job repairing and painting a dent on the roof of my car. The ladies in the office are awesome and really helpful. They made the whole repair process seamless and easy and my car looks new! Thanks Dent Doctors!

Dent Doctors is the bestest!

My husband recently purchased a 1997 Lexus LS400 with only 32 000 miles, it had some minor minor dents and one that my husband made after he just got the car, when our yard blower fell on his hood and he was absolutely sick. The car was a Metallic emerald green and though he was not crazy about the color, he bought it because it was in great shape and very low miles. After taking it to several body shops and receiving some very honest comments by the shop owners, as well as quotes to fix the minor dings and repainting the car to a different color. my husband decided he was going to heed their suggestions and not paint it. One owner of a body shop owners recommended he take it to a paintless body shop and that is where he found Dent Doctors. We met Janeen and Bernadette who were absolutely the nicest people and they had Jerry Rabago, who is the owner to give the final estimate. Jerry spent a lot of time going over the entire car and gave good suggestions. We made an appointment the following day to bring the car in and after 3 ½ days the car looks awesome. All the dings and paint chips were gone. The bumper was redone and it looked brand new. My hubby is so very happy and loves his car. We recommend Dent Doctors, they do such a great job and the people are so nice. You couldn’t ask for a better combination. While we were there, we saw so many cars and they all looked great, so I know there are a lot of happy car owners out there.

While I’m sure they may do a good job on dents, don’t take your car there for anything paint related. I got my aftermarket front bumper painted and installed from these guys with a deadline of 2 weeks for the car show. The owner’s wife joked that they’d give me a deal if I advertised their work at the car show. They said they could have it done in 3 days. Owner seemed nice and said he’d have the best paint guy on the island come color match the paint. I was really patient and didn’t pester them as I wanted them to do it right and do a good job. They called me a week and a half later to tell me the bumper was done and to come see it. I did. My car is gunmetal gray. My bumper was CLEARLY a silver-​ish purple and I have pictures in my profile to prove it (from the car show no less, so embarrassing). The owner argued with me saying the paint was a perfect match and said he paid the best painter on the island to come color match it. I told him he paid too much and he cocked his hand back like he was going to hit me.
He finally said he would get it repainted but it wouldn’t be done before the car show. I decided to take my car to the car show because I already paid the entrance fee and I decided to advertise his «work» like they had asked. I took it back and got the bumper repainted which then matched better to which the owner commented, «Okay, I guess it was purple». Their end work turned out to be acceptable but the TERRIBLE customer service made the experience a nightmare.

I am so happy with Dent Doctors. I purchased a plan that takes care of dents when I bought my car. They sent me here and I couldn’t be happier. Jerry worked on my car and Bernadette took care of all my paperwork. I will definitely be back for dents and or body work! Thank you guys! My car looks sexy again :-)

OK, this will be a combo review since I took two different cars to them. First will be the paint less dent repair (PDR) review. That one is a 5 star. They were able to get the long crease out of the rear quarter panel and I couldn’t even tell there was damage and only for $ 75. I got a quote from another body shop and they were going to strip the paint, use filler and repaint. Again, for PDR I give them 5 stars.
I would not recommend them for body work though. On my other car, someone hit it in a parking lot. Since I was happy with the PDR I figured why not go back. They ordered the wrong bumper and still installed it anyways. I told them about it and they just wanted to cut the bumper so the tailpipe wouldn’t rest on the newly painted surface. For the side body, I could see the sanding streaks all along the lower panels. They didn’t take the time to smooth it out before painting. For body work, I gave them negative stars.
Customer service was good and they were friendly but that doesn’t make up for bad work.

HORRIFIC customer experience. I will say they did a great job with my dent… but the experience as a customer was a nightmare.
We got the estimate, insurance sent the check, we scheduled to drop the car off in a few weeks as my husband would be out of town and I could use his ginormous truck. not my favorite vehicle to drive, but better than a rental. Per our agreement, I dropped the car off on a monday morning. i was told it would be «later in the week» before my side door dent was ready.
No calls, so Thursday afternoon I called. They informed me that since I was driving my husband’s car, they hadn’t even started. WHAT? How does my not having a rental have anything to do with you pushing my car to the back of the line?
Then, Friday afternoon i receive a call. they tell me that the airbag deployed, and I will need to take me car to the dealer to get it fixed. but «don’t worry, your insurance will pay for it».And I should be able to pick up my car Saturday.
Are you kidding me? So not only have you taken way too long to do something we had schedule over a month ago, but now you’ve messed up my car so I have to take it to the dealer?
I call my insurance to ask them about this… including the claim that they will pay to get my airbag fixed. My insurance calls DDH and has me (silently sitting) on the line. DDH says that they are «coming in on saturday» to finish my car, because I’ve been really pushy about getting my car.(Uhm, hello, you are always open on Saturdays, stop acting like you are ‘coming in’ just for my car.) They also tell my insurance that the airbag did not deploy, but the sensor went off, and so the dealer needs to reset it.
After DDH stop talking, my insurance agent asks if I have anything to add. I ask DDH why the first person who called from DDH told me the bag had deployed. She explains that the first person didn’t know what they were talking about.
Bottom line, this place is terrible and I would caution EVERYONE in Honolulu to not go here based on my experience. Oh yes, and I still have the flashing light because I’m too busy to go get the airbag fixed. Thank you Dent Doctors Hawaii.
