Tried both of their brewed beers and was not disappointed. Both were full of flavor and BESTOFALL, no bitter IPA. Both were a red to tan but not sure of the actual type. Neither were light and both were good. My wife and another couple enjoyed them as well, and at $ 12 a pitcher($ 3 a pint), it can’t be beat. There are also pool tables, a Taco Bell and a country bar in the same building/complex. Definitely recommended.

Pros: Military Only: You can bring your family and friends, though one of you MUST have an ID to use this great facility. Lots of pool tables, tables, bar area, Taco Bell & Pizza Hut you can eat in the bar, clean restrooms, and most of all… LOW Prices! They have their own micro brewery on premises and you can get an original Pearl Harbor brewed BEER! How cool is that? Friendly waitresses. I don’t care for the male bartender, though the two ladies(Ting & MaryAnn) are super friendly and if you let them, they’ll talk your ear off.(that’s a great thing when you’re alone drinking a beer or a few) Cons: None that I can think of. I couldn’t find one thing wrong with this place. All«Pros». I find this place to be relaxing. There’s free Wi-Fi and people are always there having a drink of choice(doesn’t have to be alcohol if you don’t want it). Taco Bell/Pizza Hut are in the same building next to the club. Inexpensive. Bar food in town will run you 10 times as much… I know this fact. Micro brewed beer that tastes AWESOME… TV, pool tables for $ 1.25 a game, even an old fashioned video game! THIS is the place to come when you’re in the area or don’t want to leave the area for an overpriced night on the town. Let’s face it: you go out to have drinks and entertainment without spending a fortune.(I do) This is it. Period.

If you have base access, I highly recommend you try out CP Brewery! Located in the Pearl Complex next to the JBPHH gym, this large bar serves a variety of beers and liquor. They have many TV’s to watch your variety of sports, but if you aren’t interested, start a game of pool or darts. Even sit like a loner in the corner playing video games. Do your thing! Their two beers brewed on location are the JB(joint base) brew and the billabong brew. The JB tasted more like a wheat to me, while the Billabong had more fruits brewed into it, which I loved. You can’t beat the price, $ 3.75 for a pint, $ 4.75 for a shot… They even have beer pitches AND towers available. I took away one star for not having a food menu. You can go next door to taco bell or pizza hut and bring the food inside, but considering I avoid fast food, this makes being hungry and wanting a beer difficult.

A cool little on base bar with plenty of pool tables and seating to keep everyone happy. Beer selection is pretty limited but it is cheap so you can’t really beat that considering what you would normally pay elsewhere. Good atmosphere and cheap, cold beer is what make this a good spot on base.

After the recent Toby Keith Concert, we decided it was still early and I already paid the babysitter so off we went to have some beer at Brews and Cues. I really liked how open the bar is. There seemed to be plenty of room and there was a lot of people there. Sitting on the patio was really mellow. You could still talk with your friends, but still feel like your out for the night. The beer was priced well here. Honestly, I tried about 8 different beers here and didn’t try one that I didn’t like. Two of their microbrews I had were pretty tasty as well.(I’ll definitely write them down next time… my phone died at the concert.) I will definitely be back. If I didn’t have the NFL Sunday ticket I would definitely come here for games.

Other then having DJ Request as the MC this place is pretty good for a cheap beer and a good game of pool. They also let you bring food in which is convenient considering there is no menu here. Definitely worth stopping by on the weekends if you are bored.

No longer is this a secret location for cheap beer! A dozen beers on tap including their own microbrew. Try the JB1 or Billabong Brew. CP Brewery at Brews and Cues is not listed on the Michelin Guidebook nor will it ever be. It’s just a great place to hang out with fellow barflies and shoot the shhh.. .. Great bar located on historic Pearl Harbor Naval Station. Because it is located on the base you either have to be active duty, retired military, a military dependent or D.O.D. civilian. If you can get in, you’ll thoroughly enjoy the place. Just avoid the grouchy bartender — I believe her name is Patti. I leave as soon as she starts her evening shift. Come hang out with us on Tuesday thru Thursday with Ms. Thinh. She’s the most awesome bartender from Vietnam. CP Brewery at Brews and Cues has been a regular stop for me to watch sports right after work. College football season, college basketball season, NFL, NBA, MLB and everything in between can be watched in air conditioned splendor at the bar, on the numerous tables and couches. 10 HDTVs are mounted on the walls over all the bar floor. If you want to watch a specific game, just let the bartender know and she’ll hook you up. 6 pool tables and 2 dart boards also help keep you entertained. Can’t wait ’til they add a shuffleboard game. Right outside the big glass windows, under the wide open sky is the smoking area set up with over a dozen tables. Music is pumped outside to keep you entertained. So yes, it is semi smoker friendly. In case you get hungry, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell is right next door.
