Not to be rude or anything, but I was on my break from my job and I wanted to eat food. So I came here and tried the plate lunch in coco cove:) I placed my order to a old phillipino lady and she had no idea what I was saying. I kept repeating my self«do you guys still have beef stew?» She was like what?!? I got so irritated so the boss of the station came and took my order instead:) I was happy I finally got my order placed! When I went to the cashier to pay for my food and monster. All the cashiers were talking to each other and I’m right there wanting to pay out and EAT! Then finally I told them if I can pay. She didn’t notice me until I said something… Wow terrible customer service If anything i wouldn’t give this place a 1 star but three would be better! Just hire more independent people

HOLYCRAP their poke is AMAZING and the most affordable in all of Waikiki. Went at 11:00AM on a Saturday and there was no line. Try the Ahi Limu Poke; the salty and crunchy seaweed strips on there are sublime.

The Poke is SO delicious and fresh! Coco Cove has a nice selection, and the person behind the counter will let you try the ones you are most interested in to ensure you will enjoy your Poke Bowl! Definitely a «must have» when in Honolulu! & Definitely BAAAANGGGFORYOURBUCK!

This place is the best for lunch it is very cheap and you get a lot of food. I love the hot food that they have. It is a must if you don’t have time to heat your food up.

Poke Counter Portions I’ve been going to CoCo Cove since it started the poke counter and they serve some of the best tasting poke in waikiki. I’ve always been discouraged when i see a certain worker. That person uses a cup to see how much poke people get, sure the cup is a faster way of getting poke out to people but then i saw a tourist couple picking up poke and instead of using the Cup as a guide he used used the spoon and gave them a lot of poke… so I ordered the same thing as the previous couple and he used the Cup as a guide and mine was a lot smaller portion… either use the actual machine to weigh the poke fairly or give everyone the same portion. Only reason why this isn’t a 2 star is because the poke tastes great.

I’ve been enjoying lunch here for many years now since I live in the neighborhood. I always like to visit the salad bar. A small salad costs $ 6.99 and $ 7.99 for a large. They have a Plan A where you could choose one main protein and 3 veggies/cheese or Plan B and get a variety of five different veggies/cheese. It just sucks that they no longer serve salmon as a part of the proteins for the salad, so I just order a cold salmon filet on the side for an extra $ 6. They also toss it for you with optional cracked black pepper, salt and croutons. They’ve since remodeled and now added a poke area in the front of the store, where the old registers used to be. Sometimes when I don’t feel like a salad for lunch, I switch it up and order a poke bowl. Majority of the poke is previously frozen, but this is the only place in Waikiki with poke. With the poke bowl, it comes with brown or white rice topped with furikake season(I like to order extra!) Everything is delicious and convenient if you want to pack a picnic to the beach, they have a bunch of prepackaged sandwiches, fruits, etc.

[Grab-n-Go] Two words: poke bowls! They are absolutely amazing and highly recommended for a fraction of the cost. We got ours for $ 7.99 and thought the quality was delicious. We also tried the Bubbies Mochi ice cream and they were just not as good as getting them from the normal store; the Mochi was dry. Great store overall and a great place to finish some of your last minute snack shopping to take back home. Lines can get a little long but otherwise, it’s a fantastic place to be and located in the center of everything. I would recommend maybe somehow keeping the windows clean from the defrosting poke because the condensation makes it a little hard to see. Otherwise, I love it here! Dishes ordered: Shoyu and spicy tuna poke bowls, Bubbies Mochi ice cream.

This is your local neighborhood store that sells souvenirs, a few groceries, cooked food, water, snacks and just stuff. Reasonably priced and quick place to get stuff if you forgot to pack something. I had their fried rice, egg and bacon for breakfast one morning and it was good. The fried rice had sausage and spam in it so the majority of the flavor came from that. The bacon was thin for me, so wasn’t too happy about that. They also have this Mochi ice cream that’s like a flat ball with different flavors. It was was really good and a treat for this hot Hawaii weather. They have all types of Poki that seems very popular for patrons. Overall, decent place.

Came here early in the morning to get some quick bites. They mainly serve eggs, spam and rice in the morning, but the lady was nice enough to give me a lunch combo of fried rice with fried chicken wings. A combo costs about $ 8.95 Food was decent. Place was convenient. Would come here again to try their poke and other items.

the freshest convenient store ahi poke i have had. Had the spicy poke and the avocado poke. Both delicious. also stocked up on some cookies and crème macadamia nuts. They come up with the most crazy things… we shopped here as it was close to our hotel and some of the items were a bit cheaper than the ABC store, other things not so much. But friendly staff and clean store. I would recommend.

Good alternative to an ABC store. And they sell poke. The poke isn’t great but it’s edible and will satisfy your poke craving. It’s super convenient that you can get your snacks and beer in the same place though.

Their poké is prettttty, awesome for«ABC» type of stores in Waikiki. Now, I gotta figure out how to get the rice w/o eating all the poké on top LOL! I think the girl piles it on because we pop in so much. In the back they have a deli w/plate lunches. My co-worker loves their pot roast.

Although they are both convenience stores, the big difference between Coco Cove and ABC Stores is the various selections of Poke! This was my go to place for Poke and I came here several times during my two week stay in Wakiki. I was like a Poke-Mon, gotta try them all! Always got the Poke bowl with two different Poke on a bed of rice. Portions were generous, fish was fresh and I always left satisfied. Poke is one of the many things I miss about Hawaii. Oh yeah and there’s a convenience store in there too!

Coco Cove has the best ahi poke tuna. You can choose from a variety of poki. We bought some that are spicy, some that are sweet, some that have avocado, some that have kimchi, yummmyyyy! There’s a lot of choices and we were so full. We came here twice, and the next time I visit Hawaii I will definitely come again — five stars!

Great place to get food and I mean more than what ABC has to offer in their cold deli. Coco Cove has a full deli with hot foods and the best is their poke bowls. For less than $ 8, you can get a massive poke bowl that runs circles around the other places like Paina café.

A higher end Version of an ABC Store that has poke and all the touristy items you need. The prices on most items are a bit pricey but realize you’re paying for convenience. The fruit are all pre packaged but look super fresh. I’ll be back for sure for more poke!

Right in the heart of Waikiki. I wanted to order a bowl of poke so that I can enjoy it with some musubis(from Masubi Café Iyasume) by the beach. They have 2 sizes here. I went with the large(~$ 11) because I wanted to have 2 different flavors. There were so many to choose from, I almost didn’t know where to start. I recommend the Spicy Teriyaki! I thought that was the best one after sampling about 5 different flavors. For my 2nd flavor, I got the Limu. it was okay. After I saw them scooping in my first flavor, I almost wanted to stop them to change my order to a regular. They PACK the poke in there! You definitely get your money’s worth.

I’ve been on this ‘explore your work surroundings kick’ & stumbled upon coco cove. What caught my attention was their display of poké & pupus that you can spot while walking towards the store. They had a variety of ahi pokés & other favorites and although many were labeled as «Previously Frozen», I still thought to give it a shot. I got a poké bowl with brown rice & the blazing teriyaki ahi poké. The rice was warm & the poké was hot, just the way I like it. I think the rice could have been a little softer, but that’s prob cause I’m used to brown rice with a near consistency to white rice(I’m so spoiled). I like poké that is spicy, but not creamy, so the blazing teriyaki was the one for me. It was really Delish! A teriyaki flavor with tons on chili flakes. Def my type of poké. If I had a poké craving while at work, I would for sure come back for one. It’s a pretty big serving for about $ 8(one choice) and you can also get two choices for I’m not sure how much. I’d need to go back & update you: P

Nice place with abit more than the average ABC. They have a wide choice of cakes, sandwiches and tossed salads. Got a three cheeses pressed pita sandwich which was good and cheap compared to Waikiki Beach prices.
