Brent is the owner at Chase Hawaii Rentals. He was a commercial driver for a long time and also a contractor for the US navy for about a year. At the end of his term, he decided to stay in Hawaii. He then came across the option to go into business and today he still has a passion for what he does.

We rented a Harley Street Glide form Chase rentals on our vacation and it was an awesome time. The bike was perfect and was loaded out (including gps). The rep took time to give us an orientation with the bike and they also gave us maps and ideas on where to go. Overall an awesome experience.

Leased a Range Rover for the day and it was perfect. Super easy and convenient. Guys were super chill. Car wasn’t 100% full of gas so they gave me gas for free. Drop off was quick and simple. In and out. Highly recommend.

A last minute road trip left us scrambling for a nice convertible. We were glad to find Chase Rental. We were able to book a great Audi convertible in great condition with minimal hassle. The staff was super friendly and the whole process felt seamless. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for luxury car rentals.

These guys came to my rescue! After a terrible experience at ‘Hawaii Luxury Car Rentals’ I asked these guys for a last minute hire and they were more than accommodating. Great efficient service explaining all aspects of the hire. Great selection of cars, and importantly these guys are significantly cheaper and competitively priced! Highly recommend!

Mike is the fuckin shit!!! But on a serious note he worked well with us when we were in desperate need of renting a vehicle. Located right in downtown Waikiki so it’s super easy to get to. They will definitely work with ya, I would definitely recommend giving them a shot. Thanks mike!

Horribly treated by Michael. They had failed to record my phone call to reschedule my bike so it wasn’t there when I arrived. He acted as though I had not called, and wound up giving me the worst attitude I’ve ever seen in customer service. Cold shoulder intentionally. Everything was an effort for him to correct their mistake acting as though it was mine. Just horrible person. I did get a great bike (Triumph T100) eventually for a great price ($ 99 day) basically in paradise. Even then he tried to manipulate me into keeping it overnight for $ 30 more even though I had no use for it. The Japanese ladies were fantastic however and were extra solicitous seeing his behavior. Mr. Owner: great business, but your man completely soured my experience with it. Good luck with him. An idiot.

I called them to get a quote for 11 days 9⁄3 — 9⁄13 for the cheapest car available. They quoted me for $ 700 total for Mazda 3.
Now I don’t know about other people but I’d consider $ 60+ /​day a little excessive.
Definitely not calling them again!
I wonder why they show up in top 5 car rentals in Honolulu.

Great service, and great place to rent cars or bikes ESP if you want to make the trek up to North Shore from Waikiki. Very friendly staff was very helpful when my husband and I came looking to rent a motorcycle to cruise around in. They had really nice bikes and were very reasonably priced. I would suggest this place to all my friends and fam and we will definitely be coming back!

Best motorcycle rental on Oahu! I live in Honolulu and have rented motorcycles from Chase three times over the past month to test ride a few bikes that I’m interested in owning. Chase has an awesome selection of relatively new, well-​maintained and reasonably-​priced motorcycles to rent. Their staff is helpful and friendly, which makes the rental process a breeze. Chase seems to be pretty popular so make sure to book well in advance if you have a particular bike in mind as I did.

Seamless experience from start to finish. Easy to work with, friendly, communicative, felt they were eager to help me, etc. Bike wasn’t in perfect condition (wouldn’t go into neutral and tire air kept going down and light coming on) but I’d still rent from them again in a heartbeat.

These dudes were out of what we needed because of a late start in the morning but they directed us to the next best thing which turned out to be hassle free.
They could of just said sorry your to late or we can’t help you. Super customer service.

These guys are great and will try to help you out the best they can. My experience with them is great, it was just unfortunate that some of the motorcycles that I was looking to rent were unavailable or being serviced.
I got a 3 day rental with the Triumph T100 for 2 days and the Yamaha Bolt for 1 day. The reason I got the Bolt on the third day is because someone had reserved the T100 and they needed it for the reservation. They had a special where if you rent a bike for 2 days, the third is free so I opted for this deal.
The bikes were good to go and in great condition. They’ll let you borrow some gear if needed, ex. Helmet, rain gear, locks. It rained everyday while I was there.
The guys were very helpful an riders themselves so they will definitely help you out with any questions or concerns you might have.
Overall, a great experience with them, would use them again.

These guys are the best! All staff are knowledgeable, super friendly and they have anything you need to cruise around town from bicycles, and minivans, to Audi’s convertibles and awesome road bikes and more. They usually have better prices than your hertz and you dont have to wait in line like most big corporate companies like hertz and them. Plus it always feels good to support your local companies!

I like the guys that work here, and the prices are right if you need a one-​day rental to wander the island. Some of the cars could be in better condition, although they do have some newer rides. We rented a convertible Audi and a little Mazda 3. Both were a little rough around the edges and nearing retirement, but good enough. You can’t drive terribly far (or fast) on Oahu, so good enough is fine. If you got stranded, it’s not like you’re out in the middle of a desert, you’re in Hawaii!
At the time they had three Audis, a couple of camaros, a newer Vette, a jeep, Miatas, and a few miscellaneous smaller cars. I had questions while on the road and it was nice to make a call and reach real people immediately.

We used Chase 3 times during our visit to Honolulu. Nice selection of convertibles and the price is right. They are also very nice people and make you feel very welcome and appreciated. I highly recommend Chase Hawaii Rentals. PS Rent a convertible, peel back the lid and take a cruise up the North Shore — Spectacular.

These Guys are the best on the Island I rented the BMW F800GT It was clean and ran excelent! dont waist any time looking around the few $$ you may save won’t be worth you time. These Guys are the best. Hands down. I road the Island loop, all the way around and had a excelent time with zero problems. They even have a large selection of helmets

My rental bike got vandalized while I was parked at the beach. I returned to chase 20 minutes after they closed and they totally went out of there way to get me into a new bike. Above and beyond. Thank you very much for your friendly service. No back to the road!

I had a good experience with this company. We needed a larger scooter to get around the island during our trip, so we rented a Vespa 300 cc. It worked fine.
I thought the rental rate was high at $ 360 for 6 days, but, it’s Honolulu and their rates seemed comparable to the places I could find on-​line. As soon as we arrived at our hotel, I noticed a little rental place right next door. They may have had slightly better prices, but without reviews to tell how their equipment is, you’re just shooting in the dark.
My only wish would be that a bike as large as a 300 cc should come with a real two-​seater saddle and a trunk. The stock saddle was just too small to be comfortable for trips up to the North Shore and without a trunk, storage is very limited to the space under the seat.
On-​line, the 300 cc was shown as a 2011 model. The bike itself, while we had no mechanical problem, was not a pretty bike.
But, hey, remember, the one thing you don’t want to do during a vacation is to be sitting on the side of the road waiting for help.
By the way, the staff here, is just a great laid-​back staff. I’m hoping the one negative review from this month is a fluke, but they need to take care of that dude. That’s not cool, but there’s always 2 sides to every story. I’ll let you know if I have a billing issue, for sure.

I read all the reviews (positive and negative) so I was very hesitant to go with them but they were very great!!! I had to change my reservation 3 times and they accommodated happily. The staff was great, always followed-​up with my requests, and my transaction was a very, very, very smooth rental for me. Their deposit is $ 500 so be prepared to have that. I’m a Californian and I wish they told me that Lane-​splitting is illegal in Hawaii when I made a reservation with them. I was informed by a friend and their staff confirmed it. Hence, why I changed my reservation. I’m just glad I knew before I arrived in Hawaii. I got a jeep instead and it was great. I highly recommend these guys. I’m definitely going to them for my rental when I come back. I went during thanksgiving weekend and they made my trip awesome.

My wife and I rented two bikes, a Triumph Bonneville for me and a Vespa 300 for her. Check in was super easy as most of the paper work was done and the bikes ready to go. The return process was just as easy.
It seemed like they had a decent selection of bikes and the location is very convenient. Super friendly staff and competitive prices!

I decided to get the loud ‘n fast Nightster 1200 my last day on Oahu and head to North Shore. Good staff and they’re probably the only rental place with a jacket available to borrow in addition to helmets. Just as good service as the last time I was here over 2 years ago.

rented a honda rebel for the day to take up to north shore. They were cool with us doing 24 hours once we realized we wouldn’t make it back in time and it was just another $ 20. No helmet laws and no splitting lanes guys. And the drive up the coast to north shore– totally worth it. :) and the dog at the shop, buster, a brown pit bull, is a sweetie too.

So sad that when we visited in late Feb, 2012 to rent scooters we found out they no longer rent them! :-(These guys are friendly and provide great service so I’m still giving them 5 stars because I imagine if you rent from them, they will be great.

They rent Vespas! That’s the only reason why we used this company. They have a small shop but they also have some bikes and cars set up in a parking lot around the corner (which happened to be right near our hotel). I wanted to rent a Vespa for a day and found these guys online. They have 2 Vespa GTS 300s and 2 LX 150s. I told them my husband and I wanted them for 24 hours and then asked about exra time, they offered me a deal for 2 days and get the 3rd day free. So we had Vespas for 3 days of our trip. Awesome. My only complaint was that the helmets they have were all scratched up and very dirty. Pretty gross actually, it made me realize that I should travel with my own.
Unilocal has a 15% discount which they also applied and we were very satisfied with their service and we would use them again if we were in town.

Went to Big Hakuna first and they didn’t have any sport bikes so i was stuck to choose from a BMW 850 gs or a bunch or cruisers.(also u gotta be 25+ for sport bikes) I wanted the BMW but the owner didn’t feel comfortable letting me rent it and instead put me on some cruiser. Ive only ridden sport bikes and well a cruiser just inst for me.
Since i had no other choice at the time. I took the cruiser around the block to get a feel for it and saw CHASE. They had a ninja zx-​6r sitting out front. Went back returned the cruiser. Charged me $ 10 bucks cause they went through all the paperwork and the owner gave me some basic training bs… anyways i rushed over to CHASE and got the ninja i saw. It was the last sport bike they had.
The bike was in great condition and everything was functioning properly. I took it around the island and had a great time. Next time im in the area I will just go str8 to Chase rentals.
