Reasonable pizza but a bit disappointing. Alas, you can’t forestall your trip to the East Coast by coming here. I’m still waiting to find a good pizza place on the island, it would be great if we could find a New York-style place. Am I hoping for too much? This place is next to Serg’s and parking can be a challenge. Both restaurants are served by one very small parking lot.

I was looking for a good pizza to take to work for dinner, and everyone at the office said to go here! So I got some delicious pies for the office! I only got to eat 2 slices(which is actually quite a lot!) and it was one of the better NY style pizzas that I have had. Normally I much prefer the Chicago style deep dish, but this was really giving it a run for it’s money. Speaking of money — it didn’t cost that much either! If you’re in the mood for a NY style pizza(don’t get too many toppings — fewer is better) make sure to pick one up here!

How I love thin, hot, crispy pizza!!! Boston’s has yet to fail me. Personal favorites are the spinach and garlic, Bostons special, and plain cheese. The crust is always so thin and crisp and the pizzas are so delicate but filling. I always take out since the picnic tables are always dirty, or it’s rainy in Manoa. But when I get home, my pizzas are still piping hot and NOTSOGGYATALL! However if I may express one thing, I wish the cashier was a bit kinder. At times it feels that I’m unwanted business in Bostons. I understand that she may be cranky because it is so hot in the store front! But I feel relieved to get my order and drive away from there to enjoy my slices in peace at home. With a cold one, of course ;)

I gotta give it up for my favorite pizza on the island! Boston’s is a great slice of pizza. They have multiple locations for your convince. Kaimuki was the original and expanded from there. I would say that I frequent the Kaimuki location most often out of Manoa, Hawaii Kai and Kaimuki. Each of the restaurants are set up the same. They have large glass windows that you can see right when you walk in. They have multiple pies in there all day. It’s a great grab and go style set-up. Don’t let that scare you though because you can also sit and dine-in! Be careful when ordering the pizza. One slice is actually two and they are large! One slice is ¼ of a whole pie. That is more than enough for me and most people that order. It has excellent dough and the sauce is not too thick. They always are using the freshest ingredients as well! I recently took my friend who is born and raised in New York, who told me that, Boston’s compares to anywhere he’s had! I mean come on, that’s good enough for me even if my friend isn’t a food critic. I highly recommend ordering from Boston’s before anywhere on the island!

Boston’s is my favorite place on Oahu to get pizza! Nothing beats their spinach and garlic(two HUGE slices) for around $ 6.50. Im also so fortunate that Boston’s is a couple minute walk from my house, so I can burn some calories in order to make room for more. Boston’s pizza has always been a family favorite and despite how it can get a little toasty waiting in Boston’s for your order, grab it to go and enjoy a little slice of heaven!

Mom wanted to eat at Boston Pizza so we went here for lunch. I got confused when I first walked in here, because my mom said that each order was 2 slices of pizza. When I asked the lady(owner) behind the counter about two slices in one order, she abruptly and rudely said, «What are you talking about? … Each order is ¼ of the pie». Got it. You have large orders, but you don’t have to be rude about my question. I was a first time customer. Mom got the spinach and garlic pizza, which she enjoyed. I got the Pepperoni Mushroom pizza which was okay. I liked the fact that the pizza has a thin crust. Toppings are as you can expect — not skimpy and not over generous. Pizza orders are $ 6.50+ a slice. Worth it. Ms Owner suddenly changed her attitude towards me when she noticed that I started to take pictures of the restaurant. Yes, another Unilocaler to help spread the word about your restaurant. It was a hot day and I’ll chalk up her bad attitude to the heat in the kitchen. Still, the place makes reasonably good pizza. Consistently good pizza. However, the staff could smile more or at least appear happy to have a job. It’s possible that they were busy when I was there but the workers did not appear to be in a good mood.

Stopped in for a quick dinner — picked out a few slices from the case and POOF! Out they came minutes later, nice and hot! Giving this one 3 ½ stars. Single slices run about $ 6+ depending on the amount of toppings you get on your pre-done pizza. The slices are ¼ of the entire pizza and very large — equal to at least 2 big slices. I like that Boston’s crust isn’t greasy. Parking can be a challenge with only about 4 – 5 stalls out front and a shared lot with a few other food establishments(which means meal times=peak times). Staff is friendly. They have a small outdoor area for eating and restrooms on the opposite side of the building.

Pizza: 4 stars Service: 2 stars I asked for fresh mozzarella over the phone, the woman repeated my order back to me –sans mozzarella– so I reiterated«fresh mozzarella.» She said, «oh, yes.» Went to pick up my order(which was finished in the time they quoted). She read the order on the box to make sure it was mine –without reading«mozzarella” – so I asked to make sure, «with fresh mozzarella, right?» She responded, «right, yes.» Surprise! No fresh mozzarella. A job well done, indeed.

I feel sorry for these guys with the teeny tiny parking lot that’s shared with Serg’s. Our pizzas were good though it did take some time for our order. Big portions and like that they make half/half pies.

I have lived on the islands for almost 15 years and this is the best slice I’ve had so far. The crust was crunchy and fresh. The sauce was a little sweet but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Terrific fresh ingredients. The lanai may be barebones, but it is a pleasure to be able to eat a slice outside.

This place is time tested. Their pizza is great, slices are huge. It’s one of those places that I crave now. Remember the days, especially in college when someone says let’s go get pizza, and everyone gets excited? This is one of those places where now I can say to my kids let’s go get pizza and everyone including me is excited!

Tried this place for the first time a few weeks ago when I was 41 weeks pregnant, starving and looking to try to move my baby out of me. It’s so hard to find good/decent pizza that delivers. Pizza Hut is okay but working at a school I’m so over Pizza Hut as that’s all we order from. Really wanted JJ Dolan’s garlic spinach with ricotta pizza but going to JJ Dolan’s pregnant or trying to find parking down there pau hana is a batch so started digging around Unilocal and found Boston Pizza. They deliver via a 3rd party delivery service but the charge is only $ 8. This pizza was not bad and like other said it’s HUGE, so really you get more bang for you buck IMO. We got the big red pizza(the tomato, spinach garlic — yum!) and the All meat one. The Red pizza was better. I’ll have to try the white pie next time but yes, I’ll come back here as you can taste the quality of the pizza and again it’s a huge pizza.

Boston’s Pizza serves pizza by the slice and whole pies. The crust for their white and red pies have a crunchy, slightly charred exterior and a chewy, pillowy interior. Toppings range from simple Mushroom or Pepperoni to the Boston’s Special(their surpreme) and unique combos like Bacon-Pepperoni-Pineapple and Spinach-Tomato-Garlic. Walk-in and pick out already made slices that they’ll re-heat for you or order a whole pie with your choice of toppings. If you do check them out there is a small parking lot and outdoor, covered seating or get your pizza to go.

I’ve been coming here since high school and Boston’s never disappoints! Their«single slice» is actually like ¼ of a huge pizza. Then they cut it into two(still generous) slices. My husband and I usually pick out two each, which means we get the huge pizza with 8 slices. Comes out to around $ 28 and is enough for dinner and both our lunches the next day(I’m one of those who doesn’t mind cold pizza). It’s a deal. My faves are the spinach/mushroom(or tomatoes)/garlic and the BBQ chicken. I love their crust because it’s not oily at all. I hate super buttery and oily crusts(think Pizza Hut personal pan). The only things I wish they’d think about is to offer breadsticks and create a signature garlic butter sauce!!! :)

No two Boston Pizza’s are created equally! No two slices of Boston Pizza look alike! No two Boston Pizza tables are ever sparkling clean! Oh, and what’s up with the Boston Red Sox?! So, whatever happened to Boston’s Marky Mark & the… Hey, but you know what? I still dig this pizzeria in my ‘hood called… BOSTONPIZZAMANOA! A little bit of Boston in Manoa! Okay, I know it’s a franchise with many locations on Oahu: Kaimuki, Aiea, Hawaii Kai and here in Manoa! Yet, many are called«Boston Style» which is a slight change in names. I mean is it really the same? No matter… ‘Cause I really dig the one in Manoa… BOSTONPIZZAMANOA! 1. LOCATION: The location is in breezy Manoa, so even with the hot Hawaiian sun — it rarely gets hot under the canopy here. Located conveniently on E. Manoa Rd. and yes, private parking is usually available. If not, it shares parking with Serg’s, too. In fact, Lynne H. just reminded me this was the old Tommy’s Shell Gasoline Service Station back in the day! She’s right! How cool is that?! 2. STAFF: I’ve never had a problem here. I have to say the Latin(I think) female one is the nicest of the herd, but overall all seem pretty decent. Only good vibrations! 3. AMBIANCE: Well, not exactly Gary Danko standards, but if you like earthy & recycled you got that here! The ocean mural is really cool, too! Tip: bring a wet napkin, so you can wipe down the outdoor table. Yup, you should. 4. PIZZA: The pizza is why you’re here! My only suggestion is to always get the freshest choice if you only want a slice! If you can do that… You’ll get a heavenly thin crust with the freshest toppings! Piping hot to your belly! So yup, I recommend… BOSTONPIZZAMANOA! If you love thin crust and big slices come here! Just remember to ignore any rhyme or reason in your ordering and simply get the«freshest looking one». That’s usually the key here, unless you’re ordering an entire pie, in this case it’s made to order! On my last visit I had the Pepperoni & Mushrooms and once again it didn’t disappoint! My Bruddah from another Moddah, Fran C., is the Duke here, and trust me this big guy knows his grinds! So, it must be yum, right?! Yup, it is! Just remember… «freshest looking one!» So, what ever happened to Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch? Well, of course«Marky» is really Mark Wahlberg, who went on to become a very successful actor! Donnie Walhberg ended up a success in his own right and currently on a reality show or two. He cooks yum burgers, too! The rest of the Funky Bunch? I have no clue! I mean C’mon now one was named«Booty Inspector!» C’mon now Please! What a horri-horrible group from Boston! Well, at least Boston Pizza Manoa is delicious, pseudo Boston or not… Go get a slice! You won’t regret it! «Come on, come on Feel it, feel it Feel the vibration It’s such a good vibration It’s such a sweet sensation It’s such a good vibration It’s such a sweet sensation Vibrations good like Sunkist Many wanna know who done this Marky Mark and I’m here to move you Rhymes will groove you And I’m here to prove to you…» OVERALLGRADE: 4.0-STARS!(Solid!) This experience doesn’t even deserve a star. My family has had the SAME experience as fellow Jorma W.‘s review down there. not once but TWICE in one month! My father in law called ahead to order a pizza, went down 20 minutes later, & come to find out, they didn’t even start making his pizza. He waited an extra 10 minutes. He vowed never to go back to that kind of service. My husband loves Boston pizza and would eat it every week if he could. Until the same thing happened to his mom. She ordered the pizza THEREINTHESTORE, said she’d come right back to leave and pick up other food we ordered from another restaurant, came back 15 minutes later, ANDTHEYDIDNTEVENSTARTTHEPIZZAYET! There wasn’t a long wait, yet she waited an extra 20 minutes!!! And they ended up getting the pizza wrong. If it happened twice to my own family members, it makes me wonder how many times it’s actually happening to other people.

If you’ve never been to Boston’s Pizza, you have no idea what you’re missing! Thin crust pizza with just the right amount of cheese, sauce and toppings! These guys put Costco portions to shame! Not as good on the price, but I wish we had a few of these on Maui! Small parking lot and not much street parking, so plan ahead. Call in or park up the road and walk. They’re near the Manoa Marketplace, but that parking lot is normally packed as well! One thing about Manoa, though, is it’s a super nice town, so a stroll there is pretty relaxing, and when your reward is a slice or two of the pizza here, walking is worth it! I believe they do delivery as well, or at least they used to, so it could be convenient for the lucky college bastards nearby! Either way, the buses run nearby as well, so convenient if you get the munchies! Oh, Boston Pizza, I miss you so…

Pizza! Manoa Boston Pizza I think is the best Boston pizza on the island. Most of the other Boston restaurants their employees are quite rude and sassy. Here in Manoa, they’re always smiling and friendly. That must be their secret ingredient that makes their pizzas better than the rest. I’ll defiantly keep coming back although boston prices are a bit on the steep side which keeps me from giving them 5 stars. 4.5 stars total. ;)

After ballin’ this afternoon, it was time for lunch. I was jonesing for some good ol’ pizza, and I wanted something real fast & quick cuz it was late, and we were hungry! We drove to the Kaimuki Boston Style Pizza joint, but they were busy today, and there was no parking… I then suggest to my friend that we go to and try the Boston Pizza in Manoa. I’ve often drove by this pizza joint, but never dropped in to try their pizza & service. It’s always good to try new places to compare the various Boston’s Pizza locations, and I’m glad I dropped into the Manoa location. There was lots of parking, and as I walked into the pizza joint, I asked the lady if it was okay to park by the«Mexican restaurant side»? She was friendly, & told me that they shared the parking lot, and that was not a problem… Just an FYI… there is no inside seating, what you do is go inside to order your pizza, then you take your slices outside, & sit on some tables(yes, they were clean) that are covered by some outside tarp. To me it did not bother me at all as when I go to the Kaimuki location, there is seating inside, but no air conditioner so it’s quite hot when I’m gnawing on my pizza when I eat at the Kaimuki location. At least today, when I was sitting outside at the Manoa location, there was a breeze, so it was way much cooler. From there, we ordered our pizza’s…I ordered the«Garlic Spinach» slice… it had so much garlic, and spinach on it that I can guarantee I will not get bitten by a vampire tonight… and maybe the next night after, if I fart out some of that garlic gas! My friend ordered the«Big Red» slice… And of course, I had mentioned earlier that we were very very hungry, so we also split a «Pepperoni Mushroom» slice too! Ummmmmmm nom, nom, nom, nom! The pizza was great, & very consistent! I normally go to the Kaimuki location when I’m thinking of Boston’s Pizza, but I think I found me a new favorite location! The reason I liked this location was the ample parking, and I also noticed the pizza slices were cheaper than the Kaimuki location… I guess the Boston Pizza locations must be franchised out, so each location makes their own prices. Of course the Kaimuki location does have a larger selection of pizza creations, but I for one am a creature of habit, and more or less eat the same thing over and over again. The pizza slices from the Manoa locations were large & piping hot when we received them. Crust of the pizza was thin, but it had crunch, & a slight doughyness to it. A great value, and I can guarantee I will be back for more!
