I was just vacationing there with my family and wanting to taste the famous Malasadas when my rent a car was towed. I was parked around 3 min when I came back my car was gone. I saw a van with cameras around the vehicle parked around that parking lot. Asked one of the guys and said it was towed. Not knowing that guy was part of booda towing scam. He watches cars park and then dispatch booda towing to tow the car. Wow this is how local Hawaiian treat tourist and scam them with their hard earn vacation money. I was with my wife and my 3 year son. So we end up taking the taxi to booda towing costing us more money and booda towing charged us $ 200. All booda staff I hope you guys rot in hell. I believe the heaven from above has a plan for you guys.

Need to be shutdown, end of story. They charged us an extra $ 5 because they forgot how to count money? Call the police, as soon as you are towed by them. Stay away from 909 Parking lot, they have multiple spotters waiting to call anyone walking to Leonards.

Terrible company — needs to be shut down.
I warned some people not to park by leanards bakery because they were booting everyone and demanding 160 upfront in cash.
They threatened to boot my car in the legal parking area because I walked across the street to warn someone. The next day I did the same thing and parked on the street. I came back to find my four tyres slashed — presumably as a warning not to be helping people.
I cant beleive Hawaii tolerates this sort of behavior.

If you get towed by this co. I would just call police because they constantly break the law. They will tow, even if you come out while your car is being hooked up or while they are driving w/​car but you can still see and talk to them. The manager has tattoos all over his face and bald head. Looks like a convicted murdered. There is a very fat, short idiot, one of the tow guys, who will argue just because he loves to argue. They do have spotters, esp. at Manoa Marketplace. They are scum.
