Our island has it all… beautiful vistas, spectacular valleys, raging oceans, and stunning sunsets. The Hawaiian culture of Aloha — really connecting and giving to others unconditionally — if exported could transform the world.
For over 20 years I’ve been a commercial photographer, teacher and documentary filmmaker. I look forward to meeting you real soon. Aloha
Meet the Business Owner
Marie T.
Business Owner
After graduating from the University of Davis, California with a Design and Anthropology degree I lived in Japan. Once there I taught English and practiced my craft of editorial photography. My first gallery show was in Tokyo .
Leaving Japan I backpacked South East Asia for six months while photographing local customs, festivals and celebrations. The photographs were published in a coffee table book «The Shining Cloth».
Moving back to California I started a commercial photography career and began making documentaries.
I started Blue Hawaii Photo Tours as a way to share my photography experience, love of Oahu, and aloha with visitors.
