Business Owner

In the auto body industry for 40 years since my father introduced me when I was growing up. Painted my first car at 12 years old. From that point on my love and passion for automobiles grew. Today I am a shop owner after 24 years being a market sales manager and paint rep for Sherwin Williams and Dupont automotive paints.

Today I am an ICAR certified and a ICAR instructor, ASE certified, Standox Meister painter, Dupont certified, etc…

Active with car shows and judging of sbow cars.

I am married with 4 sons.

Great work!!!
My rear bumper was damaged and the company took care of me. I will attach pictures later on. Looking forward to getting my interior gauge pods painted and my new hood cleared.

Picked up the vehicle and guess what. rear light reflector missing and drove off the driveway with the front bumper not mounted with the original hardware and it fell right off. George had the audacity to raise his voice and brought up unnecessary comments that had nothing to do with the paint. Like I said earlier, most unprofessional business I’ve ever dealt with. Left the shop immediately and dropped off the vehicle to a business more worthy of our time and money!

Automotive Concepts — A look around Georges shop you can see he’s been there, done that… and is still doing it… He employs a group of young men that he works alongside on their projects…
Plenty shops only will do the easy work, fenders, cut and paste… George will take on non typical fabrication jobs like mine… with simple and clear communication… plenty pictures and pride in quality of craftsmanship…
If you can do the custom stuff well, the typical should be well in hand…

I was making a sharp turn in my building’s garage and heard that horrible sound of metal crunching. I needed a new passenger door, a runner panel and new paint. My brother-​in-​law recommended Auto Concepts and the service by George was caring, patience and professional. The car looked brand new and I would recommend them for any car repair needs.

Went to Automotive Concepts for an estimate and met George Dumlao. He is very honest and friendly. I needed some rust work, body kit installation, and painting done. He fully explained how he deals with rust step by step, which I enjoyed. He inspected the body kit to make sure it wasn’t a cheap imitation. We set up a appointment and a approx. due date. It was finished on-​time, as estimated, and it looked spectacular! He even had my car detailed! Thanks again George! Awesome job!

George Dumlao at Automotive Concepts gave me an itemized estimate which told me exactly what I was paying for. He is very personable and made it easy for me to get the body work done on my car. He had it done in only a couple of days and my friends couldn’t even tell where the dent originally was because he did such an excellent job on it.
