When you go to the salon, you want to walk out feeling great and that’s how I felt. Angie really took the time to make sure I was getting what I wanted. I also really like the hair washing stations because they’re set up in a way that is comfortable to your neck.

Angie gives a great haircut for men. She’s detail oriented, honest, and wants to give you the cut that you want. Plus she washes your hair before, and rinses your hair after, for an affordable rate. I have not found another shop that rinses before and after. I can go to straight back to work without shedding like a dog with an itchy collar. Plus she’s got a great sense of humor. I highly recommend Angie!

I travel a lot and when I need to I’ll get a hair cut and beard trim I usually wait till I can get Chris at Angie’s salon to fix me up. Although waiting is inconvenient this is the best salon I have found in Kapahulu area or downtown San Francisco. Chris is meticulous and patient, all at a very economical price.
I would highly recommend this salon and have recommended it as well to my parents when they visit the Oahu

The best haircuts I’ve gotten in a long, long time. Angie makes a $ 16 men’s haircut feel like a $ 50 haircut! She takes such pride in her work, and it really shows. The salon is laid-​back and she’s a pleasure to talk to, very funny and so nice. I’ve left Oahu for the mainland temporarily, and I’m definitely missing Angie’s! Can’t wait to get back Hawaii and into Angie’s chair for another awesome haircut.

My fav stylist Angie always make noise as I always coming with dry hair n tangle. She told me all t technique n also the right stuffs for my hair but I’m soooo lazy. Lol. She always giving me advise for hair care like mom to a daughter as she said I had beautiful hair but damaged due too much chemical n also bleaching. I will try to tk care my hair at home. Will see. Recommended as she’s fantastic stylish n also caring

No conditioner and my hair dreadlocked as she tried combing it out. Lost a chunk! Never in my life has this happened!!! She said she rinsed the conditioner out thoroughly — next time she won’t be so thorough. REALLY??? There will NEVER be a «next time»!!! NEVER!!!

Angie is my hairstylist! I was so fortunate to have found her about a year ago. Always a great cut and style and always fun to go to her shop.

Since moving to Kapahulu from Mililani 3 years ago I have been scared to change my hair stylist Marina at Regis in Pearlridge Mall. I finally built up the courage to try a new hair stylist near my home. I checked Unilocal for the reviews and was impressed with the very good comments by Angie’s new customers.
I just came home from my first hair cut with Angie and wanted to submit my review since I am so pleased with my hair cut that Angie understood what I wanted. All the previous positive Unilocal comments were exactly how I felt after seeing Angie. She is so nice and has over 25 years of experience. Since she is located close to Waikiki, she has tourists that have come to her shop besides the locals. I think there is parking in the back of the building as well as street parking on Kapahulu Ave and the side streets.
I highly recommend anyone, ladies and gentlemen to have Angie as their permanent hair stylist. BTW her prices are very reasonable. She will order special hair products if you need. Mahalo to Angie.

I do not trust ANYONE with my hair. I went here because my boyfriend recommended Angie (more like forced me to go…). Honestly, I don’t regret it though :)
I just went to get my hair thinned and trim my ends. I have really thick hair, but Angie was really hesitant to thin it because she thought my hair was nice. Despite that, she did what I wanted and thinned it out perfectly. I’m really happy with how my hair came out, even though I was initially terrified to let her even touch it. She cut off half an inch, which is how much I asked her to cut. Normally, other salons go against my wishes and cut more than I ask. She also fixed up my hair, since the last salon I went to cut it crooked -.- At $ 20, it’s not a bad price!
As a person, Angie’s really sweet. You can tell she really cares about her customers and tries her best to fulfill their wants and needs. Go see Angie! It’s definitely worth it ~

Got my hair cut on Oct 14^th by Angie (typical short Asian cut). Came here after lunch and just walked in. Angie is extremely nice and talkative. Though I normally don’t get a shampoo, she suggested it which felt really nice after walking around the Hawaii heat and humidity. After the cut, she also rinsed and styled my hair. I would definitely be a regular if I lived here.

Angie is a great haircutter. Very neat and precise. Does a good job.
Not great in styling your hair after the cut, though. So, go for the cut, but maybe you need to re-​style it afterwards.
