Amelia Hair And Makeup

Growing up in Hawai’i with blonde hair is a hard thing to do! There are very few people whom I trust with my blonde highlights, and Amelia, is by far the best on the island! Most times when I would get my hair highlighted, the highlights would come out brassy and orangish! YUCK! Amelia, however, is FANTASTIC. I highly recommend her and I have seen her work on brunettes, and other blondes alike.
She also does makeup! Though she has never done my makeup, she does my bosses makeup quite often, and it always looks fabulous.

Amelia was wonderful to work with. She took time to answer my questions and concerns with my hair and make-​up. She showed me step by step how to apply make-​up for my middle age skin. Not only that but she recommended what make-​up to purchase considering my budget. I felt she gave me a whole new way to approach make-​up and I am thrilled with her advice. Because I have fine hair it can be very challenging but Amelia showed me the products and tools I need to keep my hair looking beautiful! I have never had a better outcome with a hair stylist. I highly recommend Amelia for hair or make-​up. She is truly very talented and takes the time and effort to make sure her clients feel special and look better than ever.

I hardly trust anybody with my hair & makeup but Amelia is very patient with me and all of my crazy requests. I love that she is very thorough and never rushes through. I was especially impressed with the ombré she did on my hair and I got a lot of compliments on it and people taking pictures of my hair to bring to their stylist.(none of theirs turned out as good) ;)

Amelia is awesome! She has done my hair several times and I trust her completely. I am always complimented on the way my hair looks. She provides mobile services — so she comes to my house to cut and style my hair. Way better than having to hire a babysitter, find parking, etc. Plus, she is such a sweet girl. In addition to regular hair cuts and styles, she can also do event make up. She did my comic book make-​up and hair for a charity event I went to and I was thrilled with the result. I have also referred my sister-​in-​law and other relatives to her all of whom have been amazed by her skills. Amelia is extremely versatile. She can do natural make-​up (like for my sis-​in-​law), more glamorous, theatrical — just tell her what you want and she can deliver it. She is the only person in Hawaii who can do an awesome blow out too. Everyone else here just flat irons my curly hair, but Amelia takes the time to actually blow out my hair the way I used to get done in NYC.
