They have a really nice collection of Kbrands and Etc, nothing really from custom makers but all top kbrand models. The worker I met was a Chinese man, Could not understand his English plus dose not even know how to play the ukulele or know much about them. How can one work a a Ukulele shop but not know anything about it? Weird but whatever. Honestly the prices of there ukuleles were a bit higher then all the other shops ive visited.

We walked by the Kalia tower for coffee and stumbled on this shop. They have many types of ukalele with reasonable and vareity of price range(from $ 40 to $ 1,000). The guy at the store is quite knowledgeable and certainly can play ukalele. We bargained for a beautiful mahogany one with a hard case included for $ 160 and a quick lesson. We have bought ukalele before at stores as well as online… so, we don’t think it is a bad deal for a beautiful music instrument or souvenir!

The ukulele is as Hawaiian as Pineapple. When I hear the happy sound of one, it instantly puts a smile on my face. So, when I realized that I had not yet gotten my boyfriend a birthday gift and he has really wanted a nice uke for quite some time now, I thought what better place to get one than in Hawaii. So, while on a business trip to the Hilton Hawaiian Village, I stopped into Aloha Ukulele in one of the resort towers. It is a rather small shop that is almost entirely devoted to the uke. With everything from toy ukes to real deal $ 5K ukes, this shop has a wide range of ukuleles for every budget. Sopranos, concert, tenors she has em all. The woman who mans or I guess it would be more like womans the shop knows a great deal about the ukes she sells. She can tell you what they are made of, where they were made, she will even pull it down and play it for you. After a few days of research and thought I ended up purchasing a beautiful tenor uke by a Hawaiian company(although the wood is not Koa which I would prefer, but for $ 400, good luck finding a Hawaiian made Koa uke for that much). And if you are worried about pricing, I checked the model online, and let me tell you, her prices are very fair. If you can, try to bargain with her, but she is pretty firm with her prices, especially if the uke you want is on sale.
