Aloha Pantry is located on the 3rd floor of 677 Ala Moana building. It is the ONLY convenience store that is within walking distance. The lady sells food, drinks and individually packaged snacks bought from Costco or Sam’s Club. She also makes breakfast and lunch items every day, occasionally modifying the items available. She tries to provide healthy and hearty options at a reasonable price. Most snacks are around $ 2 and food is generally $ 5 – 7. The store accepts cash or credit card. Great if you work in the building or are looking for a quick meal.

Great place to get food when you’re on the go. Even though it’s the only place to get food in the building, it’s worth going to for breakfast or lunch. I’m always greeted with a friendly smile and when leaving too. Sometimes the owner would take orders for any food that she is able to make, which pretty much satisfies my cravings. It’s all homemade food too. The rest of the foods are and items are store bought foods.

Well, it *is* the only place to get food within 677 Ala Moana Boulevard(the old Gold Bond Building) and though the snacks and pre-packaged items are a bit pricey(though pretty much in line with this type of shop, elsewhere) the food items they prepare… small bentos, sandwiches, fruit and cheese packs, etc. are reasonable priced, fresh and quite good. It seems to be a family run business, though there is usually one particular woman who’s there running the shop. Though English is clearly not her first language, she’s very friendly and helpful and always greets you with a «good morning» or «hello» and always wishes you to «have a nice day», when you leave. For a shop of it’s kind, the selection is very good, the food is fresh and tasty and the service is always nice, giving one a very positive overall experience.
