History

Established in 2015.

Incorporated in late 2015, Aloha Overstock is the fusion of two Oahu businesses. Owens Marketing, known for buying and selling surplus and overstock inventories in the state of Hawaii, and Intrade Corporation, the state of Hawaii’s first, and largest full range image supplies broker, have come together in a single organization.

Aloha Overstock continues Intrade Corporation’s long tradition of working with all on-​island military recycling programs, collecting from an extensive and growing list of corporations and organizations, and establishing collection programs in Oahu’s schools.

Aloha Overstock also picks up where Owens Marketing left off, purchasing surplus and excess inventories from a variety of businesses and finding new and creative ways to market and sell them.

Aloha Overstock will continue to operate in a way that ensures sustainability, profitability, and foster beneficial relationships among all our stake holders.

Meet the Business Owner

Morgan O.

Business Owner

Our Owner, Morgan Owens, was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. Morgan attended Punahou School and then went on to graduate from the University of Hawaii where he received his Bachelors of Education.

After teaching 4^th grade for a couple of years, Morgan took the chance at becoming a Tech Coordinator at a school in Kalihi on the island of Oahu. Soon after, Morgan began selling items on Ebay on the side, and soon it became clear there was a business to be made of it. In mid-​2008, Morgan left the Department of Education and started Owens Marketing.

Now, after 7 years of running Owens Marketing, Morgan is taking the bold step of starting yet another business, Aloha Overstock Corporation.
