We are a small multispecialty group (husband and wife) focusing on primary care internal medicine and nephrology. We worked for larger medical groups on the Mainland for several years. Soon, we realized that in order to provide patients with the type of care we wanted, we needed to start our own practice. Our primary focus is individuality and accessibility. Individuality of care means that we will spend the time to listen to your needs. Accessibility of care means that we will strive to meet your needs in a quick and timely fashion. I got a really bad allergic reaction to a hydrocolloid adhesive pad I bought from Longs. My leg was ok but progressively got worse. I didn’t have a PCP so I went to Straub Clinic in Waikiki and Queen’s Emergency. The doctors kept throwing more prescriptions at me that kept making things worse. So, I stopped taking it for a few days and started to improve. Around this time, I was referred to Dr. Monsicha Dinh.
Unlike other doctors who probably would’ve kept saying TAKE ALL THE PILLS, she listened to what happened after the first antibiotic pill (allergic reaction), second antibiotic prescription (allergic reaction) and then listened to my suggestion of getting off all pills. She agreed and said to come back so she can check my progress.
Turns out, I didn’t need any pills. I just needed to ride it out but having Dr. Dinh actually listen to me and be there to make sure my progress was good was so helpful. I’m glad I found her.

Dr. Jason and Monica Dihn are wonderful people. I never feel rushed when I visit them. They take the time to answer any questions and explain things completely. They are almost always on time and are very personable. If you need a good internist (Dr. Monica) or a nephrologist (Dr. Jason) come here!
