This is the best pizza I have had outside of Italy. What a strange location but hey it was darn good pizza. The wood burning oven was made in a converted van or something. All the ingredients are super fresh and you can tell they make their own red sauce. It is all about the food here. Notting more. We brought our own drinks from the convenience store next door. It was a beautiful evening to sit outdoors on the 1 and only picnic table. Some Sketchy patrons but hey, we came to eat not socialize. Hands down a winner for taste. Don’t come for the atmosphere. It does not exist. But come and sample real Italian pizza made by Italian people like it’s meant to be

Does anyone know where he went? This was by far the best pizza on the island and being from the east coast and knowing my New York and Boston pizza, this was easily top 5 best pizzas I’ve ever eaten. Where did you go??? Sad, crying.

Service was weird – I tried to call an order in and some guy with a Russian accent refused and said to come in first. There goes saving some time. The pizzas are all one size and cost $ 24. We ordered a half veggie half olive pizza and the Russian guy seemed confused but the Italian guy, who I’m assuming is the owner, said that was fine. The pizza was thin crust and tasty, made from scratch. The price was fair given the quality.

Best Sicilian style pizza while it lasted. The location had just the right amount of seating to accommodate a healthy crowd. Easily accessible with a parking garage literally right next door. Good luck at your new location!

With a heavy heart we in Waikiki are saying«Aloha» to Agostino’s tonight. He is leaving to open a full restaurant in San Antionio, TX(yeah you read that right!). It will also be called«Agostino’s» and have pasta, wine, and of course — pizza!!! Texas you don’t know how lucky you are!

Wood fire Pizza Heaven! Please keep in mind not everyone knows the story about this place. They don’t have a real hours of operation. They only make like 100 dough a day and stay open until they sell out. It used to be just the wood fire grill and they built on. They staff is semi friendly and they only serve pizza. You can walk right down the street to the market and grab beer or soda or whatever your heart desires. This actually worked out perfect for us because when we got back our pizza was ready. They have very limited seating. Maybe two or three tables of 4 – 6. We sat down and started to dig in. The pizza very good my only objection was some of it was a little too burnt. I like some burnt parts but the whole crust on the last slice was done for. Otherwise we each got two slice and left with our tummies full and satisfied. Defiantly a small treasure to check out on the island.

Wow!!! What a true artist when it comes to making you the pizza… I asked for him to surprise me and he really did. I am a little late writing this review but here I am, well I had a wonderfully experience with buying… A little pricy but hey everything is pricy in HI, it took him longer to prep the pizza than to actually cook it in the stove fire oven, which by the way looked pretty cool, and eating was amazing, perfect blend of all the ingredients and everything come out perfect and just simply amazing… I deff will tell others to try this little pizza place (Also in a pretty accessible place to have it)

I walk up to the table and order a slice of pizza. The guy turns around, huffs, and says«we don’t have any made, want to order something else?» umm, no. So he calls to the guy inside making pies and has him come out to try and change my mind as well. «it will be at least 20 minutes wait» OK I say. Having heard the previous customer get barked at for asking for a drink, I knew the routine. Go across the street to the abc store. The pizza arrived, the bottom was mostly burnt and the flavor was… Not there. Tasteless. Sauce was like water. I’m not sure if this is all a new development, but on my next visit I’ll skip this place.

I didn’t get to read all of the reviews to determine if my guess is right but I’m pretty sure that this guy is the guy who was on the side of the road in Waianae. My bf and I ate at his place twice. making it a point to eat there whenever we got out that way. But after the 2nd time we ate there, we never saw him again! Have I found him? This remains to be seen but I am pretty sure this is the guy. Wonderful brick oven pizza. 90 seconds done and oh so delicious! He built his own oven! Can’t wait to get out that way! Will update as soon as I try it!

When I told my cousins I was going to Oahu for a week, they told me I had to check out Agostino’s. When they said it was a pizza guy who sold pizza from a cart, I was a bit iffy… But man am I glad we decided to go. I couldn’t believe how fast a pizza was cooked in the ONE oven they had. We timed it and it was an average of about 1 minute and 30 seconds per pizza. We had the special pizza without the mushrooms. There was 4 of us, so we each got to eat 2 slices… Which was perfect. It’s better to buy a whole pizza than just buying a slice. A whole pizza cost $ 24 which would be $ 3 a slice. If you bought a single slice it would be $ 6. If you’re ever in the Waikiki area, be sure to check out Agostino’s… You will not be disappointed.

Pizza was excellent! Price is good. A small pizza is basically 3 slices well worth it for individual. Guy making the pizza was friendly but wouldn’t tell me his secret dough recipe. Average wait for pizza is 30min. Def worth the wait!!!

Once again, Agostino never disappoints. If you are feeling adventurous, ask him to make you whatever he wants. If you’re lucky, he will make you a kind of experimental pizza. My friends and I ordered two pizzas the other night, asking Agostino to just make whatever he wants. I won’t get into too much detail, but you might see some new additions to the menu in the coming months. Everything was delicious, and we washed it all down with a nice bottle of wine. Gotta love BYOB establishments. We actually came over to Agostino’s after tailgating the Jack Johnson concert at the Waikiki Shell. A better idea would have been to buy a couple of pies and bring them to Kapiolani Park, so we could enjoy some awesome pizza as Jack Johnson serenaded us from the nearby shell. In conclusion, it doesn’t matter when you eat Agostino’s. It is always good.

Came back again for more pizza and our experience here gets better and better. I’m a big ranch and cheese on my pizza kind if gal but agostinas doesn’t provide any of that yet I keep coming back for more. It doesn’t need anything else – so good just as it is! This time he made one of his new pizza dishes that he plans on selling within the next couple of months. The salmon special – when you see it on the menu it’s a must!!! My favorite pizza there. They also put in more dining tables so now you can purchase a bottle of wine from the ABCSTORE across the street, bring it back and drink/dine right there.

We came here on the advice of a friend, and that friend can now be entrusted with our lives. The pizza is simply amazing. I’ve always been a fan of New York style, but the Sicilian just knocked it out of the park. The pepperonis where huge and spicy. The sauce was just enough without being overpowering. The brick oven made it perfection. We might come back to Hawaii just for this.

We had friend staying right near us off of Prince Edward at the Monarch. From their 25th floor pad you can see Agostino’s wood burning oven food cart thingy. You can also see the crowd of people waiting for their pies. Our friends said this pizza was the pizza to beat all pizza. Period. I went down with my buddy to pick up the pizzas and noticed a debonair Italian(Mr Agostino?) making piza after pizza with flair and precision. The pizzas came out thin, beautifully mis-shaped and gooey with richness. I can’t even describe the pizzas my buddy ordered. One had red peppers and pepperoni that was somewhat sweet and the other had salami, onions and sausage which was bit hot. Both were winners and were definitely come back worthy! I am a pizza fanatic. I could have pizza every single day of my life and then again in the after life, over and over again. I love this pizza as much as I love impossibles in the North Shore, Campagnola Roma in Vancouver East, Farina and Nicli.(trust me you gotta get to try these if you love pizza) If not, have this one. g

Who would ever imagine a wood fire pizza oven on the streets of Waikiki? Tip 1: It’s on the sidewalk as a walk up pizza stop. Do NOT look for a walk in establishment! Tip 2: Bring cash, slices are $ 6, whole pies are $ 24 I had ran the Aloha Spartan Race this day and had been swimming at Waikiki in the late afternoon, so you can imagine the appetite on me by 7pm. I caught a whiff of Pizza during my swim so like a blood crazed shark, all I wanted was pizza, pizza, pizza, for dinner! We walked past Round you know what and for some reason I convinced my group to walk the extra .09 mile to Agostino’s. WORTHIT. 10000%. The owner is charming, Italian and is busting out the pies like no other. Families line up to order pies, random people walk up for a slice. Nothing beats a fresh, authentic, wood fired crust pizza with delicious ingredients. He’s got something good going! We ordered ½ Margarita and ½ Pepperoni. I think the 4 of us could have killed 2 pies but we thought we were going to cook dinner. Bad choice. Next time I’ll order a BUNCH of pizzas. Walked back to the beach, sat down and had a romantic pizza party on the beach. Or you can walk the pie back to your hotel but who does that in Paradise!!?

Came here one night to split a slice of pizza($ 6 per slice now). All they had ready was plain cheese, but I wanted to try it and it was great. I love pizza so I am rather picky, but this guy knows what he is doing. I came back the next night before I had to go to the airport to get some more. This time I had pepperoni and mushroom with garlic and got it right when it came out, it was amazing. You can get a whole pizza here for $ 20, next time I am in town I will be doing that.

Finally got to try this amazing Pizza. First off I’m not a Pizza Expert but my Italian Wifey is and she loved it! In fact she declared this the best Pizza in Honolulu and she’s been everywhere. VLounge, Inferno’s, JJ’s, Dave’s, etc… One of the obvious problems is parking, but it’s not insurmountable with spaces or paid parking only a few minutes away. Don’t miss this…

I wish I didn’t have to do this but It has left a bad taste in my mouth since my experience! First off, The food is great. There is no doubt about that. The attitude of the girl working the register needs to change! The way you order here is by slice or by the whole pie. If you buy the whole pie you get your option of FOUR toppings and four drinks. anyways, we order our pizza with ALL pepperoni, ALL sausage, Half with Olives and Mushrooms! The pie comes out and its only half sausage and pepperoni and half mushroom and olives. We say that its the wrong one, and the Owner kindly enough goes to make another refusing us just to take that pizza and leave dissatisfied. I catch him while he is making it and its still wrong(I think he missed the pepperoni or something. I go to the girl to tell her and she brings over the owner. Her words«He doesn’t know what he wants, he keeps changing his mind.» I’m my eyes she stepped out of line there for HER mistake. She wrote the order wrong. Instead of being nice about it, she calls me out. She was not friendly at all. We ended up taking the first pie that came out(it tasted awesome).

Writing a review for Agostino is pretty easy. His pizza is simply the best that you can get in Honolulu! Prices are more then fair, pizza is huge and delicious! We ate there two times during our one week stay. And on a side note… he is really a really nice guy. Enjoy your pizza. You won’t be disappointed.
