I love ABC stores. In Waikiki, you will find one every 10 feet. There is a gazillion of them. I wouldn’t be surprised if I didn’t go in all of them, but I betcha I went in 97% of them. They are just perfect in this tourist area. Convenience shopping like a 7 – 11. Prices like them as well. This is expected. But they have a much larger selection of ice cold drinks and a good selection of bento types of foods. Then to top it off, souvenir city, baby! Admit it, you bought not just something from here. You bought a bunch of somethings. This shop mimics most of the other shops. It’s on Kalakua, but then so are a million more.

For the trillion stores found in Honolulu, they do have some great prices to take with you to give to your friends and family and things you forgot to bring with you. Shirts, jewelry, wood cravings, clocks, food, and other gifts. Your wallet will not break since it’s very affordable. Three shirts for 11 dollars? 5 shirts for 20 bucks? Sign me up sir!!! Overall: Great items for cheap, Great service

What’s not to love about ABC store? Lol they’re everywhere in Waikiki.. Like literally every block! Even when I went to Lahaina, Maui, they were everywhere too. They have basic food and products. Snacks, souvenirs, sunscreens, towels, sunglasses, gallons of water, snorkeling gear, and even a ukulele lol. This place is pretty cool. It can get annoying that all you see is ABC but this place is convenient for little small things for to go like buying Macadamia Nut chocolates hehehe

What kept me coming back was the price, value and selection of the items they had available. They are fully stocked and everything including food is fresh. I purchased a few toiletries and sunblock during my trip as well as local beers that were reasonably priced. You can’t beat the location of the store, which is only a few steps from my hotel and beach!

Gotta love the ABC stores. $ 1 for 1.5 liters of Hawaiian water! Can’t beat that. We purchased drinks, snacks and meals to take with us on hikes and beach days. This is the place to shop for all those necessary items you forgot at home. Save your receipts for free gifts after spending a certain amount. Aloha and have a safe trip home.

I made my rounds and visited several ABC stores while in Hawaii. Mostly I was trying to get my free bag for spending $ 100.(Ok, the free bag was just a perk — it wasn’t that hard to spend $ 100). I bought macadamia nuts(tons of flavors and some chocolate covered ones), sodas, liquor(to help wash down the sodas), and even some jewelry. I found a couple awesome wrap-around bracelets at this store.(They wrap around your wrist and are so pretty). Bought a couple for myself and some as gifts. Service was okay at check-out. ABC Stores are everywhere in Hawaii and a great place to find cheap snacks and souvenirs.

The ABC stores are great :) We stopped into a couple, so this review doesn’t only apply to the one here. I managed to get souvenirs for a reasonable price, snacks for the plane, and a couple of staples for the hotel room without breaking my bank. Some of the stuff is a little overpriced, but if you aren’t looking for anything in particular, there were some good sales. I got nail polish for $ 2, a big box of delicious macadamia nut chocolate truffles for $ 7, and a really cute toy ukelele for my son for $ 12. No complaints here!

Ok, so this review is for store #83, not sure if it’s this one. The items sold here are ok, the 2 star is for the customer service. The way the cashier talked to me is like I own her money. I was trying to return a dress I bought 2hr ago from the same cashier, while I was searching for receipt in my purse, She was very impatient and kept stating that I could not return it without a receipt, After a little while. I finally found my receipt and returned it. I’m very uncomfortable with the way she act so I asked if I could talk to the manager, the manager came out and immediately became very defensive, talked to me the same way as the cashier, like I’m causing him a big trouble. I was just trying to make a suggestion! They really need to be trained better, including the manager… Not going to shop there anymore, I don’t need that attitude while spending money, you’re not the only shop here.

After posting my 2 star review for ABC, I received a reply from the store manager stating that she wanted to rectify the situation by reimbursing me for the calendars and sending me a gift. Not only did she send me a full reimbursement check along with a beautiful beach towel, she sent me pictures of how ABC implemented new display cases and signs to make sure that there was no confusion about the prices of their calendars. Now that is what I call great customer service. I was very impressed with how proactive they were!

There was an ABC store right across from my hotel in Hawaii, and another just down the street. They have everything you could need on a vacation, including fun souvenirs! Lots of exotic treats that you can’t find back home, too. I wish I had one by my apartment ;)

Great place to go for basic necessities. Cappuccino machine is affordable and great alternative to the insanely expensive Starbucks in the hotels.

These are the 7/11, am/pm, circle k of the islands. Expect to get screwed on some things. Sale prices on some items are decent though. Good place to pick up small trinkets for friends if vacationing. These places are on every street, not exaggerating. Only difference I ever saw was some hot hot food, some had larger alky sections but all about the same in general.

If you’ve seen one ABC Store, you’ve seen them all. Great place to find items that you forgot to pack, beach gear, and snacks & beverages to take back to your hotel room. And the prices are usually lower than hotel sundry shops.

Seems that every single corner of downtown Honolulu has an ABC store of some type. Not only do the dominate, you can get anything you need at ABC with a wide variation of stores of the tiny C-Store to a large grocer. What more to say? Am a fan!

Damn! It seems like every 50 feet there is an ABC store in Waikiki. That is a bit of an exaggeration… but not by much! These places are all over! I know alot of people complain about the high prices in these places, but I found that it depends on the item. Beer and soda was rediculously overpriced! Almost literally double what I would pay here for certain items! They did have large Hawaiian waters for only 99 cents. That was a deal and I bought a bunch of those during the week. Some of the souveneers were fairly priced and whatever I didn’t pick up at the International Marketplace, I grabbed here. Plus they are just so rediculously convenient, it would take a concerted effort to stay out of one of these places! The staff at all the ABC stores I went into alway greeted me with an «Aloha» and were always friendly and helpful, so no complaints there. Let’s face it, you’re in a touristy area and overpriced merchandise just comes with the territory. For what it is, it wasn’t bad at all. 3 stars.

I found everything I neeed at the ABC store and more, so that makes me a fan. On the first day I needed sunscreen, I came back pretty much every day and bought: *Several(10) bottles of Island Girl Nail Polish in the bestest most summery and neon colors I could find. My nails look hawt. *Kona Coffee, I knew I had to stock up so I purchased about 5 pounds of it. *Malibu Rum, it’s not that much more than the average grocery store. *Hawaiian Sun Drinks, love those and they carry the variety *Insulated Glasses, so we could sip our drinks poolside without having the ice melt fast or spend a ton on mixed drinks. I came back so often I made use of the gold card and scored a free ceramic mug with hula girls on it. So I can enjoy my kona coffee in cute little mug!

The ABC Store has everything. Everything you might need. Chocolate covered Macadamia nuts, got it. New flip flops, got em’. Toothbrush, there it is. The ABC Store has everything, except baby formula. The one thing that I really, really needed on our trip. I hate the lines here and the workers are so un personable. They clock in and clock out. I actually made one guy laugh when I saw a sunscreen that was SPF100. I said«This must make you invisible or something.» He smirked at my lame joke at least. We probably came here once a day on our 7 day trip. For everything except baby formula.
