Food

We are a farm to table, nose to tail restaurant. We source the majority of our produce and proteins from local farmers and ranchers including Small Kine Farms (Waimanalo) Shinsato Farms (Kaneohe), Maui Cattle Co (Maui), Makaweli Ranch (Kauai) just to name a few.

We are also one of the few restaurants to offer Lamb from Ni’ihau on our regular menu.

By partnering with local growers and producers, we are able to create the freshest food while supporting our neighbors and the local economy.

History

Established in 2004.

We began over eleven years ago as a humble hole-in-the-wall restaurant nestled in the backstreets of Kaimuki. Before there was Yelp there was only word of mouth, and that’s how people heard about us: from friends, of friends, of friends talking about this quaint little place called 12th Ave Grill. Nearly a decade later, we’ve relocated across the street in a new location triple in size. We’ve never forgotten our humble roots and our core values: A love of food, a love of drink, and a love of people.

After his stint in California he traveled abroad to the South of France and became a private chef on a yacht.

film caterer, having developed a reputation for great food. 12th Ave Grill was established in 2004 by Chef Hanney to offer guests the chance to experience first-rate, local ingredients in Kaimuki. On October 1, 2013, after nine years of service at the original location, Kevin Hanney and wife Denise Luke acquired a new space, formerly Victoria Inn, as the second and present home of 12th Ave Grill. Our current home, although much larger and with an added modern touch, still evokes that family-style feel that our guests have com
