The best place in Honokaa (between Hilo and Kona) located on the main highway, to not only buy gas or something cold or hot to drink, you can also find many different types of homemade tasty delights made on location, many types of sandwiches, many different types of wraps, but also many delightful tasty deserts made freshly for our enjoyment. For sure a must stop anytime your driving in or around Honokaa

Definitely the best bathroom break on the way there and back!
The bathrooms are impressive, upscale and clean! The food! Oh the food! I was 2⁄3 done before I could stop myself to take a photo. Fettuccini Alfredo with chicken mini garlic toast. Only $ 6
Everything is hade made and delicious. I agree with other reviews. If you leave without getting something… your loss.

This place is amazing! If you’re hungry or need to use the bathroom, they’re the best. All their baked goods are fresh and home made. If you have a sweet tooth all of their stuff is to die for! It’s also open pretty late (10 on week nights and 11 on weekends) so if you have a midnight craving or emergency they probably have something to help you out!

This place isn’t a gas station, its an expert bakery and grocery store hiding inside a gas station.
Their baked goods are amazing. If you leave without something, you’re making a mistake. Excellent brownies & mochi, and really friendly staff.

This review is not so much about the service station as it is the service that was found at the station. Upon filling up our tank, we spotting GJ’s barbecue stand out in front serving up a wonderful aroma of barbecued chicken and pork on several rotisseries. Doesn’t look like much, but this is the kind of food that you search for on the islands. Served over rice, we ordered 2 half-​half orders to go along with a bag of pork rinds. All fresh and home made goodness.
We spotted him here at this location around noon.
