I awoke on a Sunday and found myself craving diner food. So I decided to go to Wimpy and Dee’s. When we arrived we found there was a lot of people there and it was only 9:30 in the morning. We obviously had to wait but not for long we were seated and surrounded by different 50s items which were very fascinating. We ordered and quickly I got my beverage which was the best malt milkshake I had ever had. The milkshake had taken me on a magical journey to milkshake heaven. Once regaining my consciousness I found that I needed to order my meal. I ordered the 50s special which included a cheeseburger two biscuits and home fries the wait for our food was about 10 minutes and once I looked at my dish I was amazed how good it looked the food was exactly how they served it 60 years ago. I dug in mixing the burger with the home fries squirting a shit load of ketchup on to the meal. The biscuits were so flavorful. Milkshake went down my throat so well with the chewed burger meat and home fries. We left the diner feeling great and I was ready to tackle the day. If you want to have an orgasm in your mouth go down to Wimpy and Dee’s in Honeybrook, PA

The food is good but the service is terrible! A waitress never came to our table tonight but she served the the table behind us and next to us and did not say a word to us. We felt like we were invisible patrons.

What an awesome place. Seems like all of the food is made from scratch. The potato soup was fabulous! I had the egg salad sandwich — yum! Such friendly service too.

My husband and I decided to stop off at Wimpy & Dee’s Diner on our way to Shady Maple. We were seated right away and our drinks were brought out. I ordered the meatloaf dinner and my husband ordered a hamburger. My salad arrived and we talked and waited for our meals. The couple seated next to us was seated after us, was served, and finished their meal. We were still waiting for our lunch. One or the wait staff informed another table that their meal would arrive shortly, but walked past our table without a word. After 35 minutes we left, letting the wait staff know that we were leaving after 35 minutes. They did not say anything except alright, no apology at all. We went to September Farms for lunch.(P.S. wonderful place and excellent customer service) I called Wimpy & Dee’s Diner to asked if we needed to pay for our iced teas and salad and was told that there were no open tickets. When I said that we left after waiting 35 minutes, the person who answered the phone said«Okay». We will drive past this establishment from now on.

We’ve been coming here since we moved here in 2013. If you’re looking for good comfort food, this is the place to go. The hot turkey and hot meatloaf sandwiches are amazing and their gravy is delicious. However, they have made several changes since we first started coming that have soured the experience for me. The worst is with their fried mushrooms. We used to love them. They came in a huge basket filled to the brim, they were nice and hot and crispy. Now, they’ve shrink the size down to 8 – 10 mushrooms but kept the price at $ 5. It’s a rip off to pay $ 5 for 8 mushrooms when they are so cheap to buy.

Wimpy & Dee’s is a novelty diner that’s main objective is to take you back to the 1950’s; while feeding you of course. It’s shiny on the outside and snazzy on the inside. Whether or not you care about accuracy, it is still a cool place to get some good food. They have a standard menu, but throw in some ‘50s tributes like the ‘50s Special: Eggs, potatoes, and a cheeseburger. Saw it, had to have it, glad I got it. And who needs buzzers to tell you when your wait time is over? Wimpy’s does it different. Should you be forced to wait, you’ll be assigned not a number, but a name. Your first? Your last? Heavens no. During your 5 minute wait you’ll be made into a ‘50s icon. «Dennis can quit being a menace, his table is ready» «Babalu! It’s time to eat Lucy» Excuse the pun, but it makes it worth the wait. From a diner standpoint, the prizes are good, the portions are generous, and the atmosphere is like crazy; like wow and that’s the word from the bird. So get with it Daddy-O! Make the scene.

No sure why the previous review was so bad. We came here last year and had really good food and service. Now here again this year and still very good food and service. The place was really busy. So it is a popular place. P, ease give it a try.
