History

Established in 2002.

The origin of Shellbark Hollow Farm took place on a Father’s Day many years ago. Peter Demchur was gifted two Nubian goat kids from his daughters, and what was originally a couple fun family pets blossomed into a passionate business. Here at Shellbark, it’s family; customers, employees, and animals live cooperatively to improve all of our lives. We welcome you to the family, and would love to see you at our farmers market stands, local events, or right here in Honey Brook for a farm tour!

Ever since I was gifted two Nubian goat kids on a Father’s Day far in the past, I had a passion for animals and fresh, natural, and local food. In 2002, I decided to officially combine my two passions and bring it public, thus Shellbark Hollow Farm was born. Since the beginning, I have committed this business to quality, content animals, employees, and customers.
