Four and a half years ago Karinne VandeBerg found herself working in an industry, and for a company, that made every day of work feel like a never ending chore. One day, she decided that enough was enough! If she wanted to change her life she was going to need to take control and make some hard decisions. With no certainty as to where her choices might lead her, she quit her job, enrolled in Esthetics school and set off to pursue a longstanding dream of someday opening her own spa.

It was during her studies, in late 2007, that Karinne attended a beauty conference in the Orlando area and discovered eyelash extensions. Having never heard of eyelash extensions before, she was instantly intrigued.
