Guida’s Pizzeria II

3 tries, messed up huge on each order.
1^st order– no blue cheese with wings. When I called, the kid asked me what I expected him to do?
2^nd order-​forgot the chicken wings, remembered the blue cheese. Took over an hour to bring them.
3^rd & final order-​ordered at 620 pm. Called at 735 asking where food was, I was told its on its way. 8 pm called again, the delivery driver car broke down. They said sorry and it will b here soon. I asked if they were bringing a fresh pie as its been a couple hours since order? They said no. Spoke to owner, he said nothing he could do. 4 days later, still waiting on refund!
Oh I called about refund, they said it takes days to refund… It only took 5 min to bill my acct at 625 pm. It’s really too bad as the food itself (when u get it) is great:(

If I could give this less stars I would. I ordered pizza and wings for a party, and they messed up the order, they called and told me they messed it up, and that they were closing, and would not deliver us anything. There pizza is only OK, and service is terrible! Will never use them again!

I hated to even rate this one star. I called to place an order based on the on-​line menu. I ordered a specialty sub and was told it only comes in a large when the on-​line menu states it comes in small and large. I tried to order a flat bread sandwich, but was told «we don’t carry these». Where is the customer service. The bread for the subs were not fresh, probably at least 2 – 3 days old. The pittsburger sub either comes with burger or shaved steak, that’s a LIE, the shaved steak is roastbeef. Whoever answered the phone has extremely poor customer service and is a JERK. I would NEVER step foot in there again. If the manager treats his customers like shit, I can’t imagine how he treats his employees. I can’t believe this place is in business. My advice — stay away from this place.

The pizza is fine. My issue is with the unfriendly staff. Your phone call is answered with a quickly mumbled «phone number please?.» Forget about help with your ordering. The staff is always rushed and unpleasant. Time to try the competitor down the road.

The food is great here but the way they treat employees is diabolical. Thus is from rumors around the local high school but I have heard about horror stories about working there. Apparently the boss has a horrible gambling problem and takes it out on the employees. Never tip someone because he will take it righ from the employee. He takes money from the register infront of everyone. What Pisces me off the most is that he steels from their paycheck. Food may be better than the salvatores, but after hearing about this I will never step foot in their again from it feeling morally wrong.

We order for this place on a regular basis and Literately they are out of something every time. Product and service are poor here.

Not good food at all… The location should help this restaurant out because it is right next to a busy grocery. But, there was literally no one in there when a family of 6 people went in. The prices were higher than they should have been. Being so gullible to the wide selection of pastas and sandwiches, we dove right in. The staff were inattentive and were procrastinating. So unprofessional. Everything in served on paper plates and aluminum containers. Décor is boring, with white walls and emptiness. Food came at uneven times… The baked ziti was 1% cheese, 30% tomato sauce, and 69% store bought pasta. It had no taste, and the pasta had the consistency of powder. It just fell apart with a fork. I had to apply half of the grated cheese to actually get a taste of baked ziti. Pizza was in fact good. Their sandwiches were large, but the bread was soggy and all oils and sauces drooped out of it. Wasn’t the greatest pizza place…

The food is ok but the service is horrible. There had not been a single time that I have either called or entered the store that it doesn’t seem like I have completely interrupted the staff. It always seems like all customers are a bother to them. You’re either ignored to the point of awkwardness or they are as short with you as possible. Seems like no one took the time to teach these kids some common customer service. All they are interested is fooling around and taking amongst themselves, all customers are an intrusion for them. I really do think that the place is only open as another option for quick pizza and subs.

I used to like this pizza place. Their buffalo chicken slices were almost to die for.
Lately though, the customer service is shabby, if they mess up your order they aren’t very happy to help you. Employees are always changing [HIGH TURNOVER RATE] which makes it harder for the business to function properly and take care of customers to the best ability.
Their checkout procedure is a disaster. I don’t recommend phone ordering.
Prices are typical «honeoye falls high» so I tend to spend my money else where. Not to mention there is a Salvatore’s right down the street and thousands more BETTER PIZZA PLACES no matter which way your coming from HF.

3 words: BUFFALO CHICKEN PIZZA. This place does it best. It might be a little more than you want to pay for a medium pizza on a night in, but sometimes they have this yummy concoction available by the slice when you walk in. I can’t speak as highly about their other menu offerings, but they know what they’re doing when it comes to this pizza.

Ordering from Guidas HF is like giving birth. No matter how painful the last experience was, after a couple years, someone convinces you to try it again. Inevitably you are immediately reminded why you always say that will be the last time.

I live in the area and visit Guida’s pizzeria in Honeoye Falls on a monthly basis for lunch and dinner.
They have great slices at lunchtime, my personal favorite is the buffalo chicken pizza with blue cheese baked onto it. Their pasta dishes are also above average and provide huge portions, I usually get 2 – 3 meals out of a baked ziti from this place.
The best thing on their menu, however, is their hot sandwiches. Anyone visiting Guidas and in the mood for a sandwhich needs try the Shwarzkopf sandwich or any of the other warm sandwiches on the menu.
My only gripe is we have had several accuracy issues with our takeout orders and unfriendly staff. Even as a regular customer the staff is never friendly or particularly interested when serving you and becomes even less so when they make an error.
The worst instance recently was a pair of submarine sandwiches that were both completely missing the meat! No big deal, but when bringing them back they were less than anxious to help us and seemed to be bothered with us even bringing them back. The girl helping us was more interested in finding out who screwed up than fixing the situation so we asked for our money back. Again, not a huge deal, but we definitely were made to feel uncomfortable and have not been back since.

I don’t know about their pizza, but the wings are phenomenal.
I was visiting the area on business, and our supplier brought in a variety of Guida’s pizza and wings. While the pizza did taste quite good, it was just a bit soggy, which I attribute to the delivery more than anything.
But those wings! Unfortunately, I’ve gotten used to Buffalo Wild Wings, which I’ve come to learn must use the most anemic chickens they can find to provide their wings. Not Guida’s, though. Great, big old wings, with really great tasting wing sauce to match.
Looking forward to actually visiting the establishment on my next visit to the area, it can’t come soon enough!

Great customer service, and best pizza anywhere! I’m from the other side of the country, and everytime I go to my boyfriend’s parents’ home I get Guida’s two or three times! :)
