Bringing my car in for work can be scary as a woman. Often times I would feel taken advantage of by men who think I don’t know any better. But that didn’t happen at DeRe! They offer great service, were fast, and didn’t sell me anything I didn’t need. My car had some issues but they were totally honest about what HAD to be done, what could wait a bit and things I could bypass because they weren’t safety concerns. April usually waits on me, but Terry has as well. Both are very knowledgeable and beyond helpful and fair. My whole family goes to them now, and I always recommend them whenever I can. Good local business, run by people who care!

This place gets the poor service award for the day. We had an appointment today at 1030am. We arrived about 30 minutes early for the alignment appointment and still was waiting 50 minutes later and the car has not moved. When you make an appointment with Mr Goodyear at this location don’t expect as I did to get service at the appointed time… even if you arrive 30 minutes early for your appointment. What makes service providers like this think that their time is any more valuable than mine?

First off, I never review anything on here, but was strongly compelled to after going to De Re Tire & Auto. De Re Tire’s customer service is top notch. Terry and his staff are friendly and as the previous reviewer mentioned, honest. I recently took my car to get new tires and the guys at De Re were the best. One of the most hassle free experiences I’ve ever had. They never tried to up sell me on anything that I didn’t need. Also, they were incredibly fast and did a fantastic job. I will definitely bring my car back here for any service. I would highly recommend them for your cars needs.

The most honest car repair place in the south suburbs!
I have been dealing with Chuck of Dere for over ten years. Dere Auto has always done right by our many cars that we have owned since we’ve been here. I’ve never felt raked over or taken advantage of. They are a truly honest car repair place. In fact they have advised me NOT to undertake repairs when there was no point to them… they have saved me hundreds of dollars over the years.
I can’t recommend another auto repair shop in the Southlands.
