Burrito construction getting sloppy. Every time lately I get a burrito and unwrap it, it falls apart. They used to be perfect.

I absolutely love this location. It is smaller than most however the good is pretty consistent. The staff here are pretty friendly and they’ve always gotten my phone ahead orders right.

This place is beyond slow. The last few times I been here the line was ridiculous. Then some of the staff has really bad attitude & they act like they can’t understand you. I now go to the one in Munster.

This is the worst chipotle I have been too. The atmosphere wasn’t great and the service was slow. First, the atmosphere: It was a cool 55 degrees outside and I’m pretty sure it wasn’t much warmer inside the chipotle. I looked around and noticed everyone dining in was still wearing their coat. I felt like I was in a cold dark concrete basement. Also, no music… Second, the service: I wanted to light a fire cracker under each and everyone of them! Let’s get a little more pep in your step! Everyone here is hungry and you’re taking your sweet old time! The first woman taking our orders was nice enough, and she definitely was thorough, but thorough to a fault. She double checked everything each customer said. Everything. It went something like this. Woman: «white or brown rice?» Customer: «brown.» Woman: «you said brown?» Repeat. For every. Single. Item. You get the idea.

Chipotle has really gone down the tubes! I have eaten at this location since it first opened. What I used to get was big, good burritos for a slightly upscale price. I went here with my wife just last week and got a burrito. at least what I asked for and thought I was getting. I got it like I used to, steak, no beans, white rice, medium salsa, extra cheese, and sour cream. The resulting«burrito» was the size of a taco. The workers put lots of rice and sour cream, a comical amount of steak, and seemed not happy I asked for extra cheese. Without that, the burrito would have been even more pathetic. So how was it? Cold, thanks to too much sour cream. The barely there steak was not even good, the cheese had a strange sour taste to it. The salsa was the same as I remember. We also ordered chips and guacamole, but the chips were stale and too much salt on some. What used to be one of my favorite places to eat not only tasted nasty, the prices went up. The soft drinks also tasted watered down. I used to eat here once a week, this is the first and possibly my last time this year eating here or at any other location. Last year, I got sick after eating at the nearby Matteson one and the food was equally pathetic and the burrito size was about the same taco size! Eat at an authentic Mexican restaurant and the burrito will be 4 times bigger and 20 times better. Really sad but this place will thrive because a lot eat at all locations… Guess they do not know any better? I still wonder why so many flock here… guess its considered cool to eat here? One star because 0 is not available! It is not this location, either… For a couple years now this has been the norm. The burritos get more nasty and smaller yet prices continue to go up! Sad

There’s always a long line when I come here. That’s either good or bad depending on your thinking. The food is good, typical Chipotle grub. Staff is indifferent and not very outgoing. Inside is clean and gotta love the freak music always playing. I’ll be back.

This is my favorite chipotle! Matteson, Naperville, Schaumburg, Orland Park can’t compare! For some reason the team here is always on point. No wonder it’s always packed, but well worth the wait unless Antwon is working. Then the food is thrown around, the line is dirty, the people working the rice is stingy and gives smart remarks, meat is not prepped, and he is the only one that doesn’t wear gloves!

The reason for two stars is because of the service. The food is still good, I pre-ordered for pick-up. Once I arrived and went inside I was told the order was never received, then I had to wait an additional 20 minutes for my order to be made.

I honestly did not expect to be in there as long as I was. First, the issue was that they had run out of white rice. So, I waited, waited, waited. After the rice arrived, the two people preparing food seemed to be moving in SLOWMOTION. Omg. The restaurant seemed short staffed as well. The man grilling chicken eventually got on the serving line to finish preparing my burrito. I guess he realized how unsanitary it was to have various orders sitting in the open for so long. This place disappointed me & spoiled the good Chipotle name we all know & love.

This restaurant has the longest line ever. They are always running out of stuff too. The entire staff almost always seems so unprofessional. I have stopped going to this location & now I go to the location in Munster, Indiana or Matteson, Il. I prefer them much better!

Awful, awful, awful customer service. Shockingly mismanaged. The employees are so oblivious and incompetent that it makes me sad. The quality of food is good… because it’s Chipotle, and the corporation has standards, but it’s unfortunate that the same cannot be said for the employees. It’s very clear that they would rather be anywhere else but at their jobs. The portions are skimpy despite how much they cost. The line is always out the door and moves at a snail’s pace. Someone please come in and save this location because Chipotle is awesome and it deserves better than this.

They still suck!!! One person working the food line and three people standing around doing absolutely nothing… I swore I wasn’t coming back — I meant it this time for real for real!

Today is the LAST time I go to this chipotle. I live all of 2 minutes away but if it’s not one thing it’s another. Long story short I was in line for over 30 minutes. Once I get to the end of the line to pay I ask for a shopping bag and she holds my food to the side like she’s about to throw a baseball to say«I can’t give you a bag for one Bowl». Fine! I was already irritated to that point. Once I get home all my food is on one side of the bowl thanks to the cashier, my rice was hard as rocks, the mild salsa(tomatoes) was mushy… Just horrible. I’ll make the trip and go to the one in Indiana on Calumet. At least I know I will get MORE for my money.

The experience at this chipotle has been consistently poor. The staff is slow and overwhelmed. In slow period the food is still not ready. There dining area was shockingly dirty. Jose the«manager» seemed disengaged and irritated. He never helped his staff, took initiative nor did he receive the app and fax orders, they walked out upset. Upsetting that the represent this community. They should be rock stars, this location damages the brand.

It’s OK… pricey for the portion of food. The Homewood location seems to always be busy with lines and waiting but overall, their as much better options for this type of food with better portions.

I love Chipotle and was so excited when they opened shop in Homewood. That’s where the excitement ended. Since they’ve been open I’ve visited a dozen times or more. Each time I was met with very long lines, understandable of a popular business, but these never seemed to move anywhere. I kept hoping that as the restaurant staff grew more comfortable and experienced with their jobs, they would be able to get through the crowds with more ease. Not the case. The wait time is still incredibly long and slow. And they have plenty of staff! I am used to going to another Chipotle in Rosemont during lunchtime and the lines are always out the door. But the staff move you through the place with such ease, you’d never know it. I was hoping this would be the case eventually in Homewood, too. Not so. To add insult to injury, after finally getting my food and diving in, I nearly gagged. The chicken was so disgustingly fatty and gristly, I couldn’t eat it. Nail in the coffin. I will not eat here again.

This location is really nice & clean. As always the line is long but it moved pretty quickly. The staff were nice & cheerful and seemed to enjoy working there which i like. The food was fresh and good as always. I will definetly come back to this location again. Hopefully it will stay this way.

Still very consistent after all this time! The line still gets long if you come during their lunch rush. They seemed to be getting better with preparing the on-line pickup orders. I came here for lunch one time and after paying, i dropped my burrito bowl on the floor. They were very nice and made me a new bowl. I would have been so sad if they didn’t. The staff is always friendly and generous with the portions. Love coming here for lunch! Always hits the spot!

Glenwood/Homewood has long needed this restaurant. If you go during lunchtime save yourself 20 minutes of wait and order online or through the app. This location is unusually packed. Chipotle is by far my favorite fast food restaurant. It’s actually healthy, or can be if you get the bowl with no rice in terms of carbs. I find the salsa, beans, meat etc. consistantly fresh. A big bonus for me when I consider the chain as a whole is their Food with Integrity Policy. The animals they use for their meat are naturally raised without hormones and are given space to walk around and engage in their natural behaviors. Veggies are organic as well. Not something you can usually say about a big corporation: Chipotle has heart.
