Personal Touch Cleaning Services

These people were wonderful. My mother is terminally ill and had this groupon from sometime ago. I scheduled their services and they came out as planned. The ladies were very friendly and spent extra time cleaning the house and talking to my mom. They have been very accomidating and I plan to continue using their services in the future.

Absolutely impossible to make an appointment with. They say they’ll call back but don’t. I tried booking several cleanings at once but they said I could only book 1. Do they have a calendar that only goes in 1 month increments?
I’ve called at least 10 times also sent emails. Absolutely miserable. Don’t waste your time. Its only a «great deal» if you can actually get in touch with someone to redeem the services. STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!!

Bought a Groupon, and thought it was a good idea. They LOST my first appointment (due to a «computer error» they said), and then never showed for the second appointment. When you call, you only get a voice message — never a real person. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

Horrible experience. I purchased 2 living social vouchers for Personal Touch Cleaning Services. They would not return calls, have postponed appointment in several occasions. I even contacted the owner directly and she did not have the courtesy to return my calls. I tried to get a refund from Living Social with no success!

I took a chance and bought a voucher off LIVING SOCIAL! I called booked my appointment and received a call that they were running a tad late. They arrived and brought their own supplies and proceeded to clean above and beyond making sure to do the most in the time allotted. I owned a home and had a cleaning service before so I was excited to get my apartment deeply cleaned. These ladies delivered. Friendly, polite, professional and my travertine tile floors were bright and shiny, bathrooms looked amazing top to bottom. I was very pleased. I’d use Gloria and her team again for sure. If they do another deal I’ll be sure to book it. I’m also from New York so I am a total sticker when it comes to professionalism when it comes to returning calls, calling in traffic and over all customer service.

Personal Touch said they would honor my expired Groupon. It was who them ignored my 3 efforts to book an appt. before the expiration.
I made 2 appointments with them. The first time they didn’t show up they said I made the mistake and said it was for the next day. Even though i knew that was not true, I imagined it could be an error on the part of the seemingly kind woman I spoke with and made a second appt. I spent several hours of 2 days waiting at home for them to arrive. I finally got in contact with them and they said the appt was cancelled and had contacted me. They had never contacted me by phone or email, I am sure. I so was disheartened and frustrated at their unethical tactics, I finally gave up, which I suppose is what they wanted. They also told me that they were having problems with Unilocal and that Unilocal was asking for money to show their good reviews and was putting the bad ones first. I imagine from my experience this was another untruth. I gave them plenty of chances to make right their claims and provide a great service, so far they have not… I would be much happier if I could take down this review.

Bought a coupon with Deal Savers. First they said they was a mistake on the offer and that they will come for half the time offered. Then they call me to tell me they will honor the deal. They arrived late. To start I gave them a 500 sqft (one bedroom, one den, on bath) in-​law apartment. I normally clean the whole thing in 1 hour, if that much. They, two professionals, took two hours to clean, and at the end the floor was dirty, the furniture was full of dust, the ceiling fan blades where dirty, I have no idea what else they missed, I do not want to know because I get more upset by the minute.
For the remainder 3 hours they played around doing almost nothing. They did not clean under the bed, and so on, and on.
I not only was not worth the money, it was not worth the time I wasted explaining and inspecting the lousy job
The chutzpah is they wanted a tip for doing nothing.
Response to Gloria’s Comment. In addition to arriving late and doing a lousy job you are not telling the truth, but I am of planing to argue with you.
This morning I found that the cleaners left the oven and its lights ON. What you you think that is? I call it negligence.
I guess people reading all the other posters’ comments can make their own mind. I know personally of two that ask for refunds.
Instead of trying to make it right you fight your customers. Way to go looser.

These gals or sooo conscientious and hard working. I’ve used them several times and will continue to use them. There was a small time period where they were without someone answering the phone, but they responded and will respond online as well. Bottom line, the house was clean! I told them some things that weren’t as important to me so they could spend more time doing something else that needed extra attention. Obviously, by the end of the day or due to traffic, the arrival time might be off. That can’t be helped. People… be reasonable. They do a good job!

Very hard to make an Appt. The don’t work on Sundays and won’t come to my neighborhood on Saturdays. Had to redeem my Living Social deal before it’s expiration date. I live in a 1 br apt which is what I paid for. They looked at the voucher and said that since my apt has a LR and kitchen I have to choose which rooms I want cleaned. (they only clean 3 rooms.)
2 people had the place finished in 2 and ½ hours.
The name of the company should be «Gentle Touch» since they leave all the dirt that does not come off with a gentle touch. I had to go over everything and ask them to clean some areas that they said were already cleaned.
Is it the best cleaning my apt has had? NO
Is it better than cleaning it myself? Yes
Would I call them again? NO

Awful… They are so hard to make an appointment with and did not show up when they did. Waste of time. I can not believe how unprofessional they are!!!

HORRIBLE Service. We tried for a month or so to schedule a cleaning and on the day of the appointment they did not show up. Thank god groupons gave us our money back. I would not recommend them.

Major confusion with the appointment date/​time. Pain in the butt! Once they finally got here, they were very very nice. Made everything pleasant. The problem was, for the most part, the cleaning was terrible. I unfortunetely wasn’t here for most of the actual cleaning, but when I got home I noticed they didn’t really mop or thouroughly clean anything… and they broke a glass candle holder of mine, didn’t tell me, and didn’t clean up all of the glass on the floor! My BF stepped on a piece of glass that afternoon! They also took my personal windex with them when they left… which is just WEIRD.
