In threading, a thin (cotton or polyester) thread is doubled, then twisted. It is then rolled over areas of unwanted hair, plucking the hair at the follicle level. Unlike tweezing, where single hairs are pulled out one at a time, threading can remove short lines of hair.

Hira is awesome, this was my first time threading I usually do waxing and the last waxed messed up my eyebrows so I decided to try something new. Compared to waxing this was nearly painless and quick. Hira was very kind and professional and the room is very nice and clean (she threads from her home) I’m so glad she opened up her home to me I’ve found my new eyebrow place ! I’ve posted pics so you can see.

I went to Hira for the first time today to do my eyebrows and I’m absolutely in love with them! After a horrible experience with another person in Kendall I went on Unilocal to find someone that does threading in Homestead and found her with amazing reviews. Now I know why, she’s very sweet and gentle, I didn’t feel any pain at all. She was also quick, which is great for someone like me that’s always on the run. I will definitely be going back to her from now on!

Hira is incredible! If you are looking for a threading place, look no more. I’ve personally been bouncing all around and have yet to find anyone that seemed to know what they were doing, until now. My eyebrows are very course and curly making it hard to get the right shape. Jura noticed right away and explained to me it would take a few sessions to get them just right but still managed to make them look better than ever.
The most important thing with services like this is the outcome and sometimes you have to sacrifice other things in order to get the out come you want. I’ve been to people who charge ridiculous prices, ladies who have been rude and other places where it’s just unpleasant. To be honest I’m willing to put up with it if my eyebrows turn out ok. Now finding Hira it’s totally different. She was very attentive, was running on schedule and was very sweet yet still professional. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will be back soon.

Hira is defiantly by far the best eyebrow groomer I’ve been too. She knows what she’s doing, & she’s very polite. loved her work! Eyebrows were very uneven & just very hard to work w & she fixed them so perfectly. defiantly going back for touch ups !

Hira did a great job, she’s super nice, and I just told her that I wanted a nice shape, and that she gave me. I went to a store and a lady asked me where I got my eyebrows done at, she said my eyebrows were nice, this is all thanks to Hira. If you’re tired of having messed up eyebrows, go to Hira.

My eyebrows were a mess before I came in here. One was thicker than the other one and it was just bad. When you go, call her first so she can give you the number to mark on the gate thing. She is to the left of the condos. She walked out and everything to show me where to come in. I told her what the waxing people had done at the other place and she understood completely. She makes very nice conversation while threading your eyebrows — WHICH BY THE WAY do not hurt at all. It is like if she was scratching your eyebrows basically. Some stung a little because they were thick. Much much much better than waxing. She does henna too, which is nice to know since I live around the area and had been looking for a while. My eyebrows are now perfectly shaped just how I wanted. I thought It might hurt like plucking but I have to give her 5 out of 5 for her great service and painless experience. Plus no red bumps! Very satisfied

This was my first threading. How many ways can I say I loved it? The owner’s attitude was as beautiful as she was. She is very funny and VERY professional. She does not keep you waiting. She did my daughter and I in less than 30 minutes. The shop is located in her home. Don’t let that be a deterant! I wish I could take her back to SC with me. I love getting personal attention and not having to wait.

She works from home but don’t let that deter you. Hira is amazing. I went to her to get my eyebrows threaded after a waxing lady had butchered them. She totally fixed them and they look better than ever. I took my mother-​in-​law as well and she also loved her. She also does henna and makes saris!

What a relief to find someone in the area that not only threads eyebrows but actually knows eyebrows. I called Hira (Owner) and she was very sweet. When I got there she made me feel comfortable proceeded to thread my eyebrows with no pain at all. Hira gave me advice on how to get my eyebrows fuller. When she was finished she gave me a nice eyebrow massage. I look forward to getting my eyebrows threaded by Hira again.

I absolutely love Hira! She does such a great job! I’m originally from California (where threading is super popular) and was excited to see that there was a place in Homestead! Hira’s at home business is clean, professional, and affordable. I’ve usually waxed, but threading really is so much better. I would highly recommend her and her business!
