History

Established in 2005.

A simple idea in 2004 of supplying the unique Indonesian clove cigarettes to Homestead became a reality after the devastating tsunami on Christmas day of that year.

«I wanted a way to help out the people of Indonesia and what better way than to promote their product? For the first year the business was run from my house, gaining customers by word of mouth or setting up clove cigarette stands in various gothic dance clubs. After adding rolling papers and herbal cigarettes to my inventory, I realized I needed an actual store to showcase my products & reach out to the public.»

In August of 2005, Clove Smokes had an official storefront location at 229 North Krome Avenue in the historic district of Homestead, Florida.

Aside from tobacco sales, Clove Smokes provides herbal cigarettes to the show business industry, supplying Ecstacy & Honeyrose products as props for theatre and film. «To date, we have supplied over 200 plays and movies throughout Hollywood, New York, Chicago, & worldwide.»
