Awful. Food was old and very swishy. I got the orange chicken and bourbon chicken along with chicken fingers. Everything tasted as if it were made early in the morning and kept warm all day(I came at 5pm). Now I understand that quality can slip occasionally. I politely told the staff that the food tasted old and that I would like a refund. I was greeted with rudeness and told that the food was fresh. They told me that they would replace it with the same food from the same pan! I insisted on a refund and I was told that ‘the boss isn’t here’. Eventually after much argument they called ‘the boss’. The boss asked if I paid cash or credit card. My only assumption for that is that they would tell me too bad if I paid cash, luckily I paid with credit. Now they are going to refund me finally. Then it was a negotiation for what I would get back. I kept the soda so I told them that I just wanted the refund for the meal and tax. They tried to offer lesser amounts until I threatened to simply contest the credit card charge and then they would have to pay chargeback fees too. They then gave me the proper refund. Avoid this business!!!

The staff are pushy and try to pressure you into buying things you don’t want. They have a «high pressure sales» kind of vibe and kept asking us to try their samples despite having said several times we weren’t interested. However, the food was very good for being mall food, especially the tofu. Bit overpriced however for the amount you get. I think this definitely was better than most mall food, but don’t let the staff pressure you into paying more than you want to.

Never again! The kid couldn’t even understand what I was saying and I couldn’t even chew the orange chicken! I was so disappointed since I usually grab the Japanese food next door but decided to give this place a chance.

After spending a few hours shipping at the Holyoke Mall we decided to grab some dinner at the food court. We ended up eating from Max Orient because they had the best looking food. The staff here is a bit pushy when it comes to ordering, but they actually listen to you when you have made up your mind. The food itself is typically mall Chinese food. A bit greasy, a bit dry, and a bit over priced. In the end we enjoyed our meals because we were in the mall food mind frame. The food and staff was average. We will most likely continue to eat at this restaurant if we are in the mood for some mall Chinese.
