Great thin crust pizza. My favorite is the Green Monster with chicken, broccoli, spinach and pesto with a white sauce. The chicken Parmesan grinder is delicious at a really good price. My Dad lives in Chicopee and this is his favorite go-to place for Italian.

Lunch entrees are always good, pizza is great. I order a lot of catering and it’s always top– notch. Service is really good. They need to work on the atmosphere… it’s kinda dark and the bar area is dingy… A coat of bright paint and a little sunshine isn’t a bad thing!

Note: this review is only for delivery pizzas. This is where we get delivery pizza from when we want something a little«different.» The crust(thin, crispy, wood fired style) and topping combinations are great. The Quattro Formaggi is a must for any cheese lover, but the Classic Margherita, The Green Monster, and Bobby C’s are all great too. The only one I’ve tried that didn’t wow me was the Buffalo Chicken– it was kind of goopy without much flavor. Tip– they don’t «split pizzas»(i.e, half one flavor half another), but they do personal sizes!

I’ve stopped in for lunch a few times. The food here is great, and the portion sizes are generous. Their chicken parm is excellent. They also have gluten-free pizza — I haven’t tried it, but others I went with said it was great.

Good local Italian food! Reasonable prices and large portions. Best Italian food in this area! Plus they deliver locally. Service can be slow when you eat there.

Stopped by Amedeo’s for a business lunch, and I had a great experience. I ordered the sausage pepper and onion grinder, and got a huge delicious sandwich that was perfectly toasted and loaded with the goods. My meal came with a side of very tasty fries as well. The waitress we had was very attentive as well. I will definitely be back, and will try getting their delivery service soon.

Was staying in Holyoke with a craving for some good Italian food. What I received was excellent Chicken Carbonara. Grilled Chicken on top of meat tortallini in a bacon and Italian ham cream sauce! The bread bites were great for dipping in the sauce. They had a steady take out crowd and several tables going. Service was great! I will be back again!

Amedeo’s is one of my favorite Italian restaurants ever. The first time I went there, I was VERY put off by the décor(very shabby), but the food changed my mind completely. The portions are huge so you always have leftovers. My favorite thing on the menu is the eggplant parmesan(best I’ve ever tried); my partner likes the Josie’s surprise. Oh, and the bread they give you with the meal is fabulous. Service can be a little iffy(some GREAT servers, and some not so great ones), but the food is too good to miss! The catering service is outstanding, too. They catered my rehearsal dinner and it was affordable and delicious.

We went to Amedeo’s for dinner on a Sunday night. The restaurant wasn’t too busy, and service was fast. Our waitress was attentive and anticipated what we needed, which was nice. We ordered hot and sweet shrimp as an app, and the French onion soup. The shrimp were really good; cooked perfectly, and the sauce was hot and honey flavored. Plus, mild hot pepper rings were on the plate, and offered a nice contrast to the sweet sauce. The onion soup had lots of cheese on it, but tasted like it was beef broth from a can. I have to say that I only ate half at the restaurant, and it did taste better the next day when I ate the leftovers. We also ordered 2 personal sized pizzas. They would have been considered smalls in Amherst, they were that big. The crusts were handmade, crispy and perfectly cooked. My husband and son raved about them. I ordered the veal/eggplant parm which was very good. The angel hair pasta was cooked al dente, and had adequate sauce on it. The sauce was a bit too tart for my taste, but others might like it. It tasted really good in the parm though. The best part was the sangria that I ordered. It was loaded with lemons, limes, peaches, pineapple and marachino cherries. My husband commented that it was a drink *and* dessert. I wouldn’t order that though if I were driving, since the serving was so large. Have a designated driver instead. :) We will be going back again.
