History

Established in 1919.

Built in 1919 by Japanese immigrant Yoshisuke Sasaki it was once the largest general store on the Kona Coast. When the store was bypassed by the Kuakini Highway in 1967 the store’s business slowly dwindled. Upon the passing of Yoshisuke’s son Rikio in 2009 the property was put up for sale. We purchased it in 2010 and after 9 months of restoration brought the Keauhou Store back to life!
