Chatters Bar & Grill

Chatters is located inside the Island 16 theater. My boss mentioned that Chatters was really quite good so I’ve been looking for an opportunity to give it a try. This evening we ordered their Bourbon steak tips. The meat was impeccable and my husband loved the bourbon sweet sauce (he rarely makes favorable comments on foods). The mixed grilled vegetables couldn’t have been better. Carrot and yellow squash slices, broccoli pieces, and bits of red peppers were perfectly very slightly crisp and not the least oily. Great to mix with the Yukon Gold mashed. This was a very healthy value for $ 14.99. I commented to the waitress that they served the best Lemonade I’ve ever tasted.

If you are eating BEFORE seeing a movie, I would advise that you inform the waitress of your time requirement. We ate after our show so we had no time issues, however it did take about 25 or 30 minutes for our plates to arrive and it was a Monday with only one waitress working. Her service was fine but I’m glad we were not pressed for time. The food here seems to be fabulous so give yourself time to relax and enjoy. It is actually a rather nice atmosphere as well and there are numerous TV screens running with captioning alone.

food wasn’t that bad but I had to get up, walk to the bar, and ask the bartender for my own refill (we were sitting at a table.) Eek! Me thinks not is right!
