Each Tiny Meal is prepared as a balanced lunch that meets/​exceeds USDA’s daily fruit and vegetable intake recommendations and delivered freshly to schools in South Broward

Tiny Meals were developed by Marifer Avery and Gina Eckstadt as a healthy, nutritious, tasty and fun alternatives to «grab and go» supermarket meals.

As a internet blogger, busy wife and mother to two toddlers, Marifer quickly found out how hard it was to balance a «work at home» schedule while providing fun and nutritious lunches. She started researching ways to make toddler-​friendly food that was easy for small hands but they needed to be nutritious so she reached out to her friend and chef, Gina Eckstadt.

Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts & Science from Johnson & Wales University and the desire to teach children good eating habits, Gina set up to create healthy alternatives to traditional sauces. Gina’s 13 years experience in fine dining, catering and hospitality helped to fine tune the concept for our Tiny Meals.
